Commentary

FULL TIME - The final whistle sounds at AAMI Park.  Depsite playing the second half a man down, Melbourne City threw everything at the visitors but just couldn't manufacture enough chances to put any pressure on the defence and it was a late strike from Mitchell Mallia that sealed a well deserved victory for Perth Glory.  After a highly entertaining, and somewhat controversial, 90 minutes in Melbourne - Melbourne City 1 Perth Glory 3.
90' + 4' There's some space for Marcin Budzinski at the top of the penalty area - the City forward wheels onto his favoured right foot but fires the ball well wide and high of the target.  That just about sums up the evening for the home side.
90' + 2' CHANCE!  Tim Cahill climbs high in the box before nodding toward goal - Manny Muscat also manages to get a touch on it however the ball slides past the far post for a goal kick to the visitors.
