Vidal has a great chance to net the winner too from De Ceglie's cross, but his free header loops well over! And so the game is brought to an end, as Juventus fail to capitalise on their early start and drop two precious points in the title race! Kudos to Cagliari... Be sure to stay with Goal.com for more breaking reports, player ratings and much more, plus build-up to tonight's Derby della Madonnina! I'm Livio Caferoglu, have a good one guys and gals. Arrivederci!
90' + 4'
UNBELIEVABLE!!!! Andrea Agnelli cannot believe what he's just seen, as Borriello finds Krasic with the perfect pass, but despite being on his own in the box, the Serb somehow skews his shot well wide! Terrible miss, and one which will not appease the frustrated Juve fans.
90' + 3'
A break is on for Juventus with Lichtsteiner, but it ends with a throw-in! Or so it seemed as Pirlo had another bite of the cherry.. but it's hacked away. Anywhere will do for Cagliari!
90' + 1'
Yellow CardDaniele Dessena
Pirlo's passing is also becoming wayward as his lobbed ball doesn't reach Lichtsteiner! A rather lacklustre half in all honesty, but that doesn't discount the first period which oozed with action... Oh and five minutes of injury time!
Krasic and Del Piero have disappointingly made little-to-no impact in their cameo appearances as of yet, but Cagliari's industrious performance is sure to be rewarded if things stay like this. The No.10's pulling of Ekdal's shirt says it all!
An appalling clearance from Ariaudo almost puts his team under the kosh, as a free-kick is then given to Juve moments later, but Pirlo's attempt is adjudged offside.
Vidal tumbles in the Cagliari box but Guida fends the shouts away once more. Desperate times from Juve!
AGONISINGLY CLOSE!!! Pirlo's beautifully-whipped in set-piece finds the free head of Del Piero, but his effort is right at Agazzi who instinctively gathers the ball! However, replays show he was offside... and benvenuti Marco Borriello, who comes on to a chorus of cheers!
12 minutes of play at Juventus Stadium left, in what has been an enthralling encounter so far! Don't be surprised if more fireworks are in store, as Ibarbo gives away a free kick near the edge of the box for Pirlo to strike...
MISSED OPPORTUNITY! But better for Juve.. De Ceglie rifles a shot at goal, and a huge deflection finds Vucinic who sneaks in from the left, but his attempt is wild as it soars over the cross bar. Should have at least tried to play a team-mate in!
Moestafa El Kabir
Canini is put under all kinds of pressure by Agostini, as he is forced to hack the ball near the corner flag with Krasic and co. on his trail!
Yellow CardAndrea Barzagli
Ariaudo's introduction also suggests that Cagliari look to settle for the point, as the ex-Juventus defender comes on to provide more coverage at the back. Larrivey should be pleased with his hardworking efforts today!
Krasic is now on, as Juventus appear to mean business.. but at the expense of Matri who has flattered to deceive!
A quiet few minutes, with nothing major to report on, as Pirlo runs a ball out for a throw-in, while Matri has no luck in finding Del Piero in the box.
Alessandro Del Piero
The Juve fans are attempting to spur their team on, as Lichtsteiner again pumps another ball into the danger zone. Meanwhile, Vucinic's elbow catches Dessena, and play is halted while the midfielder gets treatment.
Matri collects Pirlo's cross-field ball, but despite appearing to mishit his lay-off, he continues his run and does well to find Lichtsteiner, who darts down the right-hand side. However, Vidal and Vucinic collide in the air as their headed attempt from the full-back's cross is lost in translation.
Marchisio expresses his frustration with an excessive foul on Nainggolan, who has improved considerably since the restart! Juve must keep their cool first and foremost.
A nasty clash of heads between Nainggolan and Vidal, as both players had eyes firmly on the ball. However, it's the Cagliari man who looks more hurt out of the two, but fortunately they're both on their feet once more.
Krasic and Del Piero - two of last season's better performers but not prevalent this time round - are shown to be stretching. Could they be Conte's saviours?
Cagliari hit Juve on the counter once more, with Ibarbo the perpetrator, but again the move breaks down deep in the hosts' half.
@JuveMetalhead on Twitter says: "Just one thing they should focus more since cagliari aren't an easy team, they seem today like they aren't giving up, Juve should be aware!" - talk about calling fate! Thanks for your input.
Talk about self-destructing! Antonio Conte looks on in disbelief, as he now knows he needs to pull out an ace in the pack. Credit to Cagliari however for flying out of the blocks!
Yellow CardAlessandro Matri
Incredibile!!! Things are getting from bad to worse for Juventus, as Matri appears to have fallen over Pisano's leg in the box, but the striker receives a yellow card for a dive! Correct call by the ref, but shame on the hitman.
GOOOOOOAALLLLLLL!!!!!! Larrivey's lobbed pass ricochets off a clueless Bonucci, who leaves the ball to Ibarbo, before the Colombian lays the ball off to Cossu, who unleashes a powerful strike past Buffon for a shock start to the second half!
Again Cagliari haven't learned from their mistakes, as Cossu is easily dispossessed down the flank and Juventus move possession into the visitors half. However, Marchisio's pass cant quite find Vucinic. Close!
Welcome back folks, just in time! The second half is now underway, with no changes in personnel or system being made for both teams.
And referee Marco Guida blows his whstle to signal half-time! Catch us in 15 minutes for more LIVE coverage!
ANOTHER PENALTY SHOUT POSSIBLY? Cagliari hit back on the counter attack through Ibarbo, who slips Cossu through. However, it should be a penalty to the Sardinians as his strike clearly hits Pirlo on the hand, with the midfielder even raising his arm! The visitors will feel aggrieved.
Vidal has been sensational today! He finds Lichtsteiner with a pinpoint raking pass, but he cannot get the ball under control and it goes for a goal kick... despite the entire ball not crossing the line!
The final five minutes of the half is now approaching, as Juventus have generally dominated this contest so far. However, they could yet regret missing so many opportunities!
Yellow CardAndrea Cossu
Note to self - never give Pirlo too much space and time! He picks out a fabulous ball for Lichtsteiner to latch onto, and his cross meets Pepe's head, but can only aim for Agazzi! Should've done far better.
PENALTY POSSIBLY? Cagliari profit from a surprise piece of Pirlo play, as he concedes the ball on the edge of his own box, but Agostini's cross appears to have been blocked with Bonucci's arm! The referee dismisses Cagliari's shouts.
Vidal powers into a challenge brilliantly, and it almost initiates an attack! However, bar some uncertain heading from Canini and Astori, the ball does eventually end up with Agazzi.
Marchisio is getting fouled frequently by Ekdal and Nainggolan, who are struggling to get into the game. Cossu however is becoming more and more influential.
CLOSE!!! Any kind of strong contact would have been a goal, as Cossu's free kick meets Larrivey, but his header touches Bonucci, who almost scores an own goal!
Juventus' full-backs have been fantastic today - full of energy and invention, akin to Barcelona at times possibly. Their playing styles are the reason why Krasic and Elia can't get a game. Erstwhile, Marchisio is frustrated his foul on Ibarbo was penalised. Free kick to Cagliari.
Cagliari are trying to break through the stubborn Juve defence, but it ends with Dessena's speculative overhead kick which is well defended by De Ceglie.
OOOOOOOO! It's nearly 2-0 as Vidal is threaded through in visionary style by Marchisio, but Canini is there to slide the ball from his feet! The Chilean struggled to get the ball under control.
Agostini brings down Pepe unnecessarily down the flank, but it appears contact was minimal! Cheeky antics from the Juve winger so it seems. Meanwhile Lichtsteiner's - arguably the best player on the pitch with his constant darting runs - cross is saved by Agazzi.
Make that two... AND THEN AN EQUALISER! Nainggolan spreads the ball out superbly well to Cossu, who whips the ball in again, and Astori is close to finishing from close range!
Pirlo tries the Hollywood pass from around 30 yards out, as he lobs the ball into Matri's path, but the Cagliari 'keeper gathers the ball easily. However, straight after Ekdal unleashes a powerful strike at Buffon, but it's deflected for a corner.
Awfully cheap loss of possession from Ekdal, as the ball ends up with Pirlo, and then Vucinic who wins a free kick for Juve. De Ceglie's attempt is awkward for Agazzi, who parries over a corner!
Heavy pressure from Juventus, who have begun to dominate the match as the Cagliari midfield can't contain the likes of Vidal and Pirlo! Astori is forced to play the ball back to Agazzi, but it ends up out for a throw as the shot stopper has to clear his lines immediately.
Non-stop action here in Turin, as Agostini tries to look for an opening down the left, but his pass to Ibarbo is blocked off by the indomitable Lichtsteiner. Another free kick is awarded to the hosts as Barzagli is felled by Larrivey.
ANOTHER mistake! Dessena loses the ball to Matri, who is on hand to smash a shot at goal which goes just wide of the target!
Again I almost eat my words! Cossu almost threads through an inch-perfect pass to Ibarbo, but Barzagli does well to read the danger.
Cagliari win a free kick, after winning the ball off Juve yet again. This time it's Marchisio who's the guilty party, as he fouls Ekdal... But the set-piece proves futile. Cossu appears to be struggling against Pirlo in the battle of the playmakers so far.
Juventus haven't conceded for six hours now, since Daniele De Rossi's strike last month! Meanwhile, Matri is ruled offside for latching onto a raking pass from his side's own half.
I was just about to say that prior to the goal, Cagliari were showing an encouraging fighting spirit, as they were prepared to hit back their opponents at every opportunity! They were brutally picked apart, however, for the goal.
GOLACCIOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! Less than seven minutes in, and Juventus score a fine team goal! Lichtsteiner starts an attack down the right, before passing inside to Marchisio, who in turn rolls the ball through to the Swiss defender. Vucinic is then on hand to collect his team-mates low cross and tap into an empty net!
Juventus break once more, as Vidal tries to slip in Matri, but Astori vitally intercepts! Ibarbo proceeds to counter for Cagliari, but the ball returns to the hosts.
Juventus retain possession and aim to charge forward down the right with Matri and Pepe linking up, as the striker's cross finds Vucinic, but despite taking the ball down admirably, he can't wriggle his way into the box.
And the match is now underway! Juve go from right to left, with Cagliari playing in the opposite direction... And the first free kick of the game goes to the visitors.
A minute's silence now for the victims of the cruise liner tragedy which took the lives of three people.
The players are now flowing onto the field of play, as the atmosphere in Turin is reaching fever-pitch. Also expect a Claudio Marchisio contribution - the midfielder's scored in his past three home games!
As ever you can follow the match with me LIVE via Twitter @livmc! I'll be sure to post some of your comments as the game progresses.
It's a sell-out here at Juventus Stadium today, with a full house present to cheer their respective teams on!
Additionally, all eyes will be on Cagliari midfielder Radja Nainggolan. The Indo-Belgian has been linked with a potential move to Juventus Stadium, following an excellent first half to the campaign as the driving force behind the Sardinians' midfield!
With their arch-rivals set to lock horns later today, Juventus have a glorious chance to draw first blood in the race for the Serie A summit! And with Cagliari winning just two of their past 31 fixtures in Turin, it will be hard to see anything but a Bianconeri victory.
And the visitors Cagliari: Agazzi; Pisano, Canini, Astori, Agostini; Dessena, Ekdal, Nainggolan; Cossu; Larrivey, Ibarbo. Subs: Avramov, Ariaudo, Gozzi, Conti, Ceppelini, El Kabir, Thiago Ribeiro.
Juventus will look like this: Buffon; Lichtsteiner, Barzagli, Bonucci, De Ceglie; Vidal, Pirlo, Marchisio; Pepe, Matri, Vucinic. Subs: Storari, Sorensen, Marrone, Estigarribia, Krasic, Del Piero, Borriello.
Ciao everyone and welcome to the Serie A tussle between Juventus and Cagliari. Can the Old Lady extend their unbeaten run to 20 matches or will the Sardinians have something to say about that? I'm Livio Caferoglu and I'll be guiding you through the action! Team news will be up shortly.
