A. Mutu 22'
A. Gamberini 35'
F. Totti 27', 52'
FULL-TIME! It ends 2-2 in Florence in what was a hugely entertaining encounter. Not the result both sides would have hoped for, especially with European qualification on the line. Roma will perhaps be slightly happier with the result after twice coming from two goals down. Totti scored his 200th and 201th Serie A goals, an amazing achievement. Roma remain in sixth while Fiorentina sit down in ninth. That's all from me Luke Matthews. Be sure to keep upto date with the rest of the Serie A fixtures today. Good afternoon.
90' + 4'
Greco tries his luck from 22 yards but it's not the most powerful of shots as Boruc claims the bal down low to his left.
90' + 3'
Yellow Card Cesare Natali
90' + 3'
Babacar's pace is scaring Roma but the Senegalese striker's pass to Mutu is a poor one and intercepted by Mexes. Will there be one final chance?
Daniele De Rossi
Greco is on for De Rossi as we head into five minutes of stoppage time. Late winner anyone?
De Rossi is down injured after Babacar accidently stands on the midfielders ankle. How much stoppage time is likely to be added on?
After a fascinating first half this game has fizzled out a little. It appears both sides have remembered how to defend.
D'Agostino replaces Vargas to heavy applause. The winger has been arguably the best player on the pitch but looks tired as he leaves the pitch. The Peruvian certainly has put in a shift.
Yellow Card Jérémy Menez
Menez goes down in he box under a challenge from Comotto. Theres no contact and the French winger is rightly booked. No need for diving.
Poor cutback from Menez who has three players to aim for but cannot pick any player out. Will there be a winning goal?
Pasqual sends a dangerous ball into the box but Llajic's head down to Mutu lacks direction and the ball bypasses the striker. Both sides are struggling to create clear chances at the moment.
The play is being broken up lately with a number of niggly fouls. This time it's Vargas' chance to whip a set-piece into the box but it's overhit and Roma clear.
Roma have a free-kick 30 yards from goal. Looks like Pizarro will whip a cross in.
Fiorentina come close and Doni nearly makes a howler. Vargas, who has been very impressive today tries his luck from 25 yards out and his bouncing effort is originally spilled by the 'keeper before he dives on it.
Gilardino gets goal side of his marker but he can only turn Vargas' inviting ball around the post. Poor miss.
Yellow Card Philippe Mexes
All square here with 25 minutes left to play. A draw for both sides won't be a great result. Can either side score a winner?
From the resulting free-kick Pizarro lays it off to Totti who smashes a powerful effort at goal to leave Boruc sprawling across his line. Just over the bar though.
Yellow Card Gianluca Comotto
Comotto is the first man to get a yellow card for a high footed challenge on Menez who is still down receiving treatment.
After a spell of Viola possession, Roma break on the counter with the pacey Menez. However the Frenchman can't get a shot off and Gamberini blocks well.
Totti is going for his hat-trick but Boruc does well to claim the ball on his second attempt from the striker's free-kick. Roma are looking good at the moment.
Can Fiorentina take the lead for the third time? It's very possible especially taking into consideration both sides poor defensive performances today.
TOTTI GOL! 2-2 here against the run of play but it's a great finish. Riise crosses for Totti who is unmarked on the right side of the box. The veteran striker controls it before sending the ball into the top corner from 12 yards out. 201 Serie A goals now, amazing stuff.
Assist J. Riise
Goal Francesco Totti
WOW! Vargas nearly scores one of the goals of the season. Comotto crosses to the back post and Vargas volleys the ball from 10 yards out. It's an absolute thunderbolt and smashes off the crossbar. The home side have started this second half as the brighter of the two teams.
Montolivo tries his luck from 25 yards out but his effort is always curling wide.
We're back underway here at Stadio Artemio Franchi. Can the away side claw themselves back into this game and back into contention for that final Champions League qualification spot?
HALF-TIME! Fiorentina lead 2-1 here at the break and deservedly so. It's been an entertaining game with Mutu opening the scoring early on. Totti's 200th Serie A goal from the penalty spot brought the away team level but Gamberini volleyed the Florence club back into the lead. Hopefully the second half will be as end-to-end as the first. Join us in 15 minutes for what promises to be a pulsating second period.
Free-kick to Fiorentina 40 yards from goal as Mexes brings down Montolivo. Needless challenge.
I Lupi have lost seven games away from home this season, a dreadful record for a side still in contention for Champions League qualification. They need to get something from today's game though, especially with Lazio's win yesterday against Cesena.
The Roma defence are all over the place right now and the pace and trickery of Mutu is causing all sorts of problems.
CROSSBAR FROM MUTU! Another corner from Montolivo and Mutu flicks a great header goalwards but the ball smashes off the top of the bar with Doni diving in despair.
Great game this. Some people have complained about this early Sunay kick-off but it's providing great entertainment today.
Assist Adrian Mutu
Goal Alessandro Gamberini
2-1 FIORENTINA! The corner comes in from the right and Mutu flicks the ball on for Gamberini who is on hand to volley the ball into the net from eight yards out. The centre-half's first goal in three seasons.
End to end stuff with the ball falling into Menez who the box who gets his shot away from 12 yards but the ball is well blocked by Boruc.
The home team have reacted well from the disappointment of conceding an equaliser as Vargas pumps a cross into the box but Mexes does well to mop up the danger, putting the ball out of play.
The other players to score over 200 goals you ask? Sivio Pinola (274), Gunnar Nordahl (225), Guiseppe Meazza (216), Jose Altafini (216) and Roberto Baggio (205) of course.
That goal is Totti's 200th goal in Serie A and his first ever in Florence. Only six men have reached that landmark and none are currently playing today. Del Piero is the nearest on 181. Prolific.
Assist J. Riise
Penalty Goal Francesco Totti
TOTTI SCORES! Captain fantastic blasts the ball into the net sending Boruc the wrong.Game on for the away team who will now attempt to use that lifeline as a springboard to improve their performance.
PENALTY TO ROMA! Comotto brings down Riise in the box and the ref awards a penalty. It looks a little soft but there was contact.
Viola come close again and Mutu turns provider for Gilardino with a great cross for Gilardino who skies his volley over the bar from 12 yards.
Advantage Fiorentina who deserved their goal after dominating the early stages of this game. Can Roma spark into life?
Assist Juan Vargas
Goal Adrian Mutu
GOL MUTU! Great finish that from the Romanian striker who always seems to divide opinions for his off-field antics. What can't be ignored is his obvious talent which he shows in abundance for this goal. The former Juve man picks the ball up from a Vargas pass 30 yards from goal and continues to drift pass Juan before confidently slotting the ball low past Doni to make it 1-0.
Another chance for the home side with the left-back Pasqual getting forward and stinging the palms of Doni with a rasping effort from the edge of the box. The 'keeper takes two attempts at claiming the ball.
Fiorentina have the ball in the net but Mutu came back into the play from an offside position. Still, it was a great finish from Gilardino who dinked the ball over Doni's head from the edge of the area.
The game has been a little quiet in the last few minutes with Montella's men beginning to settle.
The ball falls to Vargas 20 yards from goal but the left-sided player can only drag his shot wide of goal with Doni left to watch the ball drift past his post.
Burdisso lunges at Vargas yet the referee chooses to play on. Weird one that, looked like a definite foul.
Behrami in particular has impressed for the Giallorossi so far today. The former Lazio men being heavily involved with his sides' attacking play.
Vargas slams an inviting ball into the box which Doni just about claims under pressure from Mutu. Free-kick to the Brazilian shot-stopper. Lively opening to this one.
Half chance for the away side with Menez whipping in an inviting ball into the box. Boruc leaves it although Taddei comes very close to keeping it in play atr the back-post with his head. That could have been a very embarrassing moment for the Polish 'keeper.
Viola are looking the stronger team at the moment, settling into a decent tempo with Roma still yet to find their feet.
First chance to the home side as Behrami crashes a ball across the six-yard box. Gilardino gets his head to it but can't keep it down and on target. Too much power on the cross there.
We're underway here in Stadio Artemio Franchi. Roma kick-off wearing all white while Fiorentina are in their traditional purple kit.
Roma: Doni, Burdisso, Mexes, Juan, Riise, De Rossi, Pizarro, Taddei, Perrotta, Menez, Totti
Fiorentina: Boruc, Comotto, Gamberini, Natali, Pasqual, Behrami, Montolivo, Vargas, Santana, Mutu, Gilardino
Here come the teams...

The Florence club are currently down in ninth place but a win today could put the club on track for a possible Europa League spot. Roma on the otherhand are looking for Champions League qualification and last week's derby win has left them in sixth place, five points behind fourth placed Lazio. All to play for today.
