GOOOAAALLL! Cassano was the architect who puts a lovely chip over the defence into space for Ibra who tapped it past Antonioli to make it 1-0. The 'keeper got a touch, but it was to no avail. It may though, be awarded as a own-goal as Pellegrini did get the last touch before crossing over.

HOW DID THAT NOT GO IN? Robinho perfectly-weighted flick over the defence from the right spots Ibra, who get his head to the ball and aiming for the very bottom left corner, gets it to within a whisker of crossing over the line. Antonioli manages to somehow stop it.

Milan will have to be careful as Parolo has the ball, looking keen at scoring, but the defence help push the ball out for a goal kick.

Cassano's wayward pass puts Ambrosini under pressure, and the ball is given away. As Schelotto was about to push forward, Antonini makes a foul on him, and the ref award the left-back a yellow card.

Antonini makes a TERRIBLE error allowing Schelotto to capitalise on his error down the right. The midfielder smashes his attempt directly into Abbiati, who then has to tap the ball over the crossbar for a corner.
Ibrahimovic earns a metre of space, looking to weave some magic after receiving a lay-off from Ambrosini. His turn-and-shot go straight at Abbiati.
Ceccarelli brings the ball down well, and delivers a quality ball into the middle from the right for one of his team-mates to get on to, but there is no one home.
Malonga again with the shot from distance, but this time, he deag it to the left.

Milan got back to winning ways midweek against Bari in the Coppa Italia, after two league draws. Cesena have suffered two defeats in their last two matches, and will want to rectify this.
The last time these two team met at the very start of the season, the Bianconeri had a shock 2-0 victory, and will be hoping for the same result this evening.
