UNBELIEVABLE FINISH at Goodison Park!!! Everton salvage a point out of nowhere, having appeared dead and buried on 90 minutes. United will be furious, but what an end! Thanks for following!!
90' + 4'
FULL TIME!!! Almost some late drama as Everton break down the end for a third time in stoppage time, but as Jagielka shoots the referee blows the full time whistle!!

ARTETA HAS SCORED, UNBELIEVABLY IT'S 3-3!!! Baines' high cross into the United box is not dealt with by the defence. They can only head the ball out to Arteta on the edge of the box and his shhot takes a wicked deflection off Scholes and is back into the United net.

Curse of the commentator strikes!! Cahill rises highest to head home Baines cross! 3-2, game on?
GOAL FOR EVERTON!!! CAHILL SCORES!!!!
United just sitting back, soaking up everything Everton are throwing at them. Everton are trying gamely, but they don't look like scoring.
United almost fashion a half chance as Giggs wins the ball off Pienaar in the Everton half. He then looks up and tries to pick out Berbatov, but Jagielka intercepts.
Vidic, who has been utterly imperious today, does really well to battle with Yakubu for possession in the United box and eventually outmuscles the striker and clears.
Nani then picks the ball up in a similar position but can only fire high and wide of Howard's goal.
OOOH! United then break down the other end of the field and Park bursts clear on the halfway line, he looks up and finds Berbatov breaking clear down the right. He brings the ball down into the right side of the Everton box and then tries a cross cum shot which flies across Howard's goal and out for a goalkick.
Cahill manages to meet the corner and heads it back across goal, only for Giggs to head it clear under pressure.
Everton work the freekick to Jagielka whose effort is blocked behind by Evans for a corner.
Game's hit a bit of a lull now, United looking pretty comfortable while Everton struggle to make headway. That is until Paul Scholes flies into a challenge with Yakubu and gives away an unnecessary freekick in the United half.
Everton work the ball to Arteta who is in space on the edge of the box, but he drags his left-footed effort wide of Van der Sar's post. Disappointing effort.
United are playing a slightly dangerous game here, sitting deep and inviting pressure. This time Yakubu finds space down the right and hoists a lovely cross into the area which forces Vidic to clear from in front of his own goal.
WHAT A CHANCE! Osman, free on goal in the box, can only fire a tame effort which is easily saved by Van der Sar. Yakubu holds the ball up brilliantly, and eventually rolls the midfielder in, but he wastes the chance!!!
Everton give the ball away in their own half, Nani then feeds Scholes in the area and uncharacteristically he fires high over the bar.
Coleman picks up the ball midway through the United half down the right. He chips a lovely cross into the box, which finds Cahill but it's just a bit beyond the Australian who can only head the ball high and wide.
Fellaini finds space on the edge of the box and fires a hopeless effort at goal which nearly hits the corner flag it missed by so much.
OOOOOOOOOH! Baines steps up and whips a left-footed agonisingly wide of Van der Sar's post. The Dutch keeper thought that was in, as did half the crowd.
Coleman wins a freekick after Evra slips on the edge of the box and fells the fullback.
Everton ring the changes, Yakubu is on for Heitinga and Coleman is on for Hibbert.
Another defensive mistake, this time from Distin. Scholes fires a lovely 50 yard pass up to Berbatov, but Distin misjudges his interception. Berbatov takes the ball down and is 1-on-1 with Howard. He then advances on goal and fires a wonderful shot past the keeper with the outside of his foot. Super finish, terrible mistake from Distin. 3-1.
GOAL!!! UNITED SCORE, BERBATOV PUTS THEM 3-1 UP!!!
OOOOOOOOOH! GREAT SAVE AGAIN FROM HOWARD! United break forward, and Fletcher's fine pass to Berbatov cuts out Distin who overcommited himself. Berbatov is in behind the defence. He advances to the edge of the box, and feeds Nani who hits a low shot which is well saved by Howard and the rebound is cleared by Hibbert.
Pienaar picks up the ball 25 yards from goal. He cuts inside on his right foot and fires a shot straight down Van der Sar's throat which he saves comfortably.
Scholes, who has had another fine match, fires a wonderful pass out to Giggs on the left side, level with the Everton box. He feeds Berbatov on the edge of the area, who tries to find some space but is well blocked by Jagielka.
Hibbert then finds some space down the United left side from Arteta's pass. He advances to about 25 yards out and then chips a poor cross into the United box which Van der Sar is out quick to claim. Apart from sporadic glimpses from Pienaar and Arteta, that about sums up Everton's threat at the moment.
Hibbert fires a shot high and wide from the right side of the United box.
OOOOOOOOOOOOH! Almost a wonderful chance for Osman if he had managed to control the ball! Pienaar breaks clear, nutmegs Neville, and plays a wonderful pass to Osman in the box who is goalside of Evra. But he fails to control and Evans is in quick to cover the danger and clear.
OOOOOOF! Clash of heads between Cahill and Vidic, both contesting a high ball, has the United defender laid out on the deck. He eventually gets up and is clearly unhappy with the challenge.
United threaten a third, as Berbatov holds the ball up and then rolls in Giggs in a dangerous position, but the Welshman makes an uncharacteristic hash out of his effort and fires wide.
Everton win another freekick, which Arteta plays short to Baines who then feeds Pienaar down the left. He then plays a lazy cutback which is easily cut out by United's defence who currently look impregnable.
Yellow CardJohn Heitinga
Heitinga makes a poor challenge on Neville, contesting a high ball the Dutchman barges into the right back and earns himself a deserved booking.
Everton look to hit back, and win a corner off Vidic. It's whipped in, but again United are defending very strongly and managed to clear.
2-1 Manchester United! Vidic, the captain, scores! Everton clear Nani's initial corner, it comes to Scholes who feeds it back out to Nani who whips another super cross into the area where he finds Vidic unmarked just 3 yards out and he heads past Howard who had no chance!
GOAL!!! MANCHESTER UNITED SCORE! VIDIC WITH A HEADER!!!!
Berbatov has the first effort of the second half, a speculative strike from distance which takes a deflection and trickles out for a United corner.
United get us underway for the second half!
Both teams are out at half-time, doesn't look like there any changes to either team thus far.
45' + 2'
Half-time and honours are probably deservedly even at Goodison Park. Everton started the brighter, but United have really come back strong and made the better chances thus far. Promises to be an excellent second half, back in fifteen!
45' + 2'
OOOOOOOH!! Almost a sensational goal from Berbatov. Giggs fires a sensational 30-yard pass up to the Bulgarian in the Everton box. He attempts a superb first-time volley on the run, which JUST goes past Howard's far post.
Yellow CardRyan Giggs
1-1 at Goodison Park!! Credit to Scholes who takes a quick freekick in the United half, he feeds Giggs who then fires the ball out to Nani. He looks up and whips an absolute dream of a cross into the Everton box which finds the onrushing Fletcher who has an easy task to fire past Howard on the six yard box!
UNITED SCORE! FLETCHER EQUALISES!!!! 1-1!!!
Everton pump a long ball up into the United box, but Van der Sar is out to claim the high ball ahead of the Everton attackers. Super keeping from the Dutchman.
Real shocker from Evra that, and he is clearly irked by the mistake as he fouls Arteta.
1-0 Everton! Patrice Evra makes a horrendous error, misjudging a long ball which allows Arteta to break clear behind the United backline. He is one on one with Van der Sar, is shot is saved by the Dutchman's legs, it then rebounds to Pienaar who is unmarked and manages to get to the ball ahead of Van der Sar and tap it in!
GOAL FOR EVERTON!!! STEVEN PIENAAR SCORES!!!
ANOTHER GREAT SAVE FROM HOWARD!!! Fletcher breaks clear down the right, his cross finds Giggs in the box, he escapes Jagielka's attentions and fires a shot at goal which Howard reacts smartly to save.
Everton win a freekick midway through the United half, Arteta steps up and rather wastes it by hitting it into the United wall.
United have really stepped up in the past few minutes, Everton are now on the backfoot as Nani skies a cross way over Howard's crossbar.
United whip the corner in, but Distin is up to clear with ease and Everton survive.
OOOOOOOH!! Fantastic save by Howard!!! The ball is knocked across to Scholes who steps up and unleashes a thunderbolt at goal which Howard manages to tip over his crossbar.
Everton clear the corner out to Evra who then crosses the ball back in, it comes out to Giggs who wins a freekick on the edge of the box from Hibbert's needless challenge.
Giggs tries to force half a yard in the Everton final third, but he is eventually blocked and United have a corner.
United again enjoy some decent possession, with Scholes and O'Shea putting a string of passes together. But again, they struggle to make much of an impression-as Giggs fires a long, hopeful ball up to Nani which is easily intercepted.
OOOOOOOOOOOH! Baines remained forward, and receives the ball in the United box from a Fellaini flick and promptly fires a ball well wide of Van der Sar's goal. A real waste that.
Baines does brilliantly to chase Arteta's long pass down the left, he bursts past Fletcher and gets into the United box. He looks up, pulls the ball back to Fellaini who is promptly challenged superbly by Vidic.
This time Fellaini picks up the ball 30 yards out, and then promptly looks up and fires a left-footed shot high over the bar.
Cahill attempts a left-footed shot from 25 yards out, but gets it hopelessly wrong and skies it WAY over the cross bar.
Manchester United look to break forward, with Berbatov holding the ball up midway through the Everton half. But the home team are full of energy and continually press them, and eventually force them off the ball.
Everton continue to dominate must of the midfield possession, but every time they whip a ball into the United area both Evans and Vidic are first to everything.
United clear the resulting free-kick with ease. Has to be said, their defending of set pieces so far today has been excellent. Needs to be with the likes of Cahill and Fellaini in attack.
Slack possession from United gifts the ball to Osman on the left side of the box. Giggs then resorts to fouling the Everton man.
Manchester United construct a lovely move after Berbatov's quick thinking sees him dash into an offside position to receive Neville's long throw. With no flag, he looks up and then tries a lovely cross with the outside of his foot to the arriving Giggs, which is only cleared thanks to alert defending from Jagielka.
This has been a really good game so far, both team's are fairly evenly matched and contesting for every ball.
OOOOOH!!! John O'Shea of all people almost puts United with a wonderful hit from the edge of the box which smashes off the outside of Tim Howard's post.
Now United are exerting some pressure. A decent period of possession eventually sees some crosses pinged into the Everton box, but Everton do well to withstand the pressure.
Everton are really in command here, this time they work the ball to Hibbert down the right and his cross forces Van der Sar to punch it clear under pressure from Osman.
Everton then respond, Arteta receiving the ball from Heitinga. He then dummies well and fires a shot at goal which is blocked.
First hint of a threat from United as Nani carries the ball through the Everton half, he then whips a cross in but Giggs is penalised for a push on Jagielka.
United are really struggling to cope with Everton here. Berbatov has barely touched the ball, and the home team are really calling the shots so far.
Arteta steps up.......and just sends it narrowly over! The freekick is 30 yards out, whipped towards Van der Sar's top corner, but just doesn't dip enough and grazes the United crossbar.
Gary Neville, interestingly not captain of United today, endears himself to the Merseysiders by tugging back Pienaar in a decent position. Concedes a free kick in a dangerous position though....
Everton's system is really working well for them, Cahill and Fellaini are dropping deep and feeding Arteta and Pienaar. This time, Pienaar manages to latch onto a second ball contested between O'Shea and Fellaini and fires a shot narrowly wide of Van der Sar's far post.
United, as ever, defend the corner resolutely and eventually Everton are forced to play the ball back to Howard.
Bright start already from Everton, Pienaar exchanges passes with Baines and then receives the ball in the United box, but his shot is blocked behind for a corner by Vidic.
WE'RE UNDERWAY! Everton kick us off!
Manchester United are doing what they do best now, keeping possession when in the lead, Scholes, Fletcher and Giggs really passing the ball around comfortably.
While the atmosphere has understandably dipped given the absence of Rooney, there is still quite a noise building at Goodison Park. The Everton fans are certainly up for this match...
Curiously Everton have named no recognised striker in their starting line-up and appear to have Cahill and Fellaini interchanging upfront, but Yakubu and Beckford are on the bench. Meanwhile United are predicted to line-up with a 4-5-1, with Giggs and Nani supporting Berbatov. Big game for the Bulgarian, who has been in good form so far this season.
Of course this is a vital game for Everton who have endured their worst start to a season since 1999. They'll have great memories of their 3-1 victory over Manchester United last season though.
So the big team news is that Wayne Rooney is out of Manchester United's starting line-up on the return to his former club. Sir Alex Ferguson has just told TV that he has been left out due to the abuse he receives from the Goodison Park fans. Interesting decision.
Manchester United are lined up: Van der Sar, Neville, Vidic, Jonathan Evans, Evra, Scholes, O'Shea, Fletcher, Nani, Berbatov, Giggs. Subs: Kuszczak, Owen, Smalling, Park, Rafael Da Silva, Macheda, Gibson.
First up is the team news. Everton are lining up: Howard, Hibbert, Jagielka, Distin, Baines, Osman, Heitinga, Arteta, Pienaar, Fellaini, Cahill. Subs: Mucha, Bilyaletdinov, Beckford, Neville, Gueye, Yakubu, Coleman.
