R. Lewandowski 78', 90'+
That is it from me, Tom Webber, for this afternoon. Have a great evening.
FULL TIME - Mainz 1-3 Dortmund: After a rather cagey first half, BVB come away as winners with Lewandowski scoring twice from spot after Choupo-Moting had equalised with a penalty of his own following Aubameyang's stunning free-kick opener. Klopp's men bring a run of two straight defeats to an end, though it was by no means a convincing victory.

Penalty Goal Robert Lewandowski
90' + 4'
The final whistle is blown!
90' + 3'
The ball breaks to Durm in the area after a BVB counterattack and he turns excellently in the area and is caught by Karius' legs.
90' + 3'
Penalty to Dortmund!
90' + 2'
Dormtund try to keep the ball down in the Mainz half but they run it out of play and the hosts look to launch it long.
90' + 1'
We are into the first of an additional three minutes.
WHAT A SAVE!! Saller almost has the perfect impact on the game as he arrows a great shot towards goal after a corner is not dealt with properly. He drives it low but Weidenfeller manages to get down and smother it.
Mkhitaryan glides across the top of the box and tries to thread a pass into Aubameyang. Park reads it though, and positions himself well to make a crucial interception.
BVB are now knocking the ball about patiently on the half way line. They are trying to take the sting out of the game, but they are by no means just winding down the clock.
The game is really heating up now as Mainz show far more urgency than they have all game. They want to bring themselves level and try to take something from this game.
Great effort from Geis! The midfielder curled a great effort over the wall, but he was unable to match Aubameyang's effort from earlier and the ball bent just wide of the target.
Mkhitaryan races through on goal, rounds the keeper and slots it home, but is adjudged offside from the original pass.
Lewandowski receives the ball in the area and turns well, but his shot is rather tame and the keeper is able to save it comfortably.
Red Card Elkin Soto
RED CARD FOR SOTO!! Aubameyang had rounded the keeper and looked to put the ball into the net but a deliberate hand ball from the Colombian sent it wide.
Penalty Goal Robert Lewandowski
GOOOOAALL! Lewandowski restores the visitors' lead, bending a brilliant penalty just inside the post with the keeper diving the other way.
That is quality from Park! He reads Mkhitaryan's pass and steals in to intercept it before racing down the other end of the pitch. Aubameyang chases him down but concedes a free kick in his attempts to win the ball.
Penalty Goal Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting
GOOOOAAAL!! Choupo-Moting keeps a cool head and he slots home from 12 yards, sending the keeper the wrong way. It is 1-1!
PENALTY TO MAINZ!! Malli is pushed to ground by Piszczek and the referee points to the spot.
Geis gets a chance to shoot from distance once more and it skids along the ground towards goal. Weidenfeller is able to watch it all the way though, and he has no trouble stopping that one.
Goal Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang
GOOOOOAAAAL!! UNBELIEVABLE STRIKE! Aubameyang clips an absolutely stunning free kick over the wall from almost 30 yards, struck with his instep, that hits the inside of the post before going into the back of the net. Exquisite goal.
Piszczek finally gets forward again, into an excellent crossing area, but he fires the ball over the top of the goal and straight out for a free kick.
This game could still go either way. Dortmund are enjoying a lot of possession but seem bereft of a cutting edge. It is giving Mainz confidence and making them more adventurous, as they feel that they could actually nick this one.
Choupo-Moting has been bright since coming on. He again came in from the left, but this time he attempted to switch the play rather than shoot. His ball out to Pospech was decent, but the Czech lost his footing and was unable to collect it.
Dortmund are starting to dominate possession in this half, but they are yet to create a meaningful chance from open play since the restart. The longer this continues, you imagine the more confident Mainz will become.
OVER THE TOP!! Sahin whips in a cracking free kick from deep on the near side and Sokratis rises highest to meet it. He manages to angle an effort on target but it fails to drop low enough to test Weidenfeller.
Yellow Card Stefan Bell
Zimling spreads the play excellently to Pospech out on the right. The right-back beats Durm to the header but is unable to get his cross in as the ball gets dangerously close to the byeline.
Grosskreutz joins the attack late and receives the ball on the edge of the box. He creates space to bend a shot at goal but he is unable to guide an effort inside the far post.
A great pass from Reis releases Okazaki but the Japanese again fails to prove clinical in the final third. Mainz could do with taking those sorts of chances today.
Weidenfeller and Sahin get there wires crossed and look like a couple of amateurs for a moment. They need to communicate far better in those sorts of areas or they risk giving away unnecessary corners and free kicks.
Polter feels he should be through one-on-one with Weidenfeller but the referee awards a free kick as he clambers over the back of Sokratis. The home fans aren't happy with that.
Dortmund are still looking rather blunt in possession despite those half-time changes. Their link-up play in the final third has been rather poot all afternoon.
Mainz have a great chance to put the ball into the box after Friedrich brought down Choupo-Moting, but Geis' delivery is awful and BVB deal with it capably.
SO CLOSE!! Almost the perfect introduction for Choupo-Moting as he dribbles inside from the left, beating Piszczek far too easily before loosing a right-footed effort at goal. It is always bending away from the centre, but it looks as though Weidenfeller got a hand to turn it behind. The referee, though, awards a goal kick.
Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting
Mainz get the second half underway.
Welcome back! The teams will be ready for the second half in a few moments and it looks as though Choupo-Moting will come on for Mainz, while Kehl and Mkhitaryan come on for BVB. That is all their subs used now!
HALF TIME - Mainz 0-0 Dortmund: Both sides hit the bar in the first half but Lewandowski arguably wasted the best chance of the game when he miscued from inside the area. The hosts have proved resilient so far, but can they keep that up and provide a sting in the tail in the second half? Join me in 10 minutes to find out.
45' + 2'
The referee blows his whistle for half time!
Just one minute of additional time to be played at the end of this half, but Park is currently down following a collision with his own player: Noveski.
WHAT A SAVE!! Aubameyang lashes a ferocious, dipping volley at goal and Karius leaps up and gets just enough on it to send it onto the bar. That was a truly stunning stop.
OFF THE BAR!! Aubameyang fails to track the run of Bell from a corner and the centre-back manages to glance a header across goal. He beats the keeper but the effort crashes back off the bar before being cleared away by the visitors.
Geis clips a great pass up from a central position, looking to send Muller in behind Piszczek. The Pole reads it well, though, and manages to get a foot to the ball to turn it behind for a corner.
The intensity in the game has really dropped off now so you get the sense that Mainz will be happy to go in at the break with the score the same. They will need to keep their concentration up, though, or they risk being undone by a moment of BVB brilliance.
Just wide! A big deflection off of Geis almost sees a shot from Reus loop over the keeper and drop in the far corner, however, the ball bounces just outside of the goal.
That is superb vision from Sahin, spotting Lewandowski's diagonal run across the defence and attempting to pick him out. Karius reads it though, and comes off his line to gather the ball.
Good interception from Durm! He manages to slide in and get an important foot to the ball as Okazaki looked to get in behind from Soto's pass. Great defending.
Aubameyang almost has a great opportunity to go through one-on-one but he is unable to bring Blaszczykowski's angled pass under control at the top of the box. His heavy touch means that possession runs all the way through to the keeper.
An early change for Dortmund here as Bender makes way for Sahin with just over 30 minutes played.
Dortmund are starting to dictate the game in terms of possession but they are finding it difficult to break through this stern Mainz defence. A clever flick from Aubameyang almost unlocks it, but he finds himself outnumbered on the near side.
Straight into the wall! It looked like Reus was attempting to whip that ball to the back post but he failed to get it over the first line of defence. His technique usually ends with deliveries of a far higher quality than that.
Free kick to BVB after some cracking football! Reus and Blaszczykowski combined excellently and the Pole was brought to ground by Geis as he flicked a pass into the path of Lewandowski. Great chance to break the deadlock here.
WHAT A CHANCE!! Reus comes in off for the left flank for the first time today and clips a brilliant pass over the top to Lewandowski. The Poland international controls excellently with his chest but completely shanks his effort off target. That is a let-off for the hosts.
Blaszczykowski is beaten by Park just inside the BVB half and he plays the ball out to Muller on the left. Muller attempts to switch the play but can only pick out a yellow shirt.
Friedrich is closed down by Zimling inside his own half and the loose ball falls for Okazaki. However, the Japanese is unable to make anything of it and the chance to counter evaporates.
Mainz have sat very deep when not in possession so far today, but when the visitors enter their half they close quickly and in numbers. So far the BVB forwards have struggled to link up and create anything of real worth.
SIDE NETTING! Good play from Tuchel's men as they work the ball from the right across to the near side. Soto glides past his marker and sends a low shot at the near post, but he fails to work the keeper and has to watch his attempt ripple the side of the goal.
ACROBATIC!! Park goes for a spectacular overhead kick inside the box but he puts it too close to Weidenfeller, and the keeper plucks the effort down with comfort. That would have been special.
Good combination play from Pospech and Polter on the right works space for the full-back to send a cross into the area. He drills a low ball to the near post but Sokratis clears behind.
A great ball from Piszczek nearly picks out Leandowski at the far post but Pospech just manages to get his head to the pass and send it behind for a corner.
Almost the perfect pass from Park there, bending a pass around the back of the defence for Muller but it was just a bit too fast for him and Weidenfeller was able to collect.
Aubameyang puts plenty of effort in down on the near side but he is unable to find a way past the Mainz defence and he ens up running the ball straight out of play. He did not get much support out on the right there.
ANOTHER GOOD EFFORT!! Dortmund fail to close down Geis, 30 yards from goal, and he thumps an effort at goal. Again, it bounces just in front of Weidenfeller but he drops to his right and parries the ball aside.
POSPECH!! The right-back comes forward for the first time today and he fires a shot from distance towards Weidenfeller's near post. In bounces just in front of the keeper and he can only spoon it up into the area to stop himself from spilling it. Fortunately, his defence manage to do the rest and get it away.
Friedrich gets his head on the delivery and gets enough on it to clear it away from the danger area. There was no Mainz player even challenging him in there.
That is a good turn by Polter! He switches on the speed and spins around Durm and the BVB left-back drags him to ground down by the corner flag. Dangerous free kick opportunity here...
Park has showed plenty of adventure from left-back for the hosts today. He is wasting no time in getting forward and looking to support the attackers in his team.
Mainz guilty of just a few too many aimless long balls in the opening stages. They are rushing themselves when in possession and BVB are finding it very easy to read.
Not the greatest of crosses from Piszczek there, curling a high ball over the top of the goal. He's been injured for a while though, so we will let him off for that one.
Soto wins possession from Lewandowski 30 yards from the Mainz goal and they instantly look to play it long to Okazaki. The Japanese appears to lose his footing and is unable to challenge Sokratis to the ball.
We are underway at the Coface Arena!
The teams are out on the pitch so kick off will be upon us in just a few moments.
Klopp spent his whole career as a player at Mainz, going on to spend seven years as coach before moving to Borussia Dortmund in 2008. It is fair to stay he is a rather loyal man.
STAT: Dortmund have won their previous three away games against Mainz, scoring at least two goals on each occasion.
BVB have lost two Bundesliga games on the trot and Klopp will be keen to put an end to that run today, despite returning to his former club in Mainz. Piszczek returns to the starting line-up, meaning Grosskreutz is pushed into midfield, while Sahin and Mkhitaryan are given a rest and start from the bench.
Dortmund bench: Langerak, Kirch, Kehl, Sahin, Mkhitaryan, Hofmann, Schieber.
Dortmund (4-2-3-1): Weidenfeller; Piszczek, Friedrich, Sokratis, Durm; Grosskreutz, Bender; Blaszczykowski, Aubameyang, Reus; Lewandowski.
Mainz bench: Mathenia, Svensson, Diaz, Saller, Moritz, Malli, Choupo-Moting.
Mainz (4-2-3-1): Karius; Pospech, Bell, Noveski, Park; Geis, Soto; Polter, Zimling, Muller; Okazaki.
Trips to Mainz are always potentially difficult to navigate, and Jurgen Klopp will be forced to line up today without three of his first-choice defenders. Marcel Schmelzer, Neven Subotic and Mats Hummels all miss out through injury. Full line-ups on the way now.
Hello and welcome to this afternoon's Bundesliga clash between Mainz and Borussia Dortmund at the Coface Arena. BVB will be eager for a win in order to at least keep pace with league leaders Bayern Munich, while the Oh-Fives, traditionally strong at home, will hope to remain as close to the European spots as possible. My name is Tom Webber and I will be guiding you through this match.
