G. Defrel 30'
FULL TIME! Inter drop two points at home, with Mancini's men unable to complete the turnaround in the second half! Defrel opened the scoring for the visitors, but Palacio was on hand to equalise for the Nerazzurri. The hosts had their fair share of chances, but relegation strugglers Cesena held firm in a 1-1 draw. That's all we have time for from Serie A, I've been Simon Harrison and I hope to see you again next time!
90' + 3'
Carbonero breaks down the right, but Palacio tracks back well to intervene and rob the Colombian of the ball. The Argentine is involved again moments later, picking out Podolski on the edge of the area, but the former Arsenal man sees a shot deflected behind for a corner.
90' + 1'
We're into the first of three minutes of stoppage time.
No penalty for Cesena! Alejandro breaks into the box, but goes down after appearing to be tripped! The referee is immediately on the scene and doesn't hesitate about waving play on.
Good block from Ranocchia! Pulzetti is fed in behind Inter's lines by Carbonero, but the substitute is pressured heavily by the Italy international. He tries his luck from a very tight angle, but the ball zips beyond the far upright due to a deflection.
Cesena are getting deeper as the minutes tick by, with plenty of white shirts roaming around in search of the ball. Guarin breaks down the right before angling in a cross, but Icardi can only stoop to head the ball high and wide of the target! Terrible header!
Massive chance for Inter! D'Ambrosio breaks down the right-hand side, before firing in a low cross that Leali is able to claim after some pinball deep in the penalty area. Podolski just hasn't quite had the rub of the green since coming on.
We're into the last 10 minutes in Milan, with Cesena extremely close to securing what would be a valuable point. Icardi is fed the ball inside the opposition penalty area, but the Argentine is denied by a sliding tackle and Inter merely win themselves a corner. It is swung in, but easily cleared.
Di Carlo makes two changes, with Cascione and Alejandro introduced for the final 10 minutes. A fresh striker could lead to Cesena being able to exploit any late mistakes from Mancini's men. The Nerazzurri win themselves a corner, but Leali is brave enough to claim ahead of a hurtling Andreolli.
Cesena haven't had any chances in the second half, with the away side sitting back and inviting on some late pressure. Duric and Defrel haven't seen much of the ball this side of half time, with Inter pushing plenty of black and blue shirts forward. Podolski's recent miss could be rather glaring at the full-time whistle!
Huge chance for Podolski! The Germany international is nearly picked out on the edge of the six-yard, but isn't able to make contact with a driven cross! Pulzetti is introduced for the visitors, with the substitute earning himself a free kick immediately after a bright run.
Giuseppe De Feudis
Magnusson shoots from 30 yards out, but the Icelandic left-back lofts the ball over the crossbar. Moments later, De Feudis is withdrawn for the visitors, as Di Carlo tries to inspire his side to a result. Inter have a few chances in quick succession, with Icardi firing narrowly wide after being teed up by Palacio.
We're into the final 20 minutes at Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, with the Nerazzurri desperately pressing forward in search of a winning goal. Di Carlo is readying some substitutes, with Cesena in need of some additional fresh legs.
Mudingayi is left in a heap on the floor after colliding with Kovacic, with the former Inter man winded but fine to continue. Giorgi and Carbonero combine brilliantly down the right-hand side, but the latter is unable to deliver a telling cross from the byline.
Guarin drives down the right-hand side at pace, but Mudingayi covers across to put the ball out for a throw in. Moments later, D'Ambrosio overlaps, but fires a low shot way wide of the near upright.
Kovacic manages to move the ball out to the right-hand side, before a cross is clipped into the box for Icardi to meet! The Argentine forward gets his forehead to the delivery, but Leali is easily able to get across and make a simple catch.
Santon and D'Ambrosio have been able to press upfield fairly freely, with Inter leading the charge in the second half. The Nerazzurri are continuing to have the lion's share of possession, but Leali remains a relative spectator.
Inter have less than half an hour to turn this one around, with the Nerazzurri needing to pick up maximum points on home soil in order to make their way towards European football. Cesena, meanwhile, are in desperate need of some points to close the gap between themselves and safety.
D'Ambrosio tries to break into the penalty area by driving to the right byline, but Magnusson makes a brilliant sliding tackle! Inter are piling on plenty of pressure, but Leali is yet to really be tested. Santon replaces Dodo due to the Brazilian taking a knock.
Defrel tries to breaks in behind the Cesena back four, but Ranocchia gets across well to make a covering tackle. Dodo makes his way over to the hosts' bench, as the Brazilian appears to have some kind of muscle complaint. Inter are down to 10 for the moment.
Inter strike the post! Podolski unleashes a great left-footed effort, which bends onto the inside of the upright, before bouncing clear of danger with Leali flummoxed! Moments later, Ranocchia and Carbonero clash after a poor tackle from the former, with the Colombian midfielder getting away with a little headbutt on the Italy international.
Inter are looking much better this side of half time, moving the ball with much more urgency in the final third. The introduction of Podolski in place of Kuzmanovic has given Cesena much more to think about, with only Defrel having the odd foray forward for the visitors.
Duric breaks into the penalty area and attempts to sidestep the goalkeeper, but Handanovic comes out on top! The Slovenia international makes a brilliant save, denying the visitors the opportunity to re-take the lead.
Inter have another opportunity immediately, with D'Ambrosio and Icardi combining to win the Nerazzurri a corner. It is taken short, before being worked into the penalty area again, where Dodo asks for a penalty.
Assist Mauro Icardi
Goal Rodrigo Palacio
GOOOOOOOOAL! PALACIO EQUALISES FOR THE HOSTS! Di Carlo has his head in his hands, after Icardi managed to wriggle free down the right-hand side. The Argentine picks out his compatriot with an intelligent cross, which is guided home nicely at the near post.
Cesena immediately have a chance at the start of the second half, with a long ball into the penalty area being knocked behind by D'Ambrosio. The corner comes to nothing, but warning bells are already ringing for the Nerazzurri. Kovacic then sees a goal from an overhead kick ruled out.
We are underway in the second half at Estadio Giuseppe Meazza! The hosts are behind as it stands, with Cesena set to grab three points that would be vital in their relegation struggle.
HALF TIME! Cesena head into their dressing room at the interval with a one-goal lead, courtesy of a delicate finish from Defrel. The away side have played well on the counter, with the Nerazzurri labouring heavily in front of goal. Guarin is the only person who looks likely to score for the home side.
45' + 1'
Yellow Card Andrea Ranocchia
Defrel chops inside from the right and curls a terrible effort high and wide of the target. Ranocchia makes a wild tackle, diving into an awful attempt to win possession from Magnusson, but Cesena waste the resulting free kick. There is merely one minute of stoppage time.
Inter's run of three matches without victory isn't looking likely to end tonight, as the hosts continue to labour offensively. Even before Shaqiri's substitution, the Nerazzurri failed to create any reasonable chances, with Mancini perhaps already thinking of changes to make at the break.
Medel is pushed to the ground in the centre of the park, as Cesena break up the flow of the game. The visitors have only had a couple of chances, but have vitally made them count. Icardi, meanwhile, continues to get terrible service.
The Nerazzurri continue to maintain their constant pressure, but Cesena are holding firm. Dodo tries to break down the left, but the Brazilian left-back runs the ball accidentally out of play, which pretty much sums up Inter's offensive luck thus far.
Inter win themselves a free kick and an opportunity to load the box, but play is pulled back after a flick on caught Palacio offside. The hosts are continuing to have the majority of the ball, but they haven't been too wise in their use of it. Guarin is taking the responsibility of trying to create something out of nothing.
A long ball is pumped into the box in search of Icardi, but Leali is alert to the danger and claims ahead of the Argentine striker. Inter haven't quite been able to find the cutting edge required to break into the Cesena penalty box, despite Dodo contributing a few teasing crosses. The visitors are dropping ever deeper.
Narrowly over 10 minutes are left on the clock in the first half, with frustrations rising! Guarin tries his luck from 30 yards out, but the Colombian's curling effort cracks off the outside of the upright and heads behind for a goal kick.
Cesena's gameplan is causing a few issues, with Ranocchia and Andreolli being rather easily exposed in one-on-one footraces against the visiting strikers. The physically imposing figure of Duric is also proving to be a handful for Andreolli. Inter break down the left, with Dodo whipping a low cross into the box that Palacio can't make contact with.
Assist Carlos Carbonero
Goal Gregorie Defrel
GOOOOOOOOOOAL! The opening half an hour has belonged to Inter, with Mancini's men seeing the majority of the ball. Guarin tries to drive from deep with the ball, but is robbed, sparking a break. Defrel is released in behind the back four, before lifting a gorgeous finish over Handanovic and into the back of the net!
Kovacic tries to clip a cross in from the left-hand side, but it is easily cut out, before Palacio is outmuscled while in possession moments later. The newly promoted side look to counter through De Feudis, but Medel is once again penalised for making a cynical foul.
Yellow Card Gregorie Defrel
Magnusson goes down heavily after a clash with D'Ambrosio, but the Icelandic defender quickly gets back to his feet. This game has been at a fairly high pace thus far, with both sides looking to transition upfield as quickly as possible.
Shaqiri is withdrawn for the home side, with Kovacic thrown into the fray in the number 10 role. The Croatia international might be a more natural fit, but the man he is replacing in a constant menace whenever he takes control of the ball. That's an early blow for the Nerazzurri.
Carbanero gets hold of the ball at the edge of the box, but can only send his shot off target. The visitors then win a free kick 30 yards from goal, which Ranocchia rises well to head away from danger. Cesena muster up a second ball into the box that the Italy international deals with again, before making a good block.
Kuzmanovic goes down heavily under a challenge from Mudingayi, with the Serbian midfielder needing a bit of treatment as a result. The hosts break down the right, before Guarin whips a cross in, but Icardi and Palacio fail to combine within the box! Inter continue to have the early pressure.
D'Ambrosio cuts inside from the right, but the former Torino man's attempted shot curls wide of the target. Moments earlier, Andreolli tangled with Duric inside the penalty area, but the referee didn't deem the challenge worthy of a foul. Magnusson shoots high and wide of the target from the next passage of play.
Inter have another half chance, this time with Shaqiri winning a corner on the left-hand side. The set piece is taken short, with Palacio shooting from a ridiculous angle, meaning that the ball nestles in Leali's side netting.
Kuzmanovic turns a header goalwards after being picked out brilliantly by Guarin, but the Serbian midfielder can only guide the ball wide of the target! He has his head in his hands, he knows he should have done better with that.
Big chance for Guarin! Dodo curls a ball in from the left-hand side, which skips off the turf and finds its way into the path of the Colombia international! He can't quite make contact under pressure from Magnusson.
Dodo breaks down the right and combines well with Kuzmanovic, before the Brazilian drives to the byline and sees a cross easily dealt with. Cesena then break, but Medel commits a cynical foul to halt the attack in its tracks.
Palacio is bundled to the floor, with the diminutive striker getting a fair amount of service early on. The former Boca man is also almost found by a ball into the box moments later, but Krajnc is alert to the danger and intercepts.
Krajnc covers across well to tackle Palacio, after the Argentine forward turned his man well and drove into the penalty area. Inter have seen much more of the ball in the opening stages, with the visitors happy to sit back slightly and keep their shape.
Cesena try to break down the right-hand side, but Perico is denied by Ranocchia. The hosts counter, with Shaqiri cutting in from the flank, but a bending strike from the Switzerland international floats wide of the left-hand upright.
Inter see the majority of possession in the opening minutes, but Cesena win themselves a free kick 35 yards from goal. The delivery is looped into the box, but Dodo is about to hook away a timely clearance. Gary Medel is essentially dropping in as a third central defender, allowing for Inter's full-backs to get wide.

The visitors have plenty of injury concerns, with the likes of Marilungo, Tabanelli, Ze Eduardo and Yabre missing out for the relegation battlers.

The hosts have the likes of Mateo Kovacic and Lukas Podolski on the bench, while Samir Handanovic comes back in between the posts for Juan Carrizo.
I'm Simon Harrison and I will be keeping you up to date with all of the action from Milan, as the hosts look to maintain reasonable form on home soil. Inter suffered a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Fiorentina in their most recent game at Estadio Giuseppe Meazza, something that they will be looking to bounce back from tonight as the Nerazzurri try and catch up with the Europa League pack. Cesena, meanwhile, need three points to push themselves towards safety.
Hello and welcome to live coverage of Cesena's trip to Estadio Giuseppe Meazza, as the newly promoted side travel to face Roberto Mancini's Inter. The hosts are winless in three competitive matches and will attempt to raise their spirits after a 3-1 Europa League defeat in the week. The visitors, meanwhile, come into this clash after picking up four points against Udinese and Palermo in their most recent Serie A fixtures.
