M. Gómez 38'
And that's that! It's hardly been a classic, but Bayern claim their 11th away win of the Bundesliga season and go 17 points clear again.
90' + 2'
Bayern are camped outside the Hoffe box, happy to keep the ball and keep the score as it is.
90' + 1'
And we're going to have three minutes of injury time here.
What a shot!! Ribery dribbles across the face of goal and feeds Alaba, who unleashes a ferocious effort, but Gomes is equal to it.
Bayern have a corner after Vestergaard dribbled it out of play. Will we see a second goal?
Bayern are starting to put more men forward, oddly. 1899 can counter, but Dante & Co. have looked very secure.
Yellow Card Eren Derdiyok
MANDZUKIC!!! Lahm digs out a cross from the right and finds the Croat, but his effort goes just over.
Schweinsteiger is desperately unlucky there. Both free kicks were brilliantly struck, and deserved to fly in. As it is, though, 1899 are still going.
Schweinsteiger takes the free kick again, and once again sees his effort fly off the post.
Vestergaard stands in Ribery's way on the edge of the box and concedes a free kick about a foot outside the Hoffenheim area.
So, we're edging towards the conclusion of this match. Can Bayern put it out of sight, or can Hoffenheim stage a late comeback?
Muller darts in from the right and tries to slip it to Gomez, but Gomes gets out well and claims the ball at the striker's feet.
OFF THE BAR!! Schweinsteiger steps up to take the free kick and bends one, but it strikes the woodwork!
Yellow Card Stephan Schröck
Ribery strides forward down the left and is dragged down just outside the box...
Great save! Schrock finds some space in the area and shoots, but Starke makes a fine stop to deny him!
Just as in the first half, Hoffenheim's promising start to the second period has tailed off, and Bayern are keeping possession steadily and dealing with anything 1899 throw at them.
And Bayern have made a change - Luiz Gustavo returns to his former home, replacing Shaqiri. Odd change from Heynckes.
Lahm plays a one-two with Muller and has a shot blocked by a defender, and Gomes gets across and claims the loose ball from Shaqiri.
Firmino charges forward and unleashes an effort, but Dante gets in the way of it.
Gomes comes off his line and makes a fine catch. He has looked fairly secure between the sticks all afternoon, though Bayern have not really troubled him.
Shaqiri finds himself in space once again and has Gomez for support, but puts in a dreadful ball. He's looked off the boil all day.
Firmino sends one in from the left which Lahm duly puts out for corner.
Shaqiri sends in a free kick which Gomes fails to deal with, but Mario Gomez was adjudged to have fouled the Brazilian keeper.
Yellow Card Daniel Williams
Johnson has unfortunate slip on the edge of the box and Gomez and Shaqiri try to capitalise, but the referee pulls back play for a foul on the American.
Shaqiri swings in a corner from the right, but his delivery is overhit and Hoffenheim clear.
Another decent moment from the hosts as Weis looks to run onto a through-ball, but Boateng gets across and clears it away.
CHANCE!! Hoffenheim go down the right and put in a decent delivery which evades everyone, apart from Lahm, who sweeps it away.
Much of the same so far. Ochs concedes a free kick with a fairly ugly free tackle on Ribery.
And we're back! Can Bayern claim their 11th away with of the season? Stay tuned to find out.
So, can Bayern kick on and claim a convincing victory, or will Hoffenheim muster a comeback and grab an unlikely point or three? The teams are back out, and we're almost back under way.
And that's half-time. Bayern have their lead at the break without having to get out of first gear. Hoffenheim have performed fairly well, but it hasn't been enough.
45' + 1'
And Alaba smashes it well over the bar. Poor effort - he should have let Schweinsteiger take it!
Volland trips Schweinsteiger 35 yards from goal, and the visitors have one last chance to extend their lead before the break.
On the balance of play, I suppose Bayern deserve their lead, but it's hardly been a vintage performance from the Bavarians. Hoffenheim have stood firm for the most part, but Gomez's goal was very well taken.
Shaqiri gets a shot away from 20-odd yards, but it flies wide via a deflection, according to the referee.
GREAT SAVE!! Muller plays it to Lahm, who takes a pop from the angle, but Gomes beats it out and the ball falls just behind the looming Ribery. It could have been two!
Assist Franck Ribéry
Goal M. Gómez
GOAL!!! Bayern have the lead! Boateng lifts it over the top to Ribery, who heads it into Gomez's path, and the former Stuttgart star taps it past Gomes and into the net, despite Abraham's best efforts.
CHANCE! Muller swings one in from the right and finds Gomez, who wriggles clear of his man, but fails to make meaningful contact on the ball. Great opportunity to open the scoring.
Ochs gets down the right well and puts in a good cross, but Dante heads it away.
It must be said, 1899 have defended surprisingly well. For the most part, they've been a calamity at the back this season, but they've done a superb job of keeping the likes of Muller, Ribery and Gomez quiet, which not many sides do.
Chance! Alaba finds himself in space down the left and tries to drive one across the face of goal, but Gomes stops it with ease.
Hofffenheim, meanwhile, have trailed off after a fairly encouraging start. Bayern are dominating possession, but the openings just aren't coming.
We're halfway through the game here, and it's been a slightly lethargic performance from Bayern so far. Perhaps they exerted themselves against Dortmund a little much, and are now a touch tired.
Shaqiri runs at the 1899 defence and plays it out to Muller, whose cross is poor, despite being in a good position.
Muller tries to play a cute back-heel inside the Hoffenheim box, but the defence seize upon the ball and scramble it away.
Gomes comes out and claims the ball brillantly, and throws it out to Schrock, who fails to make anything of the chance to counterattack.
Fabian Johnson makes an awful attempt to dispossess Muller, and Shaqiri has the chance to swing one into the mix.
Patrick Ochs swings in another free kick after a clumsy tackle from Martinez and Dante stands firm to keep his former Gladbach team-mate De Camargo away from the ball.
The hosts get forward again, and Williams fires just wide from distance. Somehow, Hoffenheim have had the lion's share of the chances...
At the other end, Bayern break and Gomez slips it to Muller, who produces a poor cross which is easily cleared.
Another great chance! Usami ghosts through the Bayern defence and pulls it back for De Camargo, who rounds Starke, but can't apply the finish.
What a chance! The free kick makes it through everyone in the Bayern defence and Williams volleys wide. Great chance for the visitors.
Yellow Card Jerome Boateng
Jerome Boateng picks up the first booking of an afternoon for a late tackle on Volland, and 1899 have the chance to swing one in.
Lahm picks out Shaqiri, who does well just inside the Hoffenheim box, but he is soon crowded out.
Shaqiri tries a dart down the right, but is well tackled. It's a big chance for the Swiss youngster to impress here today.
And we've had our first shot of the match. Williams fouls Muller about 25 yards from goal, but Schweinsteiger's free kick is pushed around the post by Gomes. Javi Martinez heads the resulting corner over.
Vestergaard is in action yet again - this time he is shoved by Muller as the Germany international looks to chase down the ball.
Bayern find space down the right again, and Vestergaard clears another cross; this time from Ribery.
Muller and Lahm play a cute one-two on the right, but the captain's cross is cleared by Vestergaard as far as Martinez, who fires over, needlessly.
Gomes beats Gomez to a fairly team back pass. The former Tottenham goalkeeper really has a big task on his hands this afternoon.
Hoffenheim swing in an early free kick, which Bayern clear very easily. The visitors have already looked dangerous down the left.
And we're off! Hoffenheim get the game under way, but immediately concede possession.
The teams are out and we're almost ready to go. What are your predictions? Get in touch with me on Twitter (@eniskoylu)!
BAYERN: Starke; Lahm, Boateng, Dante, Alaba; Martinez, Schweinsteiger; Muller, Shaqiri, Ribery; Gomez
HOFFENHEIM: Gomes; Abraham, Ochs, Johnson, Vestergaard; Weis, Williams; Schrock, Volland, Usami; De Camargo
The teams are in, and Bayern have handed a start to Tom Starke, who is returning to his old home.
Hoffenheim, meanwhile are sinking like a stone, and have fallen into the drop zone. Relegation rivals Augsburg got three points yesterday against Stuttgart, so they know a shock win here is absolutely necessary.
The Bavarians are fresh from a pair of impressive wins, and are striding towards the Bundesliga title, and will be eager to open up a 17-point gap over second-placed Borussia Dortmund.
Good afternoon and welcome to Goal.com's LIVE coverage of Bayern Munich's trip to Hoffenheim.
