And it is all over to a rapturous applause from the home side! Juventus 1-0 Inter. Matri's only goal on the half-hour is the difference, as Eto'o had a good chance to equalise. The win pushes the Bianconeri into sixth position.

Krasic tries to charge past Zanetti with a pass on the outside of the boot, but not quite on this occasion.

Sissoko had all the time in the world to put in a good cross, but he mistimes it, and Inter push forward.

Motta earns a yellow card for a late challenge on Barzagli.
Four minutes of injury time to be played. Can Juve hold on, or will Inter claim a draw and possibly a win?
Eto'o again has the chance to equalise, but can't time his left leg to connect with the ball.
WHAT A CHANCE FOR INTER TO EQUALISE! Pepe gives the ball away to Maicon, who charges forward. Gets the ball into the middle, as it runs to the back-post for Eto'o, but the Cameroonian hits the underside of the bar. Bouncing back, Chiellini gets in the way of Pazzini, who looked like also scoring.
Maicon protests and is given a yellow card.
Pepe pushes past Maicon down the flank, and gets a left-foot cross into Matri, whose first-time volley is only a whisker wide. Had he been fully-fit, it would have gone in as Julio Cesar was a statue.
Macion looks to take things into his own hands, and with several players in support, opts to fire from distance, pushing it across goal.
Juventus are happy to get the ball to Buffon in the form of a backpass, knowing that a long kick can see them get out of defence.
That was Buffon at his best. Patient as he waited to see what Sneijder would do. He chose to flick a poss over the defence for Eto'o, and the 'keeper charged them down, stopping their wonderful chance.
Sneijder looks to run at the Juventus defence, but Aquilani stops him in his tracks.
Here come Inter via Eto'o down the left, but Sorensen sticks his boot out and gets it away over the touchline.

First yellow card of the night, as Sissoko charges down Sneijder and gives away a free-kick.
Nagatomo tries to shove Aquilani off the ball, and a free-kick is given. The tempo has been slowed right down, with a lot of the pace being taken out of the match after the substitutes five minutes ago.
Matri keeps on holding his ribs, as Sorensen almost made a MASSIVE blunder. His slow backpass to Buffon almost allowed the sprinting Eto'o to get onto it.

The golf cart also comes out for Melo, as he is cramping up. But play resumes.
Cambiasso off, Nagatomo on.
Pepe on, Marchisio off.
Melo again looks to provide a ball for Krasic, but it has too much power on it. Would have been a good chance to score.
Melo tries to switch the play to Chiellini. but Maicon intercepts and pushes forward. The ball winds up with Eto'o who looks up and decides to fire at goal, but his shot is deflected out for a corner.
Matri is slow to get up. Might be tired, or hurt, as he his holding his chest.
Maicon's cross is cleared out of the box by Sorensen, but it goes straight to Sneijder, whose venomous shot is blocked by Barzagli and Bonucci, who positioned themselves well.
Melo finds Marchisio in some space. Tees up his shot, but drags his driving shot across goal.
Iaquinta on, Toni off.
Corner to Inter, as the ball swings in, Eto'o tries to header toward goal, but Ranocchia is offside.
Ranocchia gives the ball away to Krasic in a good position, who in turn lays it off to Chiellini. The defender crosses it in, but no good, and Inter look to counter.
Long clearances by both sides from defence, as they look to push forward whilst getting away from any pressure down back.
Kharja off, Pandev on.
Motta may have had the time to shoot on his left, but he slipped at the crucial time and couldn't quite connect properly.
Almost a worrying moment for Juve, as they panicked in defence, unable to properly clear on the two occasions they had. But they eventually do, despite Eto'o getting behind the defence.
Toni looked for a free-kick, but Inter look to counter through Sneijder. He is caught in two minds as to whether pass or go at it alone, but neither work for him on this occasion.
Offside against Pazzini, even if Sorensen got across to header a backpass to Buffon.
Eto'o took on Chiellini on the edge of the area, and somehow got a cross in, but Bonucci booted it away to safety.
Chiellini rises well from the corner, but can't direct his header on target, pushing it across goal. Close.
Matri has his second chance in two minutes, as it takes Maicon to come across and spoil the striker.
Matri...unmarked as Ranocchia jumped early, allowing the striker an open opportunity to replicate his goal from the first-half. Krasic's ball was to perfection.
Ball almost falls to Aquilani and Matri, but neither can stop Cordoba from booting it away to safety.
Chiellini's delivery was low, and to a group of three Inter players. Very rushed by the Italian international.
Sneijder's deep and long ball at the back-post couldn't find a team-mate on this occasion.
Maicon is allowed space on the right, and his whipped-in cross finds Pazzini rising well, but he can't direct it past Buffon, as the shot-stopper parries it away.
Chiellini looks to be inventive, and goes down rather easily on the left, but no free-kick.
Sorensen may have initially been out of position to begin with, but was able to strip the ball away from Eto'o and safely deliver it to Buffon.
Thiago Motta is down, holding his neck after copping an arm to the region by Kharja. He is receiving some treatment.
And here we go in the second-half.
The players are slowly making their way out of the dressing rooms for the second-half.

Krasic pushes Sneijder into the corner of the pitch, as the fourth official says only one minute of injury time to be played.
Buffon is up towards the half-way line as he cannot handle the fumes from the fireworks being let off in the stands.
Maicon takes on Chiellini and actually beats him, allowing a deep cross to be put in, looking for Kharja, but it is just too high for him.
Cambiasso makes a studs-up challenge on Matri, getting him in the foot, and he is hopping around. No card produced, but a free-kick given.
Krasic switches play out to Chellini who pushed forward, but he skewed his attempted cross.
Chiellini looks to deliver a ball into the middle, but has his shot blocked by Maicon.
Toni was off down the right, but he wanted Cordoba to get a yellow card for holding his shirt back. Earns a free-kick, though.
Matri gets away from Ranocchia on a rare occasion, but he can't quite deliver a good ball for Toni or Krasic, who provided support.
Ball driven in along the ground by Kharja on the right, but Pazzini goes to ground and can't quite get get a shot off.
Matri takes on Rannochia down the left, and Maicon comes to help out his team-mate, and ultimately dispossesses the striker.

Claims for handball in the box against Pazzini, as the Nerazzurri look to equalise proceedings.
Barzagli's hanging ball was going towards the penalty area, but Cordoba got into a good position to get it away.
Toni looks to push forward, but a strong challenge by Ranocchis stops him from progressing. And the referee says it was a fair tackle.
GOOOAAALLL! Juventus have opened the scoring! Krasic looked to go down the right, opts to lay it back for Sorensen, whose first-time cross finds Matri directly in front, and he headers past Julio Cesar and into the bottom-right corner. Juventus 1-0 Inter.
Offside against Maicon, as he almost tries to run onto a flick-over the defence.
Krasic finds Toni, who barges his way, shoving Cordoba at bay, but decided to push to his left rather than go forward, with the move dissipating.
Handball against Matri? He says it came off his face, the ref had other ideas.
Maicon slides in a cross into the six-yard box, but Buffon claims it.
Eto'o was given space by Barzagli, and he almost tapped it into his favour, but there was enough coverage in the Juve defence to header the ball back to Buffon.
Felipe Melo gets his shot charged down by Cambiasso, as Chellini's cross is chested down by Toni to Matri, who tapped it to the Brazilian.
Matri and Marchisio perform a 1-2 on the half-way line down the left, now leaving space for Chiellini to swing in an early ball for the pack of players in the middle, but headed away by Ranocchia.
Ball goes over the top of Matri, who tries to run onto the ball, but can't quite do something effective.
Both teams have now gotten into the match, having found their rhythms.
Krasic dispossesses Zanetti in a good position on the park, and sprints forward. Cordoba attempts to tackle the Serb, as he opts to go down the middle, and according to the ref, it is a good challenge, despite the fans wanting a free-kick.
Juve try to play some one-touch football down the mid-way line, but Thiago Motta had to spoil the party, giving away a free-kick, as the home side look for some momentum.
Melo's heavy challenge on Sneijder sees the Dutchman go down, but he quickly springs to his feet. The Brazilian welcomes the midfielder to the Olimpico in his own way.
Krasic looks to sprint past Zanetti, and does so, but getting to the bye-line, he can't quite put a quality ball into the middle.
Frantic start to the Derby d'italia, but we really haven't had a shot on target yet.

Aquilani's pop from 35 yards out from a standing start has Julio Cesar back-peddling, even though there was no curl and dip on his shot.
Toni attempts to chest down a long ball, but Corboda's speed means he can get it away to safety.
Maicon's arm goes across Chiellini's chest, as he goes down, but the ref thinks it is a fair ball.
Penalty is the call around the stadium,as Cordoba goes down with Matri, but referee Valeri doesn't see it that way.
Marchisio has time and space to run at the ball, as he slides a pass through to Toni. He in turn backheels a ball to Chiellini, who makes the run into the box, but his attempted pass is smothered.
Good positioning by Cordoba, who made up his position on Matri and cleared the danger, heading away.
Chiellini cuts inside onto his right foot, and from the edge of the area, delivers a good ball into the six-yard box for Toni, who rises but can't quite direct his header down. Good moment for the home side.
Maicon's early ball from the right comes off Chiellini's foot, and almost spills into Pazzini's lap, but no luck on this occasion.
Aquilani tries to shoot a pass forward for Matri in space, but the linesman holds his flag up for offside.
Juve are pressing well, and push Inter all the way back to their 'keeper, but it was only a ploy, as the Nerazzurri launch a move forward down the left through Sneijder, who tries to get it into the middle, but it is blocked.
Offside against Pazzini, as Cambiasso's deep ball sees the striker go too early.
Matri jostling with Ranocchia, as the bouncing ball goes beyond the two, but the striker can't quite get away from his marker.
Chance for Matri as he steps in and intercepts the ball on the left. Looking up, he sees Toni in the middle, but his attempt at getting it in goes for a corner.
Early mistake by Zanetti as he can't quite control the high ball, and gives away a throw-in his own half.
Ball almost broke through for Pazzini, as the Juve defence is stretched. Sorensen was left in an awkward position, as Sneijder was free, but his deft touch was deflected by the defender, and Barzagli closed down the former Samp man.
Matri was in a good position for an early drive on shot, but opted for the flick over the defence, hoping Toni would run onto it, but it didn't happen.

With Palermo and Roma losing, Juventus can climb back up the ladder into a Champions League spot, whilst Inter can keep the pressure on Milan, Lazio and Napoli.
