And that will wrap it up from Poland as Legia get the win that they need to take them through to the Europa League at the expense of Sporting. Guilherme's goal did the damage for the home side, who improved the longer the game went on. And that's it for the Champions League group stages as well. See you in the knockout round.
M. Dąbrowski
M. Radović
Legia Warszawa
90' + 4' Dabrowski is brought on for Radovic.
90' + 2' OFFSIDE! Sporting thought for a second that they had found a way to break Legia hearts, but as Coates attacked a free-kick, the flag went up on the far side. Good decision.
90' Sporting are trying to throw men forward in a bid to get a late goal, but with a man disadvantage, they're leaving themselves like sitting ducks at the back. Had Radovic's pass been a foot shorter, then Patricio would have been in trouble on the latest Legia attack.
88' RADOVIC WITH A GREAT CHANCE! A quick free-kick catches the Sporting defence out, and the wide man nearly converts from close range, but Rui Patricio makes an excellent stop!
K. Hämäläinen
A. Prijović
Legia Warszawa
86' Prijovic has been magnificent tonight, and goes off to an ovation for Kasper Hamalainen.
William Carvalho
Yellow 2nd/RC
Sporting CP
85' CARVALHO IS SENT OFF! The Portuguese international gets his second yellow card in a matter of minutes, as he had a few tugs on the short of Odjidja-Ofoe, who did appear to make the most of that.
83' Kucharczyk misses the target! Legia execute a swift counter-attack that has the visiting side struggling, but the substitute, who was put in a great position, can't keep his composure to finsh!
M. Pazdan
Yellow Card
Legia Warszawa
81' Fifth yellow card in about 15 minutes, as Pazdan gets his name taken.
William Carvalho
Yellow Card
Sporting CP
81' ANOTHER yellow card as the referee decides to stand for no nonsense. Carvalho's challenge gets him in trouble.
M. Radović
Yellow Card
Legia Warszawa
79' Radovic is shown a card for persistent fouling.
79' SAVED BY MALARZ! Andre has been on the end of some interesting opportunities for the visitors, and he takes aim from distance, sending a tricky, dipping shot towards goal that the keeper pushes over.
77' A lovely pass opens up the Sporting defence, and appears to put Kucharczyk through on goa. He goes down under pressure from a defender as he fires his shot wide, but the referee is having none of it.
V. Odjidja-Ofoe
Yellow Card
Legia Warszawa
75' The referee barely put his card back before he whipped it out again to book Odjidja-Ofoe.
75' HOW HAS THAT NOT GONE IN? Gelson Martins is causing real problems for Legia out wide now, and an excellent run and low cross flashes towards the back post, where Andre fluffs his finish!
J. Rzeźniczak
Yellow Card
Legia Warszawa
74' Rzezniczak is shown a card for a bad foul.
72' SAVED BY THE KEEPER! Dost has not had a lot of service in the second half, so he tries to create something himself with a smart turn that opens up shooting space, but the keeper pushes it wide.
70' Sporting win a corner, but Bruno Cesar's delivery is headed off the mark by Coates. It was a good position for the defender, and he really needs to be doing better from there.
68' Prijovic has been drifting a lot to the left-hand side to get involved in play, and he's done a good job spotting the run of the wide player who moves infield to accommodate him whenever he does so.
André
M. Zeegelaar
Sporting CP
68' Andre de Souza has been called on to replace Zeegelaar.
65' Legia win a succession of corners, and Moulin misses the target after getting on the end of one of them. Less than half-hour to go now and the home side are still comfortably ahead.
63' Sporting come close to conceding a second as quick move sees Prijovic freed up for a shot, but Carvalho is back to get his body in the way. Another goal for Legia would surely wrap it up.
M. Kucharczyk
Guilherme
Legia Warszawa
62' Guilherme has been replaced by Michal Kucharczyk.
60' The longer the second half has gone on, the more secure Legia look in this game. Sporting haven't really had a chance on goal in the second half, and are starting to run out of ideas.
B. Ruiz
L. Marković
Sporting CP
58' Markovic is withdrawn, and on comes Bryan Ruiz.
Ricardo Esgaio
Paulo Oliveira
Sporting CP
58' Esgario is introduced for Paulo Oliveira.
Adrien Silva
Yellow Card
Sporting CP
56' PENALTY? Carvalho pulls the trigger and the ball clearly strikes the hand of Hlousek, who could do nothing to get it out of the way. Adrien Silva is incensed that Sporting did not get that decision, and is booked for dissent.
55' Sporting try to get something together with Adrien Silva, but the defence scrambles it away. The visitors keep them under pressure though, with the same player driving a low shot wide via a couple of deflections.
53' Legia launch their first sustained period of pressure in the second half, with Prijovic's back-heel failing to come off, before Guilherme races down the left, only to deliver a cross into the arms of the keeper.
50' Gelson Martins makes a late run that surprises Hlousek and catches the Legia left-back out of position. However, the Sporting winger fails to keep his stride going to prevent the ball from edging over the byline.
48' Sporting get right on the attack to begin the second half. They know that they need at least a goal to ensure their place in the Europa League. Legia are defending well so far, however.
46' We're underway again.
And that will do it for the first half, with Legia holding a vital 1-0 lead thanks to Guilherme's first-ever Champions League goal, putting them on track for the Europa League in the new year. The visitors were the better side initially but failed to make their dominance count. Restart is around the corner.
44' We've just probably seen one of the reasons why Markovic is playing in the Primeira Liga instead of the Premier League. Some silky touches gets him past two players, but he keeps his head down and loses the bal after overrunning it.
42' The impressive Prijovic spies an opening at the top of the box, and guides his body through before letting fly, but it's right at the keeper, who catches with confidence. Good move from the hosts.
42' Sporting have a man down, so the game is stopped to make sure that he's alright. The visitors have dropped off in the quality of their build-up and are now struggling to keep the ball out of their own half.
40' Bruno Cesar cracks an effort wide of the mark before down at the other end, Legia fail to capitalise on a decent free-kick chance to get the ball into the penalty area. Five minutes to go.
38' The tempo of the match has slowed down, which will suit the home side as they look to take this 1-0 lead into the half-time break, which is now only minutes away.
M. Kopczynski
Yellow Card
Legia Warszawa
36' Kopczynski commits his second bad challenge of the night, this time on Dost, and the referee shows him a yellow card.
36' Sporting beat Legia 2-0 in the reverse fixture in Portugal. They need to start applying themselves more in the final third because the home side's lead makes all their possession suddenly look toothless.
33' Well that goal came against the run of play, but it's the one that Legia need to take them into the Europa League group stages. Sporting are back down at the other end of the pitch, trying to respond.
A. Prijović
Assist
Legia Warszawa
30' Sporting simply haven't been able to handle him.
Guilherme
Goal
Legia Warszawa
30' LEGIA HAVE TAKEN THE LEAD! Prijovic is excellent once again, bursting to the byline and beating Ruben Semedo, before touching in a low cross towards Guilherme, who gets ahead of Oliveira to finish!
28' Bruno Cesar and Gelson Martins link down a vulnerable-looking Legia left flank, and they get the ball into Bas Dost near the penalty spot. The big striker has his back to goal, but ultimately, the visitors crowd him out with a trio of defenders.
26' SIDE NETTING! How close was that? Prijovic has been the most dangerous player on the pitch for the hosts, and he gets away from Ruben Semedo to stride into the box, but lifts his shot into the wrong side of the goal.
23' Remember that Sporting only need to avoid defeat to qualify for the Europa League. Legia need to win here - something they have not done in the Champions League group stages for 21 years.
21' Legia should be concerned with how little they've seen of the ball. It wouldn't be so bad if they were able to break every now and then, but Sporting are simply suffocating them at the moment.
19' Bruno Cesar runs over the ball and leaves it for Adrien Silva, who curls a decent effort on target, but Malarz gets his angles right and makes the save, keeping a hold of the ball to boot.
17' Bruno Cesar schemes at the top of the box, but is clipped by Michal Kopczynski, which presents the visiting side with a great opportunity from a free-kick. No booking for the Legia man though.
15' Legia have not been happy with some of the decisions by the officials that they feel have gone against them one too many times. Another narrow but correct offside denies Guilherme acres of space to run down the flank.
13' Not a whole lot happening out on the pitch as the home side continue to sit back and soak up the pressure, inviting the Portuguese visitors to probe around their 18-yard area in hopes of picking up scraps to launch a counter.
10' Lazar Markovic fires another shot in anger at the Legia goal, but this one is off the mark as well. Sporting have been in control of this game, and Malarz hasn't been the most confident figure in the home side's goal.
7' Prijovic has the ball in the back of the net after racing behind the defence to finish off Guilherme's sweeping cross, but he did that from an offside position, and realised mid-celebration that the flag was up.
5' Bruno Cesar makes inroads down the left-hand side, and gets a good cross into the six-yard area that Arkadiusz Malarz brushes his fingertips against. It falls only as far as Carvalho at the top of the box, but he again blasts the ball off target.
3' First shot in anger as William Carvalho hammers the ball into orbit. Decent start this from the visiting side, who are dominating possession early on and working the ball well to the flanks.
1' Off we go.
Paulo Oliveira and Lazar Markovic have been handed starts in the Sporting team, which is missing Joao Pereira due to suspension, while Luc Castaignos and Ezequiel Schelotto bide their time on the treatment table.
With a full squad to choose from, Legia coach Jacek Magiera names his strongest XI. Aleksandar Prijovic leads the line, with Guilherme providing support out wide. Adam Hlousek also passed a late fitness test and starts.
Sporting subs: Ruiz, Andre, Douglas, Elias, Beto, Esgaio, Pereira.
Sporting (4-4-2): Patricio; Paulo Oliveira, Coates, Ruben Semedo, Zeegelaar; Gelson Martins, William Carvalho, Adrien Silva, Bruno Cesar; Markovic, Dost.
Legia subs: Czerwinski, Dabrowski, Nikolics, Kucharczyk, Hamalainen, Broz, Cierzniak.
Legia (4-2-3-1): Malarz; Bereszynski, Rzezniczak, Pazdan, Hlousek; Moulin, Kopczynski; Guilherme, Odjidja-Ofoe, Radovic; Prijovic.
Legia have won their last four matches, which has moved them up to fourth place in the Ekstraklasa, seven points behind leaders Jagiellonia. Sporting trail Benfica by two points in the Primeira Liga.
It's quite simple for the hosts - win or bust. Sporting are two points ahead, and all they need to do is avoid defeat to secure entry into Europe's second-tier competition in the new year.
With Borussia Dortmund and Real Madrid wrapping up the top two places in Group F at a canter, these two teams are left to do battle on the final matchday for third spot and entry into the Europa League.
Hello and welcome to our live commentary of the Champions League clash between Legia and Sporting.
