You can join me here for tomorrow's early game between Lecce and Milan and then I'll be commentating live on English sport networks around the world tomorrow night for Bologna - Lazio, you can also raise any points from the match with me @owenneilson on twitter. Juventus 2-2 Genoa. Brap.
Well that was quite a thriller all considered, Genoa did excellently to stay with Juventus, question marks over Storari's positioning for Caracciolo's equalizer. The door is now open for the five teams below Juventus to take top spot.
90' + 6'
Juve pushing for the goal as Pirlo tries to grab the glory from distance but his shot is sliced wide. Looks like another draw in Serie A after the six last week, but eight goals in the two today. Genoa with possession in the final minutes, but full time is up and whistles from the crowd at the 2-2 draw.
90' + 4'
Yellow Card Claudio Marchisio
90' + 3'
Yellow Card Miguel Veloso
90' + 3'
Caracciolo with the flick! Santa Maria! The corner comes in and the striker gets a flick on that just goes over the bar. Now that's a super sub. No Del Piero to be seen.
90' + 2'
Genoa with two corners but they go short with the second instead of trying to serve up Caracciolo. Incidentally that was his first goal for the club. Six minutes of added time. Jorquera!!! What a bullet and Storari finally shows what he can do putting the 25 yarder around the post.
Alessandro Del Piero
Mesto across the box!! What a chance, if Merkel had taken a chance that was 2-3!! Juventus who had the worst home defence in the league last season if memory serves, are creaking again. The great indignity for Del Piero coming on, can we even call him a super sub?
Assist Juraj Kucka
Goal Andrea Caracciolo
Goal!!!! The sucker punch!!! Caracciolo!!! Can you believe it? Long ball to the back post, knocked down to Caracciolo who dinks it over Storari. 2-2 and a blanket of hush quietens Juventus.
Nice to see Genoa pushing forward even though they're leaving space in behind for Juventus. Krasic coming on by the looks.
Liechsteiner tries to head the ball back to Storari from 35 yards but luckily doesn't make contact. That was asking for trouble. The Swiss defender tears up the right moments later to feed Matri who tries an audacious chip from the right but it goes well wide.
Another brilliant ball from Pirlo to Chiellini over-lapping, the cross is headed out for a corner that Genoa manage to clear.
Given away again to Vucinic but a poor touch as he breaks into the box narrows the angle for the shot. If Del Piero is sent on it should be for him.
Juve move the ball well up field and show their confidence in possession. Intriguing to see if Conte has what it takes to lead them to the Scudetto this season, and keep the gap between themselves and Milan.
If it's not Iain Dowie co-commentating on ESPN UK, I apologize to, otherwise he needs a heads up on Italian pronunciation. I don't think he's pronounced one name correctly yet.
Genoa struggling to get possession back off Juve in the last few minutes as we approach the final 15. The ball sticking in midfield as Malesani looks to make another change to snatch a point.
Pepe back on the field after some magical ice treatment... Did well to waste a minute of play there. Genoa need to keep the tempo high if they're going to get an equalizer. Don't forget Catania came from behind twice earlier today and Juve certainly would like a two goal buffer.
One of my biggest hates in Italian football. Pepe goes down holding his thigh and without the referee blowing the ball is kicked out. If he doesn't go off someone should get a yellow card.
Pirlo is in some form, beating players, thinking the game for his teammates. Wonderful performance from him, particularly in this second half.
Agnelli having a fag, Malesani making a change with Caracciolo coming on. Brescia's former hero, an indication of Genoa's tactics in the last 30 and Crossbar!! Merkel oh Merkel!! Whipped in from the right and a free header. Storari again looking like a child in his dad's wellies watches the ball clang the bar.
More plaudits for Pirlo, wonderful imagination from the mercurial midfielder. Vucinic with the initial pass and Matri is on a hattrick.
Assist Mirko Vučinić
Goal Alessandro Matri
Matri!!! 2-1 Juventus!! There's quality on the right, step over from Pirlo and it goes straight through to Matri 16 yards out and the striker strokes it home.
Estigarribia is again a nuisance on the left, constantly looking for Matri in the middle. Corner Juventus.....Free header!! Curse that nose!! Pulls away from his marker and he sends it two feet wide.
Nice pretty passing from Juve on the ground, moving it about sharply to create space and take it out of defence, but Genoa are keeping their composure well.
Dreadful set piece. So many teams are using the short corner now,but so often just gift possession away. Free-kick for Genoa from the left and Merkel!! Merkel! So close, a little flick and Storari has a sigh of relief as it drifts past the post. The keeper was beaten then.
Another strong start for Juventus but can they keep it up, or will they let Genoa back into it. Free-kick to Il Grifone on the right but comes to nothing as Matri draws another save and corner from Frey.
682 appearances for Del Piero, surely he must break 700 by the end of the season. Matri tries a header from 14 yards, but leaning back it loops over the bar.
If I had a monkey for every time I've read a tweet about Del Piero I could open a fairly one dimensional zoo. Del Piero to come on and get the winner? Would be nice.
Pirlo takes it as Vucinic has some magic water on the touchline and Oooo! Barzagli with a half chance as the ball breaks but it trickles to Frey. Del Piero salutes the crowd while warming up. An example this week of Juventus' polished exterior showing slight cracks.
Mesto goes sprinting down the right flank but dispossessed then Dainelli gets a yellow at the other end for nobbling Vucinic. Free-kick in a dangerous area to the left of the box.
Yellow Card Dario Dainelli
Ready to go again at the Juventus Arena. All to play for as we get underway again. I'm hoping Genoa keep taking the game to Juve where possible, while it's much the same for the home side.
Not one second of added time. Referee blows. Half-time.
Aiy Curumba! Mesto tries an overhead kick from 14 yards. It wasn't a half bad effort either, only a metre or so over. At the other end Frey claims a cross and on the merit of the play 1-1 is about fair.
I've got to say the acoustics in the stadium are noticeably better than other games so far this season around Italy. Vucinic really should have done better, while Pepe gets a bit physical with a shirt tug.
I'm sure there's some religious or spiritual significance to that braided crust on the back of Palacio's head, but I'm sure he could cut it off and sell it at auction. Danger in the Juventus box as the ball flashes across Storari... then Chance!! Vucinic latches on to a poor pass but fires straight at Frey.
Yellow Card Andrea Pirlo
Pirlo sends a gem up to split the defence looking for Pepe, but then he gets a yellow for tugging Merkel's shirt. Not so angelic now.
The Juventus faithful strike up a noisy but brief song as they look to go back in front. Excellent work by Genoa in response to the early onslaught.
Matri found in space at the back post by Estigarribia which is hard to spell at speed, but can't get the shot off. Juve responded well since the equalizer with Chiellini going to the by-line and pulling the ball back but claimed by Frey.
Assist Alexander Merkel
Goal Marco Rossi
Rossiiiiiii!!!! Malesani runs a hairy palm through his prodigious bouff!! Juventus 1-1 Genoa. Lovely cross in for Rossi and he heads down across Storari and into the corner.
An open first 30 minutes, attacking threat from both sides, some tasty tackles and horrific name pronunciation by the ESPN commentators. It's YouVentus, not JewVentus!
Yellow Card Rodrigo Palacio
Chiellini!! Leaps to head from the corner but maybe got some of that massive nose bone of his on the ball because it flies over the bar. Should have done better, but again Genoa's defending from corners was a little generous.
Driven by Jankovic who has some how appeared on the pitch, thanks very much ESPN for the formation. Space for Matri in the box...SHOT! Twisting and turning on the right of the box and Frey has to make a good save. Corner.
Genoa just stretching Juventus in midfield, balls coming in from left and right as they push men forward. The home side not looking especially secure at the back tonight as Genoa get a free-kick right on the edge of the box.
The way that Inter, Milan and a lesser extent Napoli have started the season, one feels this could a Scudetto on a plate for Juventus if they can hold it together for most of the season. In a lot of ways they should be disappointed if they can't, because it's their for the taking.
Mad Hair Malesani on the bench for Genoa. I'm thinking his hairdresser must get some extra business after the work he's doing with that bouffant. While other middle aged men are losing their hair, Alberto is growing a jungle on his head.
And after two early yellow cards; Genoa’s players have already picked up three red cards – a league-high.Chance for Genoa.
Between this and last season, Juvetus are unbeaten in seven games and have lost just one of their last 16 fixtures (against AC Milan back in March).
Marchisio was in metres of space and allowed to shoot, and there was no pressure on Matri as he made the crucial touch. Nightmare start for Genoa.
Yellow Card Giandomenico Mesto
Great reaction by Matri to get a toe on the ball and deflect it into the top of Frey's net. Poor defending from Genoa in not dealing with the corner that lead to the goal.
Assist Claudio Marchisio
Goal Alessandro Matri
Gooaaaallll. Alessandro Matri turns in Marchisio's shot and it's 1-0 Juventus and there's another yellow card in a maelstrom after the restart.
Seymour gets a yellow for a late slide on Estigarribia. Pirlo ready to take the free-kick......Oo.Tried to find Pepe deep in the box, looked like a certain training ground move but he missed it......GOAL!!!
Yellow Card F. Seymour
Palacio and his weird rat tail are still running about upfront for the visitors today. Five goals so far this season and he needs a goal.
Luca Antonelli runs fifty metres up the pitch and wins a corner, superb play from the left-back,beat three players on the way through and it's a second corner.
And we're off...Both playing in their home strip and an early ball in to Matri who's header loops up softly for Sebastian Frey.
It was a corner before with Moretti at the back post but it was a let off for Juventus, last stat as Juventus have a goal kick. Since March 2008, Juventus have failed to score at home just four times; every time they haven’t found the net, they have lost the game.
Juve looking fluent at the moment coming forward and it's another corner. Back to that Genoa chance in a minute. Chiellini almost getting on a high ball but Genoa come away with Palacio.
Referee is Andrea Romeo, shown 14 red cards in 61 games.Pictures of Del Piero on the bench after an interesting week for the Juve legend. About ready to go.
One change to that Jorquera starting up front alongside Palacio and they might need him to try and break Juventus' imposing record in this fixture. Absolutely packed Juventus Arena, and so it should be after all that went on to get it.
Emiliano Moretti replaces the suspended Kakha Kaladze in central defense, while Marco Rossi makes way for the incoming Giandomenico Mesto at right back. GENOA (4-4-2): Frey, Mesto, Dainelli, Moretti, Antonelli, Rossi, Seymour, Veloso, Merkel, Palacio, Jankovic.
Other changes are also seen on the flanks, as Milos Krasic and Eljero Elia have been dropped from the side, amid reports that coach Antonio Conte is unhappy with their form.
The starting formations next, with a side of injury news; Juventus has been dealt late injury blows to key performers Gianluigi Buffon and Arturo Vidal. (4-2-4): Storari, Lichtsteiner, Bonucci, Barzagli, Chiellini, Pirlo, Marchisio, Pepe, Matri, Vucinic, Estigarribia.
This also points to goals, though not so good if you're a fan of Il Grifone; Alberto Malesani's side have failed to keep a clean sheet in any of their last nine away games, losing seven on the road.
Also beefy, actually more spicy, and bodes well for goals in tonight's game; Juventus have scored in each of their last 16 meetings against Genoa, the last time they failed to score against the Old Lady was in May 1991.
This is a real beefy one; Genoa have suffered 53 defeats against Juventus in 88 meetings, more than against any other Serie A side.
Another must win game for Juventus if they're to keep grip on the top spot and their excellent start to the season. Now, let's get you filled up with some stats; Since 2007, when both teams returned to the top-flight, Juventus have won this fixture six times, with Genoa winning just once.
In the early game in Serie A Catania came from behind twice at Fiorentina to draw 2-2. If the Sicilians had won they would be joint leaders, but they're still in a healthy sixth spot.
