  • That's it from me, Luke Matthews tonight. I hope you have all enjoyed the late drama here. Juventus' hopes of Europe have been severely dashed while Catania may just beat the drop. Thank you and goodnight.
  • FULL-TIME! It ends 2-2 here in Turin and Juventus will be kicking themselves. Del Piero's first-half double looked to have Juve sailing to victory but credit to Catania who dug in deep. Gomez' close range effort gave the away side hope and Lodi's superb last-gasp free-kick earned the Sicilians a share of the spoils.

  • 83'
WHAT A WASTE FROM JUVE! The home team have three men against one as they approach the box. Krasic chooses to lay the ball to Pepe who takes the ball too wide in the box with his eventual shot being blocked by Capuano.

  • 78'
Decent cross into the box by Gomez which causes trouble amongst the Juve defence with Bergessio unable to get his shot at goal. Aquilani eventually clears the ball.

Pepe is about to be brought on by Del Neri. The winger is likley to replace Del Piero.
  • 71'
Time is running out now for Simeone's men who really are embroiled in a relegation battle, only one point clear of the relegation zone.
  • 68'
GOMES GOES CLOSE! The diminutive attacker hits a half volley from the edge of the box. His shot is parried by Buffon and Spolli smashes the rebound over the bar from three yards. A bad miss but luckily fro the defender, the linesman's flaf is up for offside to spare his blushes.

  • 61'
Del Neri's men are keeping possession very well at the moment. At this rate, they will be moving within a point of sixth-placed Roma.
  • 59'

We' re approaching the hour mark and Juventus are very much in control. Catania have been improved in the second half but look unlikley to score at the moment.

Catania get us back underway here. Both sides have made a substitute each. Sorensen is on at right-back for Juve while Catania have introduced another striker, Bergessio.
  • HALF-TIME! Juventus are 2-0 thanks to a double from Del Piero. The home side have definitely been the better side but both goals have been fortunate. The first was a controversial penalty decison with the seconding coming from a deflected shot. Can Catania get themselves back into this game? It looks unlikley but in football, anything can happen. Join us in 15 minutes for the second-half.

  • 44'
Juventus are in full control at the moment. Amazingly Ledesma is booked for a late lunge on Del Piero, the Catania players cannot get near the striker at the moment. He may be 36 but his mind is five seconds faster than anyone else on the pitch.

2-0 JUVENTUS! DEL PIERO SCORES A SECOND! Fortunate goal for the veteran. Krasic smashes a dangerous ball across the six-yard box which comes off Silvestre's leg before hitting Del Piero's chest and finding the back of the net. Not sure how much the striker knew about that.

  • 24'
Ricchiuti attempts to find Ledesma with a clever through ball but he fails to read the pass allowing Buffon to claim the ball. Could have been a decent chance for the away side there if Ledesma had been a little more alert.

  • 18'
PENALTY TO JUVENTUS! It looks very soft and on replay it's difficult to see what the penalty was given for. A potential shove on Melo by Capuano appears to be the crime here.
  • 18'
Unfortunately not for the home support. The ball cannons off the wall and out of play for a corner. Pressure building now.
  • 17'
Ledesma chops down Matri 25 yards out after the striker shows quick feet. Is this within range for Del Piero?

  • 10'
This one hasn't really got going yet. The home side look stronger but only that Marchisio effort so far.
  • 7'
GOOD CHANCE FROM MATRI! The on-loan striker loses his marker as Motta swings a precise cross Marchisio who controls well before trying his luck from 15 yards out. Andujar did very well to get down low to turn the ball around his post.
  • 5'

  • Hello and welcome to Goal.com's coverage of the Serie A fixture between Juventus and Catania. Luigi Del Neri's men have had a disappointing campaign considering the amount invested in the summer. They currently sit in seventh place, four points behind Roma who occupy the final Europa League spot. Victory tonight is imperative if Juve are going to qualify for Europe next season.
