  • And to think, if Esswein had kept his cool, it could have been all three! That's it for now though. Thanks for joining me, Harry Slavin, and until next time, goodbye!
  • FULL-TIME: NURNBERG 1-1 DORTMUND. Klopp's and his side surrender their 100 per cent record then as a makeshift Dortmund fail to hold out against the Bundesliga strugglers. Still no win for the hosts this season, but they'll definitely be the happier with that point.
  • 90' + 3'
SOKRATIS!!! Final corner of the game and the giant Greek defender heads straight at Schafer right on the full-time whistle!
  • 90' + 2'
WHAT A HUGE CHANCE FOR ESSWEIN!! The substitute has a massive moment to write himself into Nurnberg folklore but he lashes his effort over the bar when clean through after skipping past Subotic.
  • 90' + 1'
Just two minutes of added on time. We are already into the first minute. Is there one more chance left in this?
  • 89'
    SubstitutionHiroshi Kiyotake Martin Angha
  • 89'
Nurnberg look happy to sit back and pick up their fourth point of the season. It's BVB doing all the pressing here.
  • 87'
Three minutes to go and Dortmund have their seventh corner of the game. Their 100 per cent record slipping before their very eyes at the moment.
  • 85'
Per Nilsson and Robert Lewandowski go head to head over just about nothing. The referee is across to cool things down after the Swede takes exception to the Dortmund no.9's challenge on Schafer.
  • 83'
Maybe it was a bit too close to goal for Sahin's liking, but his attempt is far too casual. The Turkish international steps up and strokes the free kick into the wall, the ball deflecting behind for a corner.
  • 82'
Ducksch is brought down on the edge of the area. This one definitely is a foul and it's definitely within striking distance.
  • 81'
    SubstitutionDaniel Ginczek Tomas Pekhart
  • 81'
Another sub for Nurnberg as former Tottenham man Tomas Pekhart comes on for Ginczek.
  • 81'
Sokratis HAD to get that right! The Grecian comes across and gets to the ball just ahead of Ginczek as the striker threatens to burst through once more!
  • 79'
Klopp's men have turned it up a notch as Lewandowski lofts the ball over the back four for Hofmann to run on to. He can't quite create the shooting opportunity he wants though and he's eventually tackled.
  • 77'
CHANCE FOR LEWI!!! The Jonas Hofmann goes on a surging run that is only halted when his shot from just inside the area is blocked. It falls straight into the path of Lewandowski though, his effort stinging the palms of Schafer before the flag goes up for offside against Ducksch.
  • 75'
We are into the final fifteen now. It's been fairly straightforward for the home defence all afternoon. Can Dortmund force the issue here?
  • 73'
Per Nilsson is down and looks in some serious trouble. The Nurnberg club doctor is shaking his head as he escorts the central defender off the pitch but within seconds he's back on.
  • 71'
Lewandowski gets his first sighting of goal but it's a comfortable stop for Schafer.
  • 69'
HASEBE!!! The Japanese midfielder twists and turns inside the Dortmund half and manages to get his shot away but Weidenfeller is right behind it and not troubled in the slightest.
  • 67'
    SubstitutionAdam Hlousek Alexander Esswein
  • 67'
Hlousek is off for the home side to be replaced by Alexander Esswein. The winger was a doubt for today's game but he's off the bench now.
  • 66'
Lewandowski does come on, but it isn't Ducksch coming off. Kuba makes way and Dortmund will see out the game with two up top. Subotic also joins substituted Reus in the book for Dortmund.
  • 65'
    SubstitutionJakub Blaszczykowski Robert Lewandowski
  • 65'
    Yellow CardNeven Subotic
  • 65'
Weidenfeller is adjudge to have stopped the ball from going out but it looked like a blatant corner to me, and most others in the ground. Lewandowski is about to come on to give Die Schwarzgelben's front line a much needed shot in the arm.
  • 63'
No sign of Langerak coming on now for the visitors and Lewandowski has now been sent out to warm up, much to the approval of the away support. It just hasn't happened for the young striker Ducksch this afternoon.
  • 61'
Important tackle from Subotic! Dortmund youth product Daniel Ginczek threatens to haunt his old side as he runs through on goal, but an impeccably timed tackle from the central defender puts a halt to the striker's charge.
  • 59'
A moment ago it looked as though things might get even worse for the visitors as Mitch Langerak began to warm up. An injury would truly cap a woeful week for Weidenfeller now.
  • 57'
DUCKSCH!!! The 19-year-old gets his big chance but can't take advantage as he sees his low drive saved by the feet of Schafer after Kuba plays him in.
  • 55'
Blaszczykowski fires just wide for Dortmund now. The Pole picks up the ball on the edge of the area after Hofmann's cross is nodded away but the effort rolls past Schafer's right hand post.
  • 53'
Borussia Dortmund's opener came in pretty controversial circumstances and the home side will feel that goal is justice. Nurnberg are on the front foot now. They're taking the game to BVB!
  • 51'
    GoalPer Nilsson
GOOAAALLL!!! NILSSON RIFLES HOME!!! Mike Frantz dinks in a free kick and Pogatetz helps it into the path of Per Nilsson who controls in the six-yard-box before smashing home beyond a rotted Weidenfeller. Game on!
  • 48'
It's an almost unrecognisable eleven that Dortmund now have out with Reus coming off at the break. Sahin is on as well now though, and they can still bring on Lewandowski or Mkhitaryan in this half. They might need them if they continue to struggle with their hosts.
  • 46'
    SubstitutionMarcel Schmelzer Nuri Sahin
  • 46'
    SubstitutionMarco Reus Jonas Hofmann
  • 46'
Two changes at the break for Dortmund. Reus hans't shaken off that injury and he is replaced by Hofmann. Sahin is also on for goalscorer Schmelzer. We're back up and running.
  • Dortmund currently on course then to maintain that 100 per cent record. The sides are back on their way out for the second half. Can the home side get themselves back in it?
  • Not a vintage BVB performance then, but they're ahead. There may be a few changes though to come in the second half. Especially if Reus is still struggling. Hofmann is currently out on the pitch at the Grundig Stadion, warming up in his full kit.
  • HALF-TIME: NURNBERG 0-1 DORTMUND. It hasn't been a classic but Schmelzer's moment of magic has lit up a match that has been relatively event free. Nurnberg will feel hard done by and certainly don't deserve to be behind. How will Armin Reutershahn and Michael Wiesinger set up their Nurnberg side for the second half?
  • 45' + 1'
No added time so no time for the substitution just yet, that's it for the first half!
  • 44'
We've only got a minute or so until half time but it looks like BVB are being forced into a substitution. Jonas Hofmann is getting ready to come on as Reus continues to hold his leg after that early clash with Chandler.
  • 42'
Adam Hlousek get's his head onto Makoto Hasebe's free kick but his flick on is easily gathered by Weidenfeller. Not long until the break now.
  • 40'
There hasn't been too much to suggest Die Schwarzgelben have been the better side so far, but like every good side they've found the lead despite not playing well. Can they hold on to it though?
  • 37'
    GoalMarcel Schmelzer
GOOOAAALLL!!! MARCEL SCHMELZER WITH A GLORIOUS FREE KICK!!! Pick that out!! The left-back isn't widely known as a dead-ball specialist but I haven't seen too many struck better than that this year. Scmelzer steps up and sticks it right into the top corner, leaving Schafer with no chance.
  • 37'
Nurnberg players and fans are all up in arms. Kuba takes the ball for a walk in the middle of the Nurnberg half. It looks like he has dribbled up a dead end but referee Kircher deems that the Poland star was fouled by Frantz. It's within this shooting range this...
  • 35'
Marvin Plattenhardt wins Nurnberg their first corner of the game. Any chance evaporates though as Pogatetz is penalised for climbing.
  • 34'
    Yellow CardMarco Reus
  • 34'
To compound the BVB man's misery he's booked as well, referee Knut Kircher deeming that to have been deliberate obstruction.
  • 33'
Hmm, this is a strange one. Marco Reus is down and looks in a great deal of distress. Timothy Chandler ran into the back of him and the German has come off worse.
  • 31'
Good strength from Sokratis stops Ginczek from running in on goal. The home side certainly haven't been overrun by their high flying opponents so far.
  • 29'
Schmelzer tries something similar at the other end but it's a tame effort in the end and bounces into the hands of Schafer.
  • 27'
GREAT EFFORT FROM KIYOTAKE!!! The chances are beginning to arrive thick and fast now. The Japanese midfielder lines up a shot from 25-yards after the ball sits up nicely for him. He connects with it perfectly but it flies just over Weidenfeller's bar.
  • 26'
AUBA!!! Schmelzer swings in a deep cross that flies over the entire defence and finds Aubameyang but his first-time shot fizzes across the face of Schafer's goal.
  • 24'
Marco Reus shows great control to bring the ball under control in the area but he's denied the chance to apply the finishing touches by the linesman's flag.
  • 22'
Timothy Chandler is the first player in the book this afternoon as the right-back is cautioned for a foul.
  • 21'
    Yellow CardTimothy Chandler
  • 21'
BAR!!! Almost an opener for the hosts! Frantz sends a looping header goalwards and it takes a combination of Weidenfeller's right hand and the crossbar to keep it out.
  • 19'
Don't get me wrong though, juice is not to be messed with. I once got hit by Capri-Sun and spent the day nursing a scratch on my arm. Dangerous stuff. Anyway. Nurnberg are on the attack.
  • 17'
Even the fans don't quite have that mean-streak in them today. A missile was thrown at Reus earlier in the half but it turned out only to be a carton of juice. Perhaps they thought he may be thirsty? Thoughtful lot these Nurnberg fans.
  • 15'
It's taken us this long to see the first foul us Hlousek takes down Subotic in his own half. It doesn't seem like it's going to turn into that type of game.
  • 13'
Timothy Chandler gets forward for the hosts now down the right. He cuts in on to his left foot and tries to let fly, but Schmelzer stands strong and blocks the effort.
  • 11'
They certainly look a little more confident as Hasebe intercepts the ball as Dortmund try to play it out of defence. He looks up and tries to lob Weidenfeller from around 35-yards! A cheeky effort but it was never on.
  • 9'
In all truth it has been a torrid start to the season for Nurnberg. They're without a win and have only picked up three points from their opening five games. They won't have been looking forward to the visit of Klopp's men but they must have been a little more confident once the starting line-ups were announced.
  • 7'
REUS!! The BVB star nips in ahead of Schafer and rounds the keeper, but his gouldbound effort is hacked off of the line by Pogatetz. Early chance for the visitors.
  • 5'
Nevin Subotic was a doubt for today's game after getting clouted in the match against Napoli. He's started the day with a bandage just above his eye. The man is made of strong stuff.
  • 3'
Marco Reus tries a cute backheel to get Grosskreutz into the area but it's cleared behind for an early corner. Reus's delivery is headed away at the front post and Schmelzer's attempted volley from the edge of the area is blocked.
  • 1'
Away we go! Dortmund have done away with the black shorts this afternoon and are in all yellow. Their already in possession too after the hosts kicked us off!
  • The teams are out and Nurnberg are ready to get us underway.
  • Robert Lewandowski is relegated to the bench for this afternoon along with Mkhitaryan and Sahin. Whether that's to rest them after a busy start to the season or a message that their places aren't always assured remains to be seen. Ducksch gets his chance up top this afternoon.
  • DORTMUND: (4-2-3-1) Weidenfeller; Durm, Papastathopoulos, Subotic, Schmelzer; Grosskreutz, Bender; Blaszczykowski, Reus, Aubameyang; Ducksch.
  • NURNBERG: (4-3-3) Schafer; Chandler, Nilsson, Pogatetz, Plattenhardt; Hasebe, Stark, Frantz; Kiyotake, Ginczek, Hlousek.
  • We aren't far from kick off so let's get some full team news ahead of kick off, starting with the hosts.
  • Dortmund have won all five of their opening Bundesliga fixtures, somethjng they've never managed before in their history. Despite the concerns from club chief Michael Zorc, the club have avoided an injury crisis at the back and only Mats Hummels is missing from the squad that has travelled today.
  • Jurgen Klopp and his side didn't have the greatest of starts to their Champions League campaign as they lost their cool on and off the pitch in Naples as they lost 2-1 to Napoli. It's back to the bread and butter of the league though for BVB and they'll be hoping to put Wednesday's nightmare behind them by maintaing their best start to a season today against Nurnberg.
  • Good afternoon and welcome back to the Bundesliga! After a week of European football it's back to domestic duties for Borussia Dortmund, and today they travel to the Grundig Stadion to take on Nurnberg. I'm Harry Slavin and I'll be here to take you through all the action.
