It ends 1-1 here, a fair result for both teams. Milan were the better side, but Udinese had their clear cut chances as well. They remain unbeaten to start the season, while Allegri's team are still searching for their first win. That's it from me, make sure to keep it here at goal.com for the full time report, player ratings and match reactions! I'm Keeghann Sinanan, and it's been a pleasure.
And that is that as the ref blows for full time!
90' + 1'
Inzaghi goes down rather easily in the box after Domizzi makes slight contact with him. The referee wisely not falling for it.
El Shaarawy blasts a shot into orbit as four minutes of added time is signaled.
ABBIATI AGAIN!!!! Abdi knocks it down to Di Natale, who fires a rifle at goal which the Milan stopper manages to get hands to again! Wonderful goalkeeping!
Through ball finds Nocerino in the area, but he just can't get enough on it to take it past Handanovic.
ABBIATI GREAT SAVE!!!! Great ball by Armero into the heart of the box, leads to a header from Benatia which Abbiati tips expertly wide!
Sumstitutions - Abdi replaces Isla and more importantly for the home fans, Inzaghi on for Zambrotta. Great reception for the veteran striker, can he create some headlines with five minutes to go?
A counter attack by Milan lead to Emanuelson curling a shot straight into Handanovic's arms from 18 yards out. The substitute has been in the thick of it since coming on.
After a blocked shot by Nocerino and a failed corner by Seedorf, Udinese try to break, but are marshaled expertly by Thiago SIlva and Nesta. The centre-back pairing has been on song tonight.
Nice try by Emanuelson! El Shaarawy knocks down Nocerino's cross into the substitute's path, who attempts an athletic overhead kick that sails over.
Van Bommel whacks the ball unwittingly against the backside of the referee to a loud cheer from the home fans.
Emanuelson makes a darting run across the Udinese backline, and goes down under pressure from Benatia. Some half-hearted penalty appeals, but nothing doing.
PINZI HITS THE POST!!!! Di Natale holds the ball up in the Milan box, and feeds Pinzi, who hits it on the volley but strikes the base of the woodwork. Unlucky!!
A shot of Gattusso on the Milan bench sporting ludicrously oversized glasses and a samurai ponytail. High comedy.
Cassano is found on the right and his cross is headed to Emanuelson, who shimmies brilliantly but fires his shot high and wide.
Emanuelson's first contribution is to waste a good crossing position by overhitting the ball. Nocerino does well to recover it, but the Udinese defense takes care of him.
Aquilani off, Emanuelson on. I'd forgotten he was on the pitch to be honest.
Abate booked for tripping Isla. Free kick for Di Natale, who hits a low, bending bouncer about a foot wide.
Yellow Card Ignazio Abate
The San Siro has been awakened, and the fans are in full voice. Gaps are now appearing in the Udinese midfield, as the momentum is clearly with the home side.
Yellow Card Antonio Nocerino
Nocerino released down the right flank, but Armero does enough to put the ball out for a corner. Nothing comes of it though.
Goal Stephan El Shaarawy
MILAN ARE LEVEL!!!!!! Cassano plays in El Shaarawy, who wrongfoots Handanovic with a low finish into the far corner. Great finish, and Udinese's defence is breached for the first time this season. Game on!!!
Torje off, Pinzi on. The Romanian was one of the better attacking threats for the visitors, and was crucial for the first goal.
HANDANOVIC GREAT SAVE!!!!! The ball is played in towards Cassano near the penalty spot, he chests and volleys but Handanovic is quick off his line to thwart his effort brilliantly with his legs. Great goalkeeping, as ever from the Slovenian.
Udinese attempt to break through Isla, but Aquilani brings him down near the halfway line. Somewhat lucky to escape a yellow, but the first notable moment from the Italian, who has been largely anonymous so far.
Armero caught offside at the byline after a great pass by Torje. Milan try to restart with a quick free kick, but the referee having none of it.
Seedorf at the center of things early in the second half, he chips a decent ball in towards Nocerino, who heads over. Handanovic probably had it covered had it been on target.
Now Isla pushes Seedorf in the back. A bit of comeuppance?
Basta goes down in the center circle after a forearm shiver by Seedorf. You could either call it a savvy veteran move, or a bit of dirtiness from the Dutchman. Freekick.
Milan chance!!! Nocerino hits an inviting ball into the area, Cassano skews the attempted scissor kick volley badly, and its runs out of play just ahead of Nesta. Were this six years ago, the defender may have had the legs to get on the end of it.
Now its Torje's turn to have a crack from difference, but hits it dead center, right at the goalkeeper who handles.
Van Bommel finds some space 35 yards from goal, and lets fly with a tame effort that trickles harmlessly wide.
Here we go again!
Some smash and grab stuff here from Udinese, they have been inferior, but Abbiati's snafu has given them the lead. Milan have been close, but not close enough. In truth, the Udinese defence has been solid, and Allegri faces a sizable task in the second half, especially given Pato's enforced withdrawal through injury.
And the referee blows for half time!
ABATE JUST WIDE!!! Cassano almost does too much at the top of the box, but manages to find the onrushing Nocerino about 10 yards from goal. Handanovic rushes out and stops his shot, but Abate flashes the rebound just past the far post! Near miss again!
Udinese try to attack through Basta on the right, but he is upended by Seedorf. Shortly after, the Serbian tries to feed Torje, but he starts his run from an offside position.
SEEDORF HITS THE POST!!!!! The veteran midfielder wins a free kick after Danilo fells him to halt his menacing run from midfield. He steps up himself to take the free kick, 20 yards from goal, but bends it agonizingly onto the far post!!!
Some delightful close control by Seedorf at the top of the D leads to a great ball for Zambrotta overlapping on the left. He is tacked by Danilo, and weak calls for a handball.
CLOSE FOR UDINESE! Armero advances down the left, and hits a line-drive towards the bottom corner. However, the Milan stopper parries it wide. Good save!
Again Milan go forward. Seedorf feeds El Shaarawy, but his weak effort goes out for a goal kick, neither a shot or a cross for the waiting Cassano
Milan go on the offensive instantly. First Zambrotta is caught offside, then both Pato and Cassano have their shots blocked.
Goal Antonio Di Natale
DI NATALE GRABS THE OPENER!!! Torje gets the better of Abate on the left flank and hits a seemingly harmless cross into the Milan box. However, Abbiati lets it slip out of his grasp, and Di Natale punishes him instantly by slotting home. Horrible from the goalkeeper and from Abate, who was beaten by Torje far too easily.
Now Asamoah picks up a sloppy pass by Van Bommel, and feeds Di Natale. However, Nesta successfully harries the Italian striker before he can get the pass under full control.
Torje finds himself in space in the Milan half. He breaks with pace towards the goal, but with Di Natale peeling away into space in the box, he attempts a cross-cum-shot that Abbiati claims easily.
Yellow Card Maurizio Domizzi
Milan blunted in their play just a little following Pato's forced withdrawal. However, Udinese have not shown much endeavor themselves, and 0-0 is an expected scoreline at this point.
Stephan El Shaarawy
Injury here to Pato, bad news for the hosts. It looks like he's done his hammy, and Stephan El Shaarawy has been summoned as a replacement.
Torje tries to lead Udinese on the break, but a failed give and go between Basta and Badu leaves AC Milan free to counter. However, Cassano is caught offside.
First booking, Zambrotta gets yellow for a push in the back on Isla.
Yellow Card Gianluca Zambrotta
Milan have gone away from the ball over the top and are now trying to attack through Pato on the flanks. However, the Brazilian is well-marshaled by the Udinese defence.
Nesta deflects a pass from Asamoah for a corner. Di Natale's corner is headed away but Torje plays it straight back into the area. Shouts for handball against Nesta, but no sympathy from the referee.
Early ball into the area from Milan, and a header by Pato that goes comfortably wide.
Di Natale tries to evade the attentions of Thiago SIlva - easier said than done. Well played by the Brazilian to shepard him towards the touchline.
Milan getting into their stride, giving the Udinese midfield the runaround early and leaving them to play on the counter.
Seedorf sends a long ball through to Pato, who holds off the Udinese defender but commits a foul in the process. Free kick to the visitors.
Early corner for the visitors, conceded after some good defensive work by Nesta. Di Natale already making good runs early.
Here we go!
Kickoff is minutes away, the players are going through their warmups on the pitch and the fans are still filing into the stadium. With all the turmoil going on at Inter following Gasperini's sacking, a win for Milan would be that much sweeter for their fans.
Udinese meanwhile will look to build on their perfect start to the season, picking up six points from their opening 2 games. Antonio Di Natale has already bagged four goals in all competitions this season.
Milan are looking for their first win of the new campaign, but will have to do it without Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who remains sidelined. Pato and Cassano will do the heavy lifting up front.
Udinese (3-5-1-1): Handanovic; Benatia, Danilo, Domizzi; Basta, Isla, Badu, Asamoah, Armero; Torje; Di Natale.
AC Milan (4-3-1-2): Abbiati; Abate, Nesta, Thiago Silva, Zambrotta; Nocerino, Van Bommel, Seedorf; Aquilani; Pato, Cassano.
