Lorient turn up the heat on PSG as we enter the final stages. Pele and Traore combine once more, but PSG doing all they can to hold onto thsi lead.
GOAL! NO! It's OFFSIDE! Bryan Pele scores for Lorient. PSG's defence caught out at the back, and Pele springs forward, and slots low under Sirigu. But the referee chalks it off!

Lorient continuing to push, and they are aided by rising levels of support from the fans inside Moustoir. Nevertheless, they simply annot beat Sirigu at the moment.
PSG have only lost once away from home in Ligue 1 this season (Evian), and only three times since December 2012. Highly unlikely that Lorient will come back from this.
Poor pass in a really good position scuppers a promising Lorient move, and provides a path for PSG to counter with speed. Jallet loses the ball nonetheless, and it changes hands once more.
Aboubakar really has been off tonight. A fine passage of play from Lorient, originating from Jouffre. Lovely one-two passing, but Aboubakar decides to race into the box, and loses possession.
Kevin Monnet Paquet is upended by Christophe Jallet, and the Lorient winger goes off for a bit of treatment. He does look in some pain, but able to walk off unaided. Lorient briefly down to ten.
PSG looking to close this one out, as we approach the halfway mark of this second period. They have been well below par this evening, but Lorient are not offering a threat!

ALIADIERE! PSG defence is beaten with ease as Alex goes flying wildly into a challenge which he doesn't win. Aliadiere on the edge of the area attempts to curl one quick, but it goes over the bar.
The Swede has recovered, as Jallet makes a good run down the right, and picks out Lavezzi arriving in the middle before play breaks up and Lorient win a free-kick.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic goes down in the box after a heavy challenge but play goes on, with the referee dismissing his complaint. Ibra's still on the ground!
PSG have started this half strongly, as they attack down the flank through Cavani. Baca does well to intercept, but only to concede a throw-in.

Ibrahimovic drives forward and pings an effort from distance, but he is unable to beat Fabien Audard in the Lorient goal. That concludes the first half action.

PSG have been well below-par in this game, and are ahead thanks to a rather fortuitous, scrambled goal. Nevertheless, they do have 65% possession.
Oh, Maxwell with a horrible lapse in concentration as he fails to notice Aliadiere behind him, who dispossesses with a heavy touch. Fortunately for the left-back, the heavy touch ensures the ball goes out.

GOAL! FC Lorient 0-1 PSG - MOTTA! Ugly goal, but a beautiful build-up. Ibrahimovic with a flick up for the move to start, as Cavani picks out the Swede who shoots low. Audard makes an initial save, but it is rolling towards goal. Motta beats Ecuele Manga to the rebound and prods it home.
Verratti engineers another fine pass over the defence and into the path of Cavani, but once more, Audard races out to claim the ball.
Corner to PSG, drilled in towards the near post, as Lavezzi rises highest, but sends his header well wide.
AUDARD! Fantastic save from Cavani. Ibrahimovic drops deeper to start the move as Jallet whips in another cross from the right. Cavani, unmarked, and with a free header sees his effort bounce down before being pushed over by Audard.
Lorient going forward in numbers as they seek to stamp their authority in this game. Coutadeur in the middle picks out Monnet-Paquet on the left, but the move breaks down.
ALIADIERE!! Tipped over by Sirigu. But he was offside anyway. Corner is a dangerous one from the hosts, as the ball falls to Aliadiere, unmarked in the six yard box. Powers it towards goal, as the attentive Sirigu tips it over.
PSG forced into that change after heavy blow to the head for Thiago Silva, and he is replaced by Brazilian compatriot Alex, who could be vulnerable on the synthetic pitch.

Past the half-hour mark now, as Matuidi attempts to link with Maxwell on the left. Doucoure holds his own to deny progress as Lorient attack the other end.

22 minutes gone, and it remains Lorient 0-0 PSG. For what it's worth, les Merlus have lost just once at home in Ligue 1 since a defeat to Marseille, right at the end of September!
ALADIERE! The forward races onto a measured pass, into the penalty box, aiming to get into a decent shooting position. Thwarted by the tracking back of Marquinhos, who slides in expertly.
Christian Gourcuff watches on, and he must be very pleased with his side's superior start, as Verratti wins a free-kick after a foul from Alain Traore.
PSG taking their time to get used to Lorient's synthetic pitch at Moustoir. Unlike them to be so disjointed in the first half. They haven't troubled Audard at all.
JOUFFRE! Good save from Sirigu. Jouffre starts the move with a superb through ball that snakes down the width of the right flank allowing Aboubakar to give chase. He returns the pass, but Jouffre thwarted by the Italian.

Poor from Edinson Cavani. It opens up for Lavezzi, who does well to run at Lautoa. Picks out Cavani arriving from the right, but the Uruguayan sails his cross over the bar.
Aboubakar with a half-chance in the middle. Lorient's top scorer aims to latch onto a loose pass, having given Marquinhos and Thiago Silva the slip, but Sirigu claims.
Worth noting that PSG's next game, against OGC Nice at the Allianz Riviera has been set for next Friday at 19:30. The LFP have moved to change the time to allow PSG the best possible preparation for their quarter-final clash against Chelsea FC.

PSG slip into their rhythm of quick and effective passing, as Matuidi makes a break for it, attempting to get behind Doucoure, but the Lorient right-back is well aware of the threat.
Monnet-Paquet does well to advance on the left, and Lorient begin to consolidate possession by stretching the play forward. Forced back by Motta, as Jouffre finds Ecuele Manga.
Nice movement from Verratti and Lavezzi down the right flank, allowing Ibrahimovic to chase onto a measured pass into the penalty box. Lorient's defence holds out.

CONFIRMED TEAM NEWS:
Tonight pairs coaches Christian Gourcuff (father of Yoann), and Laurent Blanc together for the first time since their public spat last week. Gourcuff had lambasted Blanc for not being 'a real coach'. We'll see how they get on tonight.
Lorient meanwhile sit comfortably in mid-table, with 36 points. Only eight points from the drop zone, but also eight points from a European spot. They have a host of players out tonight.
PSG were drawn against Premier League leaders Chelsea in the pick of today's Champions League quarter-final draw. It will be an intriguing April for the capital side, where they will also play against Olympique Lyonnais in the Coupe de la Ligue final.
PSG can go 11 points clear of AS Monaco with victory tonight as a fourth Ligue 1 title comes into view. Monaco play third placed Lille on Sunday. The omens look good for les Parisiens, with just 24 points left to play for after this weekend.
Paris Saint-Germain have a good recent record at this stadium, with Lorient not winning this fixture since 2008, indeed, that was only one of two home successes against the side from the capital.
