Bayern really were just in inspired form today, there was little Hannover could do! I've been Simon Harrison, and I hope to see you all again next time!
I hope that you've enjoyed Goal.com's LIVE coverage of Bayern's 6-1 away thrashing of Hannover, as Gomez and Pizarro proved too much for the home side to handle, and the champions continue their tremendous away record.
Goals from Ribery, two from Gomez, two from Pizarro and an own goal at the expense of Stindl were enough for the visitors - despite a late consolation goal from Hoffmann.
Jupp Heynckes will be delighted that his team can continue to carry momentum towards their Champions League clash with Barcelona, however Slomka will wonder why his side didn't even come out fighting!
But no! Full time! The referee decides to blow the whistle dead on 90 minutes to end the humiliation! Bayern win 6-1, exerted dominance throughout, and again show why they are already crowned Bundesliga champions!
There might be quite a bit of stoppage time here, as there has been plenty of substitutions and treatment in this second half. I don't think that Hannover really want any though!
Yellow Card Jerome Boateng
CHANCE! A Hannover free-kick is whipped in, but Tymoshschuk clears away with his head! Neuer still looks a disappointed man!
Assist Arjen Robben
Goal Claudio Pizarro
GOOOOAL! PIZARRO! Almost straight from kick-off, the ball finds it's way through to Pizarro thanks to Robben, he takes the ball past Zieler and taps it home from a tight angle!
Goal Andre Hoffmann
GOOOOAL! The home side pull one back from the free kick! Pander's delivery proved too hot to handle, and Neuer drops the ball at the head of Hoffmann, who nods home!
Schlaudraff wins a free-kick for the home side on the edge of the area, after the referee adjudged Boateng to block off the Hannover man.
Robben and then Shaqiri dance their way through several challenges, before Sakai puts an end to the Swiss run. The Japanese full-back has been solid since coming on, he's certainly made a difference.
Mame Biram Diouf
Hannover look resigned to defeat, but Bayern look composed and ready to see out the remaining minutes. I know that I may have implied this a lot, but the gulf in quality here has been absolutely huge.
Diouf is back on his feet after treatment, despite taking quite a blow from the Bayern goalkeeper. The home fans aren't happy, but that challenge was clean as a whistle.
Manuel Neuer has just absolutely bulldozed Diouf! It was an entirely fair challenge, as the keeper punched the ball clear before the Hannover striker ran into him, but the former Manchester United man has definitely felt the full force of it!
CHANCE! Van Buyten is found by a Can free-kick, free at the back post, and the Belgian controls brilliantly. He then stabs the ball at goal, but it's blocked by a wall of red shirts!
CHANCE! Ya Konan miscontrols and squanders yet another attack for his side! He hasn't fared too well since coming on at half time! Hannover have been collectively wasteful too, however, it's not just the Ivorian.
Assist David Alaba
Goal Claudio Pizarro
GOOOOAL! PIZARRO! This is getting ridiculous! Gustavo and Shaqiri play a one-two, before the Brazilian delivers to the near post for Pizarro to finish!
OOH! CHANCE! Sakai bombs forward from right-back, and whips in a devilish cross which had Neuer worried! The Bayern keeper flapped at the delivery, when it was simply going to run out of play... that's uncharacteristic of the German!
ROBBEN! The Dutchman takes a shot with his left foot, but it's deflected behind for a corner! Shaqiri takes, but Sakai manages to head clear under no pressure!
Bayern are continuing to press, despite throwing an extra midfielder into the fray, and the change of personnel doesn't look to have hindered the champions machine whatsoever. They've been dominant for this entire game and are rightfully going to win it!
Ya Konan is found at the back post, controls in plenty of space, but he holds onto the ball for far too long and is robbed of it by the recovering Alaba! They've really not been efficient in front of goal today.
Pizarro finds himself in the clear, but doesn't have the pace to burst into a shooting position, and instead sees his attempted pass blocked. Hannover now substitute the record-setting Cherundolo.
That's the nail in the coffin for Hannover, and Heynckes knows it! Immediately after the goal finds it's way past Zieler, Emre Can takes to the field for the hosts - looks like it's time for Bayern to defend their lead.
Assist Jerome Boateng
Goal M. Gómez
GOOOOAL! SUPER MARIO! The striker strikes the ball past the helpless Zieler at his front post, after good work from Luiz Gustavo down the right flank!
Oooh! CLOSE! Shaqiri squares the ball across the six yard box, after taking a poor touch, but Djourou is able to clear ahead of the lurking Gomez!
CHANCE! A good cross from Robben is headed at goal by Pizarro, but it deflects of the head of Schulz! The deflection carries out Mario Gomez, who almost scores a header without meaning it! Zieler claims the looping header from just underneath his crossbar.
Hannover's forward don't seen to be quite on the same wavelength! They've struggled to feed the runs of Diouf throughout, with Boateng being easily able to mop up the intended passes.
Another good idea from Shaqiri! The Swiss midfielder tries to curl the ball into Gomez, playing the ball in behind Schulz, but it runs through to Zieler - he just got the weight wrong.
Ooh chance! Pizarro manages to get his head on a corner delivery, and for a moment it looks as though it may nestle in the top left corner, but it flashes wide! Close again, the Peruvian certainly deserves a goal this afternoon.
OH DEAR! Diouf lifts the ball wide to find Ya Konan at the back post, and the substitute sets himself with intent of hitting the ball on the volley. The connection is clean, but the Ivorian snatches at it, and balloons his effort miles over!
OFFSIDE! Shaqiri plays a delightful diagonal all over the Hannover defence in search of Gomez, but the German international is just offside! He's been playing right on the shoulder of his man all game, so a few offsides can be expected.
No chances of note since Diouf's effort at goal, as possession is mainly being exchanged through wasteful wingers. Robben has lost the ball a couple of times since coming on, as he attempts to beat his man whenever he gets into possession.
A corner for Hannover results in Boateng heading the ball away from danger at the near post, but the home side are allowed to press again from the clearance. A better showing from the hosts so far. Bayern haven't got the game in control quite yet in this second half.
The home side are really struggling to play in a positive manner, Heynckes' side are closing down a great deal of space in midfield, and often leaving the hosts with little option but to play backwards.
CHANCE! Diouf tests Neuer, but it's an easy stop for the keeper! Athough, it's been a quiet start to the second half, as Hannover are trying to find their feet, whereas the job is as good as done for the visitors.
Two changes from Bayern, with Muller and Ribery being replaced by Shaqiri and Robben - Heynckes obviously has an eye on their Champions League fixture against Barcelona. Ya Konan takes to the field for Hannover, to add some more attacking threat.
Sergio da Silva Pinto
Didier Ya Konan
The referee puts the whistle to his lips to signal the start of the second half, and we are back underway! Can Hannover continue to put up barely a fight, or will some half time inspiration have changed their mentality?
Hannover need to come out of the dressing room as a different side entirely for the second half, as they were so far second-best in the opening 45 minutes that it was almost embarrassing. Heynckes will be asking for more of the same from his travelling champions.
There's the half time whistle! Bayern have been majestic and dominant, whereas Hannover are yet to truly turn up to this game! Except for a glorious chance for Diouf, the home side haven't threatened at all!
Hannover will be begging for the half time whistle here, they've had a torrid first 45! Three goals behind, and it could've been more! The champions are cruising to yet another league victory.
DOUBLE CHANCE! Muller sees his shot charged down, before the ball finds its way to Ribery! The Frenchman wriggles free of the first challenge in the ball, but he's obviously tugged back as he races through on goal! The referee gives nothing, before Zieler makes the save!
Ribery releases an overlapping ball to Alaba wonderfully, but the Austrian is challenged well, and the ball rolls out of play for a corner! The corner is horrendous however, and the first man clears.
Assist Claudio Pizarro
Goal M. Gómez
GOOOOAL! MARIO GOMEZ! What a phenomenal assist from Pizarro, I think that's his second of the afternoon! The Peruvian slips Gomes in behind, before the German international steers the ball across Zieler and into the far corner!
OH DEAR! What an awful decision from Schlaudraff! The forward is presented with the ball in a dangerous area after a mistake from Van Buyten but opts not to shoot, before laying the ball to Stindl who blazes over!
The corner comes to nothing, but it's a milestone for Hannover! They could just grab a goal before the half time break, they'd change the mentality of the second half! Firstly though, it'd be a start to test Neuer!
CHANCE! Things have lost their fluidity for Bayern in the past ten minutes, and the tide is beginning to turn! Schlaudraff finds Diouf with a cross, but he sees his effort blocked! Hannover corner!
Oh dear, Tymoshchuk won't be happy there! Muller drove at the Hannover defence, ignoring the Ukrainian's run down the right flank, before eventually losing the ball! Now it's the time for players to go for personal glory!
Gomez moans at the linesman after being flagged offside, but the decision was correct. Pizarro then tries his disciplinary luck by diving into a tackle with (almost) two feet.
Rausch looks to be in some pain after being caught in a challenge, and Ya Konan is warming up on the sidelines as a precaution. I would imagine that the Ivorian will want to be coming on at some point anyway, if the hosts are to recover.
GOMEZ! The German striker receives the ball to feet, before pivoting and shaking off his marker, but he can only drag his shot wide of Zieler's post - much to the relief of the Hannover keeper, I imagine.
OFFSIDE! Great interplay from Muller and Ribery results in the German being called as offside, as he attempted to lift the ball over Zieler from the edge of the box! That was a tight decision, but probably just about right.
Bayern have just stepped their foot off the gas a touch in the past five minutes, meaning that Hannover aren't quite pressed deep into their own half anymore. They're still relying on lofted balls towards the energetic Diouf though, their midfield is being bypassed totally.
Despite not troubling Neuer whatsoever, Hannover should definitely be back in this game, Diouf is still shaking his head in disbelief! Chances could be few and far between for the hosts in this game, and he's just squandered a beauty.
WHAT A MISS! A fantastic ball from Pander is whipped through the corridor of uncertainty, with Neuer stood helpless, but Diouf can't get a touch to turn it home! That was a golden opportunity!
I can't quite stress how much this game isn't a contest. Bayern are wholly dominating, and Hannover look happy to take the beating. I don't even want to guess how many goals this will be! Alaba is penalised for climbing on Cherundolo at the back post.
Assist Claudio Pizarro
Goal Franck Ribéry
GOOOOAL! RIBERY! The Frenchman is slipped through on goal, and then sets himself before sliding the ball underneath Zieler! Bayern are unstoppable!
CROSSBAR AGAIN! Pizarro catches a Gomez flick on the volley beautifully, it whistles over the despairing Zieler but strikes the woodwork, bouncing down onto the line and clear of danger!
Hannover look like the away side, to be perfectly honest. Bayern are dominating possession, chances, and it seems to be just a matter of how many goals they will score, not whether they will be victorious.
Oooh! Another chance for Bayern! A cross is whipped in, but it evades everyone, despite a couple of white shirts stretching to strike at goal! The champions are truly exerting their dominance.
Own Goal Lars Stindl
GOOOAL! It looks like that could be a Stindl own goal! Alaba was slipped into the Hannover box, being found down the channel, the Austrian tried to cross to the back post, but a deflection took it over Zieler!
CHANCE! Hannover finally threaten, but Schlaudraff's attempted pass towards Diouf inside the 18 yard box ends up being slightly off target! Positive signs at last for the home side.
Ooh! First time that Neuer has been put under pressure! A weak backpass from Van Buyten is cleared by the Bayern keeper, but Diouf was only a yard away from closing him down!
CHANCE! A great ball from Alaba looks for Muller at the back post, but the German international can't quite stretch to divert the ball towards goal! That's happened twice already, the Hannover full-back need to keep an eye on who's on their shoulders.
Cherundolo marauds down the right flank, endevouring to find Diouf with a cross, but the American is inaccurate with his delivery! The hosts haven't quite kicked into gear so far.
Hannover really haven't managed to get into the game offensively yet, I don't think that Diouf has touched the ball! The visitors are pressing ball, Djourou and Schulz have probably seen more of the ball than anybody else in Hannover's red.
Bayern fans are outraged as Muller looks to be brought down by Hoffmann on the edge of the penalty area, but the referee isn't interested at all. Then, another chance for the away side, as Muller squares wonderfully to a stretched Gomez on the edge of the six yard box, but the striker can't quite get there!
CHANCE! Pander makes a great last ditch block to prevent a Rafinha shot from making it's way through to test Zieler, it's been all Bayern so far!
CHANCE! Following fantastic play from Rafinha to nutmeg his opponent before releasing Muller down the right flank, Muller cuts the ball inside to Pizarro, but he miscues his strike!
BAR! RIBERY! After good play down the right hand side from Gomez, the ball is cut back to the Frenchman on the edge of the box, but the he can only turn it against the bar with his right foot! Zieler had no chance!
Bayern have started composedly, but there are certainly question marks over the pace in the centre of midfield. Tymoshchuk definitely doesn't have the legs or engine to compete physically, so Luiz Gustavo might have to do the running for both of the midfield pairing.
After early pressure from Bayern, which saw a Tymoshchuk shot blocked, Rausch tackles well and sparks a counter attack for the hosts, but Boateng cuts it out.
And the game is underway! There's a definite party atmosphere among the away fans, but Hannover will be targetting a win regardless!
We are minutes from kick-off, and this game looks to be one which Bayern will want to win. The home side have struggled for goals in the past five games, whereas the champions are in cruise control.
Hannover sit on 38 points in tenth place, safe from the drop, but I imagine that both the players and fans will be targetting a top half finish. Three points might not be possible today however, as the hosts have only one win in their last five games.
Despite a few rotation players getting the nod for today's game, it seems that Heynckes is keen to continue his final season as Bayern manager in winning style. Pep Guardiola is going to have some rather big shoes to fill next campaign, it seems!
Bayern starting line-up: Neuer, Rafinha, Van Buyten, Boateng, Alaba, Ribery, Tymoshchuk, Luiz Gustavo, Muller, Gomez, Pizarro.
Hannover starting line-up: Zieler, Djourou, Pander, Schulz, Cherundolo, Hoffmann, Sergio Pinto, Rausch, Stindl, Schlaudraff, Diouf.
TEAM NEWS: Although Bayern have been crowned champions, Heynckes hasn't named a totally weakened starting eleven, however there has been some rotation for the visitors. Cherundolo starts for hosts, to equal Jurgen Bandura's appearance record.
I'm Simon Harrison, and I will be the man in charge of keeping you up to date with this afternoon's action, as Bayern look to finish the season in style, while Slomka's Hannover will be looking to get at least a point to firmly cement themselves in the Bundesliga for next season.
Hello and welcome to Goal.com's LIVE coverage of Hannover's Bundesliga clash with champions Bayern Munich at the AWD-Arena, as Jupp Heynckes' men enter today's game in typically fine form against the mid-table home side.
