The England No. 1 had little to do but was sharp when needed, rushing off his line to smother at Morison's feet in the first-half. Could do nothing about the Norwich goal.
A comfortable afternoon for the City captain, who hardly broke a sweat until the last 15 minutes when Norwich went for broke.
The Ivorian didn't have the toughest of afternoon's but looked off the pace as three times he switched off defensively, allowing Morison and Bennett strikes on goal.
Assured and composed defensively as he stayed wary of Norwich counter-attacks. Used the ball well.
The City right-back took advantage of Norwich's tactics by playing virtually as a wing-back. Stretched the pitch by continually bombing forward and squared the ball for Aguero's opener.
His role as a holding midfielder was almost superfluous given Norwich's tactics but he kept City ticking along with simple passing.
Along with Nasri, the Spaniard was the man who tried to pick holes in the Norwich defence. Didn't control the game as he has others, but demanded the ball and was at the heart of City's most inventive play in the final third.
His manager has suggested the Frenchman has been below par for City lately, but he responded with an impressive display. Scored City's second with what even he will admit was an attempted cross from a free-kick - but his movement and passing was excellent throughout.
The Ivorian showed his finish quality by effortlessly curling in the third from the edge of the box to put the result beyond any doubt. Helped control the midfield alongside Barry, mainly starting moves from deep.
The Bosnian started brightly, shooting just wide from the edge of the box, but struggled to find space under close attention from Norwich.
Brilliant trickery and predatory finishing to break the deadlock in the 32nd minute, twisting in the box before scoring with a toe-poke. Could have scored more but was denied by Ruddy after excellent movement to get himself in good positions.
Made some sharp stops, especially to keep out Aguero, but will be disappointed with his slow reactions to Nasri's free-kick for the second goal.
Led by example in an impressive first half-hour for the visitors but had no answer to City's quality in the penalty box.
Worked hard and showed good pace, but was unable to display his attacking qualities.
The Norwich right-back was targeted by the hosts and found it hard to cope. Got dragged inside by Silva and Nasri while his lack of pace was exposed by Richards. Provided the cross for Morison's consolation nine minutes from time.
The central defender was excellent against Dzeko in the air but struggled to deal with City's movement in the second-half. Slow to close the ball down.
Raced around Hart shortly after the re-start but shot over the bar from an acute angle. It was the only time he really got to stretch his legs as he was well dealt with by Clichy.
Showed the odd glimpse of his technical ability without ever threatening in attacking situations.
Huffed and puffed in central midfield but was mainly chasing shadows as he did barely anything of note on the ball.
The Welshman was another who covered plenty of ground but simply didn't have the quality to cause City any problems. Nutmugged by Aguero for the opener.
Provided width but was almost anonymous on the ball before being replaced by Hoolahan on the hour.
Worked tirelessly as Norwich's loan striker. Desperately isolated but made chances for himself. Should have scored in the first-half but took a heavy touch as he raced through, but he did find the net with a powerful header in the 81st minute.

Replaced Nasri in the 69th minute. Provided width and scored the fifth with a calm finish in added time.
Replaced Aguero in the 82nd minute and scored City's fourth with an outrageous 'shoulder' on the line after Ruddy had kept out his first effort.

Came on for Johnson in the 77th minute but had little impact.
The 60th minute replacement for Pilkington impressed with classy passing.

Replaced Barnett on the hour as the visitors finally showed some attacking intent. Never really got a sight on goal.
