B. Johnson 44'
The full time whistle is blown at Carrow Road after almost five minutes of stoppage time concludes a confident Norwich performance that brings the Canaries' third successive home win. Stoke offered little in attack in the first half and deserved to fall behind through a Bradley Johnson header from a corner. The Potters grew into the game in the second half and went close through Kenwyne Jones after he was brought on as another striker alongside Peter Crouch. Chris Hughton's defence however remained firm despite having to reorganise following the departure of two of their number, while Stoke's poor away run continues.

Right back Geoff Cameron displays both athleticism and technical ability to win the ball with an interception and retain it under heavy pressure from the Stoke midfield. The Potters are pressing more successfully now and displaying more ambition going forward.
Tony Pulis brings on left winger Matthew Etherington in place of Michael Kightly.

Ryan Benson at Carrow Road: "Halftime at Carrow Road and Norwich go into the break with a deserved lead. The hosts have been the only side who have offered anything of an attacking threat with Anthony Pilkington going close before Bradley Johnson's opener and generally controlling the play. Stoke's midfield have struggled to cope, particularly with Wes Hoolahan who has been outstanding yet again for Norwich."

Ryan Benson Live from Carrow Road: "I think the lack of exciting action here is summed up well by the fact that Norwich fans are singing at other Norwich fans about not signing. They also had a rather amusing plethora of Tony Pulis-related chants, but I won't be repeating them."
Crouch receives a long ball from the right flank and tries to control the ball before shooting, but Michael Turner is on hand to clear the ball.
