Maggio's looping pass over the defence almost allows Lavezzi to run onto the ball, but Viviano comes out to claim it.

Siligardi makes his impact felt, as his left-foot drive earns a corner. He quickly gets to take it, and Meggiorini almost glances it in.
Lavezzi's shot is skyrocketed, as Hamsik's cross into the middle is deflected into the path of the Argentine on the edge of the box.
Siligardi's venomous left-foot shot force De Sanctis into work, and he is up to it. Corner.
Meggiorini quickly gets into the match as he twists and turns his way past Campagnaro, but cannot get show past the defender, as his outstretched leg blocks the shot.
And again Cavani and Lavezzi combine, as the Argentine lays a pass off for the Uruguayan, but Viviano again is in a good position to get the ball away.

Long clearance by De Sanctis finds Lavezzi, whose one-time touch finds Cavani, but more sloppy defending allows the Uruguayan to get to the bye-line, and square it for Hamsik. The Sloakian tees up his shot...GOOOAALLLL! GGGGOOOAAALLLL. Hamsik gets his double as the ball is played low into the middle, knocked on by Campagnaro to the back-post and the Slovakian smashes it into the net. 3-0
Another Bologna error, this time from Viviano as his pass to a team-mate was intercepted by Cavani, who squares a ball for Lavezzi, who tries the cheeky chip, but the outstretched 'keeper claims it. Lucky!
Cavani...almost doubling Napoli's lead as he tried to toe-poke a ball past Viviano after Britos' attempted chest-down to the 'keeper.
Offside against Gimenez, as the rain starts to come down here in the stadium.
Gimenez looks for the handball against Santacroce, but waved away by the referee.
Bologna's corner is sent into a troubling position, but luckily for the home side, they get the ball away.
Hamsik delivers a deep ball for Lavezzi, but Britos' heads it away, but it won't be a corner, only a throw-in.
Lavezzi again, but this time, he can't get enough curl on the ball whilst running. The Argentine is looking extremely dangerous.

Lavezzi diagonal ball for Santacroce is overhit, and travels out of play. Had the right idea, though, as he was unmarked and in space.
And Cannavaro is off for the moment, receiving treatment, whilst Cribari warms up on the sidelines.
Garics makes the long rum down the right, as the Rossoblu switch play, but he is met by Cannavaro, as he looks like he has picked up a knock of some sort from the sliding challenge.
Some scrappy defending by Bologna requires Viviano to boot the ball away in a hurry.
Patient build-up by Napoli, happy to work it around, and Pazienza decides to float a ball into the box for Cavani, but Viviano comes off his line and claims it quite comfortably.
Gimenez tries the backheel into the box for Ekdal, but the ball bounces off Cannavaro, and pushed out to the right. Clever attempt.
Di Vaio's shot is blocked by Cannavaro, and allows Napoli to counter, as Hamsik finds Lavezzi, who allows the ball to run past, and sprint onto it. His dashing run into the box sees him put in a low left-foot cross, but no one is home, and the ball is allowed to run.
Busce finds some space after getting onto the loose ball, and whips in a ball into the middle, but cleared away quite easily.
The free-kick is too long, and no one can do anything dangerous with it.
Campagnaro makes a decent run into his own half, but is dispossessed, and Gimenez does the exact thing going the other way, offloading to Di Vaio, who isn't allowed space, and is brought down for a free-kick on the left.
Long throw-in finds Hamsik in the box, but he doesn't have the first-touch to control it.

Bologna look to press forward through Garics, but loses control, as Gimenez send it out of play, and a reprieve for Napoli.

Cavani on the edge of the area, swings onto his left, but it is a weak shot, which doesn't bother Viviano.
And that is it, as the referee blows for full-time! Napoli 4-1 Bologna. Christian Maggio opened the scoring. Marek Hamsik got a brace before Riccardo Meggiorinin got one back for the visitors.
