Free-kick to Utd on the left wing as Evra is clattered into by Neville.
So close for Utd. Young finds van Persie in the area. The Dutchman somehow squares the ball into the danger area and Kagawa almost got to it, with Howard playing the ball out off the Japanese midfielder and it almost went in!
Nani's hit-and-miss night comes to and end as Ashley Young replaces him.
Risky play by Utd. Osman looks for Jelavic in behind Vidic and just when De Gea appears to have the ball in his grasp, his captaing passes the ball towards the penalty spot and into Pienaar's path, but Carrick clears.
Two more attacks end with Nani as firstly his right-footed cross is headed away by Jagielka, and then his second goes over everyone.
Nani in disappointing form again as he tries to play Evra in down the left, but there is too much on it for the Frenchman.
In typical fashion, Nani's cross doesn't beat the first man.
Utd corner as Evra's low cross takes a knock off Hibbert.
Again, the corner comes to nothing and eventually Evra crosses from deep, but Vidic heads well wide.
Utd have another corner. Rooney crosses from the left towards the far post and Distin nods it behind.
Robin van Persie
On comes Robin van Persi. Replacing Danny Welbeck and goes straight over to take a corner.
Somehow Utd don't score! Valencia crosses and the ball drops behind the Everton defence, allowing Kagawa to knock back for Cleverly, but Jagielka clears the ball off the line.

GOAL!!! Everton take a deserved lead! Darron Gibson fires in another brilliant corner and Marouane Fellaini beats Carrick in the air, heading the ball into the bottom corner.
Everton straight back down the other end and win a corner as Evra deflects a cross behind.
Carrick plays a good long-ball up the other end. Nani controls it well and leaves it for Kagawa who plays it to Rooney first-time, but the striker's shot goes wide of the far post.
Hibbert looks set to cross, but back comes Danny Welbeck to make the tackle. Everton not happy as they feel the full-back was fouled.
Jagielka boots the ball clear towards Jelavic and Croatian controls, but is penalised for a foul on Vidic. Was a bit harsh.

Here we go, Utd kick off the action in this second-half.

Vidic harshly penalised in a dangerous area. The defender challenged Jelavic in the air, but he was adjudged to have fouled the Croat.
Free-kick to Everton in their own area as they relieve some Utd pressure. Nani looked as though he would nip in front of the South African, but the Everton man just got their first and was then penalised by the Utd winger.
Fantastic save by De Gea! Gibson played a ball deep into the area that Fellaini headed down, and Osman volleyed goalwards, but the goalkeeper produced a great reaction save to palm it away.
Big chance for United! Evra crosses from the left and Rooney hits it left-footed, but Howards saves. Good chance.
Danny Welbeck not happy there as he is denied a penalty. Kagawa played a lovely ball through the defence for the forward, and just as he shot he appeared to be hauled down by Jagielka. Nothing given, much to the frustration of Welbeck.
Utd having a spell of possession again here, taking their time to find an opening.
Penalty shouts again from Everton as Scholes bundles Baines over for the second time in 30 seconds. Referee not interested.
Everton really pressing here. Fellaini holds the ball up brilliantly and plays Baines into the area. The full-back is almost felled by Scholes, and his effort is then blocked by Carrick.

The corner is played short, and wasted as Utd end up in their own half.
Great save by Howard! Rooney tried to curl it into the bottom right corner, but Howard got down to concede a corner.

Yellow CardPaul Scholes
Everton hit the post! Fellaini manages to get in behind Valencia and then holds off Carrick, but when he eventually shoots he is at a very narrow angle and can only find the post.
It's a cliché, but some things never change. Paul Scholes comes flying in from behind on Gibson and earns himself a yellow card.
Nani starting to look very dangerous now coming in off the right. This time he finds his way over the left after a clever inter-change with Kagawa. Welbeck finds Cleverley, but his one-two with Rooney doesn't come off.
Another corner shout turned down for United as a Jagielka clearance ricochets off Valencia. The Ecuadorian wasn't convinced, however.

Everton kick-off the action at Goodison Park.
The players are now coming out on to the pitch at Goodison Park.
Should Everton win, it will be just their fourth victory in their last 21 home matches against United.
Tim Howard will make his 184th consecutive Premier League appearance tonight.
United on the other hand have Shinji Kagawa starting and will make his official debut. Robin van Persie was tipped to appear from the start, but it appears this match has come just a little too soon for him as the Netherlands international takes a place on the bench.
There are no debutants in the Everton starting eleven, while Steven Naismith takes a place on the bench following his move from Rangers.
On the contrary to Everton, United have had to contend with several injuries. At the back Phil Jones, Chris Smalling and Jonny Evans are all out, meaning Antonio Valencia and Michael Carrick deputise at right-back and centre-back, respectively.
Everton haven't had a great deal to think about with regards to injuries, as Victor Anichebe finds himself on the bench despite struggling with a knock. Steven Pienaar will make his first apperance since signing permanently from Tottenham, while Phil Neville, Darron Gibson and Tim Howard all start against their former club.
Manchester United's starting XI is: De Gea; Valencia, Carrick, Vidic, Evra; Cleverley, Scholes; Nani, Rooney, Kagawa; Welbeck Subs: Lindegaard, Rafael, Wootton, Anderson, Young, Berbatov, van Persie
