Possibly could have covered his far post a little better, but apart from the goal he conceded, he was rarely troubled by a team that managed just a single shot on target.
The ex-Santos man put in a solid shift for Inter and made one lung-bursting run down the right flank, albeit failing to break into the Trabzonspor box. Kept Alanzinho at bay for most of the game.
A typically all-action display from the Japan star, who was fantastic in his forays forward, powering shots at goal and crossing in balls frequently. Defensively he had a better second-half, as Serkan almost caught him napping in the first.
A very accomplished defensive performance from the young Italian, who read the game very well at times and showed impressive aerial ability.
Like Zanetti, he did little wrong from a defensive perspective, but unfortunately the back line were badly caught out for the only goal of the game.
The experienced Argentine was not particularly effective in supporting the team going forward, despite one opening when his touch was too heavy, but kept his passing neat and tidy.
As usual, he played efficiently, with dashes of industry and authority, but found it hard against Zokora and Colman, who showed greater mobility in the middle of the field.
The young Nigerian was a surprise selection, and he had a very difficult first 45 minutes, where he lacked confidence on the ball and failed to find any sort of rhythm. Replaced early in the second half by Milito.
His commitment to the cause cannot be questioned, but it was just one of those nights for the Dutch playmaker, as he saw almost none of his through passes prove successful, and his set-piece taking was horrible. Disappointing performance which lacked influence.
Marginally better than Pazzini, but had numerous shots at goal which failed to trouble Zengin. His movement was promisingly nimble, and also worked hard to win the ball back for his team.
Extremely poor performance from the Italy striker, who failed to create any sort of impact in attack, bar a couple of sniffs at the Trabzonspor goal, but also suffered from a lack of service. Replaced by Alvarez.
The goalkeeper played an important role in stopping the likes of Zarate and Milito throughout, and was a huge factor in his side's massive win.
The scorer of the winning goal with a finish of the highest quality, Celustka was also effective in carrying out his defensive duties, making frequent interceptions and helping keep his side's rearguard as watertight as ever.
Immense in the air and tough in the tackle, the defender formed a powerful defensive unit with his Czech counterpart at the back, where despite a couple of slip-ups, he was a very commanding figure.
Industrious performance from the Turk, who despite not hugging the touchline with his skill or vision, worked hard to support Glowacki down the left.
An overall solid game from the Slovak, displaying the will to power forward on occasions, whilst not neglecting his defensive responsibilities either.
The centre-back was not as solid as Kacar, as he was caught out a couple of times, but successfully recovered in the end.
A fantastic first half display, where he showed real grit, tenacity and a powerful engine. His impact was a little less energetic in the second, but his work on Sneijder was important in his team holding onto the win.
The Argentine was great in supporting Trabzonspor's attack, and impressed with his range of long and short passing. He was equally impressive off the ball too.
A quiet game from the Brazilian as he struggled to get loose change out of Jonathan down the left, and his impact was lacking. Replaced by Sapara in the second half.
Very good attacking display from the twin of the Real Madrid midfielder. Provided the assist for the visitors' goal and gave Lucio problems with his movement at times.
Better than his fellow Brazilian, although not by much, as he looked more dangerous in a central position alongside Altintop. Skilful, but failed to apply his technique efficiently.

Argentine looked clunky and lost in midfield. Bar a speculative effort, he offered hardly any kind of vision or passing range, and seemed hesitant on the ball in his short spell.
Enjoyed a very lively cameo where he won a couple of free kicks and showed agility on the ball.
The Argentine provided an outlet for Inter in the second 45, but missed two complete sitters by his high standards.

The ex-Ankaragucu man helped his side secure the victory with a classy performance from the bench, keeping the ball well and using it wisely. Almost assisted a second for Altintop, but his pass was nabbed by Jonathan.
Wasn't on long enough to create a lasting impact for his team.
- 32 Paweł Brożek
A late cameo from the burly striker.
