FULL TIME! United take the 1-0 win thanks to Chicharito. A very solid performance from the champions in defence, and a professional outing after last week's drubbing.

But it's cleared by Berbatov.

90' + 4'
United going for the corners now, earning a very cheap free-kick from Fellaini and winding down the clock.
90' + 3'
Wayne Rooney is down in the centre of the pitch with cramp after a long spring with Valencia breaking. More time to be added.
90' + 1'
It's a big call from Mark Halsey as Evra looks to barge into Gueye at the back post, but the referee gives no penalty. In fairness, it would have been very soft, but it's a big call nonetheless.
It's five minutes of added time at Goodison and a corner for Everton...
A strange one this, it looks as if the linesman has injured his back. It may be a late substitution involving the fourth official. Elsewhere, the game has slowed down mostly, it looks as if United will take this one with two minutes to injury time.
Berbatov is angry with De Gea, the striker was open and the keeper had the ball in hand following an Everton attack, but his kick missed the Bulgarian by a full 20 yards.
Coleman hits in a shot from the edge of the area, but it's tame and De Gea stops it easily.
Some desperate defending from United as they clear the corner. Some shouts for handball, but they were optimistic at best.
Vidic comes the closest since Leighton Baines to finding the United net, heading it wide of his own goal.
Saha tries to go it alone when a pass would have been the better option. His shot is dragged well wide of the goal from 25 yards out.
Everton have finally got two strikers on the pitch, with Velios joining Saha. Vidic and Evans have had it all too easy so far today, and Saha has barely got a kick.
Jagielka aims a wild shot towards De Gea's goal from around 40 yards out, but it finds row Z.
Danny Welbeck is off for Antonio Valencia, the striker having put in a good shift out wide, playing a big part in Chicharito's goal.
Everton haven't looked like creating anything in the last 10 minutes or so, and the atmosphere has died down slightly.
Everton fans are appealing for a penalty there as Rooney jumped with Fellaini, but there was nothing in that.
Javier 'Chicharito' Hernandez
Yellow CardSeamus Coleman
Chicharito is replaced by Dimitar Berbatov. The Bulgarian was United's leading scorer last season, and found the net in this fixture last year but has been out of favour so far this season.
United strike on the counter-attack, Welbeck chesting down a long-ball before volleying at goal, only for Tim Howard to palm over. Nani almost finds the top corner with a cross after the resulting corner.
United have dropped off slightly and Everton are controlling possession. While this 4-5-1 does make United look more secure, it's not great stuff to watch for the neutral.
Rooney and Park are now in central midfield with Darren Fletcher as Nani takes up his favoured position on the right wing.
Scratch that simple stuff for De Gea, it caught him in the face, such was the swerve on the ball. Still, he kept it out and that's the main thing for a goalkeeper. Worrying news for United fans though, Cleverley is off injured and has headed straight down the tunnel. He will be replaced by Nani.
Rodwell brings the first proper save out of De Gea, stinging his palms from 20 yards, but it's fairly simple for the Spaniard.
Everton are looking long to try and break down United, but it's not working so far with Vidic and Evans coping well.
Danny Welbeck is almost in as he looks to play a neat one-two with Chicharito, but the return ball is far too heavy and the young striker can't get it under control..
Phil Jones is caught with a late challenge from Saha, and isn't happy about it at all, but the referee doesn't give a booking for the foul.
Everton get us underway for the second half, and wonder-kid Ross Barkley is brought on to replace Bilyaletdinov. No changes for United.
HALF TIME! United lead 1-0 thanks to a goal from Chicharito, but they haven't had it all their own way with Leighton Baines hitting the bar from a free-kick. It should be an enthralling second half.
45' + 1'
Saha gets a shot away at some good pressure, but it's straight at De Gea.
Having said that, United have just had their first shot for a while. Rooney breaking well before finding Welbeck. He combined with Park to find Chicharito, but the Mexican's shot was straight at Howard.
United have taken their foot off the accelerator slightly since grabbing that first goal. They were the better side beforehand, but Everton have been on top since then.
And Baines' free-kick strikes the bar and comes back out! The wall could have done a lot better, failing to jump, but David de Gea could only watch that one, he would have stood no chance if that was a few inches lower.
Darren Fletcher brings down Fellaini on the edge of the box in Leighton Baines territory...
Jack Rodwell robbed Cleverley of possession before heading for the United area, but he dragged his shot well wide.
Everton moved the ball and Saha struck it right-footed but by the time the ball was flying it had been charged down by Cleverley. Osman later had a shot that was blocked well by De Gea.
Free-kick in a dangerous area for Everton...
Everton look to be building pressure, but everytime they get towards the United area, their passing lets them down, this time with Cleverley cutting the ball out.
Welbeck almost gets in on goal, but Howard does well to get down at the striker's feet and collect the ball.
Yellow CardJack Rodwell
Everton are struggling to get anything going up front, with Vidic man-marking Louis Saha out of the match.
There's some great movement from United at the moment, with Chicharito, Welbeck and Cleverley exchanging some nice passes.
GoalJavier 'Chicharito' Hernandez
GOAL! Chicharito finds the back of the net! United have been increasing the pressure on Everton over the past few minutes. Welbeck and Cleverley combined well to release Evra down the left, and his cross found an unmarked Chicharito to convert from four yards.
Wayne Rooney looks to pick out Chicharito with a lofted through ball, but Phil Jagielka cuts it out well. Hernandez has been hanging off the shoulder of the last defender for most of the game so far.
United are going to a flat 4-5-1 when Everton get the ball, with Rooney dropping into central mindfield and Welbeck wide on the left.
Everton are closing down United well when the visitors are in possession. The Red Devils are playing some nice one-touch passing in midfield though.
Marouane Fellaini gets a header away, but it's easily caught by De Gea.
A storming run from Danny Welbeck leads him into the corner of the Everton box, and his cutback finds Ji-Sung Park, but the Korean midfielder's finish is poor and straight at Tim Howard.
Manchester United get us underway. And immediately give the ball away, with Seamus Coleman getting down the right and firing in a shot that David de Gea stops easily. Almost a fantastic start for the Toffees.
United have changed their defensive lineup again, this being their seventh different combination in 10 Premier League games, featuring Phil Jones, Nemanja Vidic, Jonny Evans and Patrice Evra.
