Urgency from the French now as they seek to get the ball forward as quickly as possible, Hoarau knocks a long ball down to Valbuena but his shot goes high and wide from 25 yards out.
Gameiro manages to get into the box and put a cross in from the edge of the 18 yard line on the right side, but it is too long and high for the forwards to get to.

Saha has given France more options through the middle as he partners Hoarau in a more traditional sense.

Malouda from the left gives the ball to Menez in the centre but his shot is charged down. M'Vila then has a go from distance after stealing the ball from Kutuzov, but it's easy for the keeper.

France give the ball away too easily but too their credit they are working hard to get it back each time.
Sagna's cross come shot is easily gathered Zhevnov in the Belarus goal.
France continue to threaten, but once more the final pass is not good enough. This time Clichy has a simple pass cut out and Belarus break.
The French are playing the ball along the backline as Belarus have closed the space in which they have to work in the final third.
Malouda is becoming more influential. France are now looking to him for inspiration.
Some good interplay between Malouda and Menez, but Malouda's shot is cleared out for a corner.

Menez is the architect for the French as he brings the ball forward from the back but again his final ball is poor as he tries to release Hoarau down the right, but he over hits it and it's a goal kick.
Header by Rami from a corner is deflected for another. France have stepped up a gear and are in control of the match.

Interestingly the possession stats are 53% Belarus, 47% France. The away team have looked to cause some damage in the last few moments.
Belarus have a freekick, 30 yards out Kulchy takes and sends it way off target to the delight of the French crowd.
Menez once more looking to play the killer pass, this time for Hoarau but the keeper is there to smother.
