Little he could do about the goal, but made a couple of stunning saves – from Chamakh’s header and Nasri’s free-kick - that kept his side in it.
At times was troubled by Chamakh’s presence in the air but all-in-all had a reasonably comfortable afternoon.
Put in a few crunching tackles that subdued Robin van Persie early on. Physically imposing all afternoon and negated the aerial threat offered by Chamakh.
Pretty uninspiring performance but was dependable throughout – solid stuff.
Solid performance at the back, but rarely got forward. A reliable job well done.
Quietly assured in the face of Arsenal’s youthful trio in the middle of the park. Led by example.
A bustling performance full of tenacity. Simple finish for the goal and drove his team forward throughout.
Dithered in possession too often and wasn’t as direct as he could have been. Fantastic cross for the Zamora’s goal showed what he was capable of when he focused on a direct end product.
Really struggled to make much of an impact on the game as he was stuck out on the right flank.
Was a constant menace all afternoon, scored one and created the other. Physically imposed himself - added another dimension to his side with clever running and was central to everything good about the Cottagers.
Worked brilliantly in tandem with Zamora, full of clever movement. Had a couple of half chances, which he failed to convert.
Didn’t command his area very well, definitely a day to forget.
Didn’t bomb forward as much as usual yet became overwhelmed by Fulham’s fluid movement up top.
Was bullied and out-thought by Zamora and Johnson in a pretty shaky performance.
Still looks a bit rusty but grew in stature as the game developed. Made one unbelievable tackle to deny Danny Murphy on the goal-line and was the most commanding figure in his side’s defence.
Steady performance though movement down his flank gave him a constant headache, with the strikers more than willing to exploit the space down each channel.
Caught in possession a few times, but was the catalyst for his sides goal when he burst forward energetically. Not enough from the midfielder all-in-all.
Not quite as influential as we have come to expect and looked jaded.
Industrious with flashes of innovation but never really stamped his authority on the game.
Ineffectual throughout and really looked as if he had spent some time on the sidelines.
Posed a threat in air, adding a different dimension to his team’s play. Unlucky not to get on the scoresheet and led the line pretty well.
R. van Persie
Scored away from home again with an excellent finish, yet was largely subdued all afternoon.
- 12 D. Stockdale
- 3 C. Salcido
- 24 G. Kakuta
Brought on too disrupt any momentum Arsenal might build and did it well.
Instantly dismissed three minutes after coming off the bench for a reckless challenge on Vermaelen. Was clearly too excited.
Not enough time to really affect the game. Put in a shift to save tired legs.
- 22 E. Guðjohnsen
- 13 J. Lehmann
- 48 Miquel
Came in at left-back and didn’t have too much to do with Arsenal pushing for the equaliser. Could have got forward more.
- 18 S. Squillaci
- 15 Denílson
A few bright touches that led to a few half chances and he whistled a shot just wide of the post.
Great finish for the equaliser.
