Remember to stick with Goal.com for all the post-match news and analysis including match report and player ratings. My name is Tom Webber and it has been a pleasure, as always, to guide you through tonight's action.
Dudu and Kleber were not given much time at the end but still manage to make a mark on the game. For me, they have done enough over the two games to seriously be in the trainer's thoughts for future squads.
The final whistle has gone and Brazil have ended the calendar year with six consecutive victories. Menezes will be pleased with the displays over the two games but their is still much work ahead of his side.
We're into additional time here and Brazil look set to just see out the clock with possession. It will be another win for the Brazilians in their 2014 World Cup preparation.
DUUUUUDUUUUUUU!! The young winger toe-pokes a shot at goal but El-Shenawy gets down once again to save. The keeper has been fairly impressive for the Egyptians though he could have done better on the second goal.
OFF THE POST!! Kleber almost nods in from Dudu's deflected cross but finds the base of the post. Dudu heads the rebound back at goal and El-Shenawy produces a great save to keep the Brazilian youngsters at bay.
Ahmed Saied Okka
HUUUUULKK!! Another effort from the Porto man but it swerves away from goal without testing the keeper. It is his last part in the action tonight as he makes way for Dudu. He may not have scored but he certainly impressed.
OHH HASSAN!! Egypt apply a bit of pressure and Hassan's long-range effort swerves and almost catches Diego Alves out. The keeper manages to just get enough on the ball to keep it out and maintain his clean sheet.
Menezes will be pleased with this outing for his side. It has been a solid if unspectacular performance once again. However that is where his critics lie, in that they are not the same Samba Boys that used to wow crowds with their genius displays.
Abdalla El Said
EL MOHAMADY! He sends a skidding shot at Diego Alves but the Valencia keeper has it covered and sees the ball wide without trouble.
Hosni Abd Rabou
It would be nice to see Menezes make a few substitutions as the game has hit a bit of a lull. Kleber, Dudu and Willian would make for an injection of flair.
Egypt pressing now but Brazil deal with it comfortably. The Pharaohs have rarely gone at the Selecao defence but they look really low on confidence, a fraction of the team that won back-to-back AFCON titles.
Hulk sprays a lovely ball with the outside of his boot to Daniel Alves out on the right but the Barcelona man just can't keep hold of the ball and loses possession.
After a mad few minutes the game has settled down again. Shikabala looks fairly dangerous for Egypt wide on the right and Alex Sandro is finding the Egyptian difficult to deal with.
Mohamed El Gabbas
From the corner Brazil counter with Hulk. He carries the ball all the way up the pitch before slipping in Hernanes but he screws his shot wide of the goal. A real let-off for the Pharaohs there!
EL MOHAMADYYYYYY! He finds space on the edge of the area and is not close down. He turns and bends a shot at goal but Diego Alves turns it behind for a corner.
JOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONAS!!! He gets his second of the night with another opportunistic strike. Bruno Cesar sends the free kick in which is headed goalwards by Fernandinho. El-Shenawy fails to react quick enough and spills it into the past of Jonas who stabs the ball into the back of the net.
Hulk drills it at goal but it dribbles wide in what was a poor attempt. Brazil win the ball back from the goal kick and they have another free kick in a dangerous area after Lucas Leiva is pulled back.
Dani Alves is caught on the ball about 30 metres from goal. Possibly a chance for him or Hulk to shoot from distance.
Bruno Cesar gathers the ball in the final third but does not spot Dani Alves breaking into acres of space on the right and is dispossessed. I have not been convinced by him over the past two games.
Jonas is definitely showing his knack of getting into the right places at the right time tonight. After his tap-in before the break he almost grabbed another one early this half. Egypt are now enjoying some time on the ball though but again lack the patience in attack.
Good news, the Egyptian defender Hegazi is back up and will no doubt be a hero among his team mates for his determination to protect the goal.
OHHHHHHHH SO CLOSE!! Fernandinho plays a great ball as he spots Jonas running in behind the defence. He rounds El-Shenawy and shoots at the vacant net but Hegazi gets back and clears the ball but his momentum takes him into the post and looks in pain.
We are into the final 45 at the Al-Rayyan stadium in Doha. Can Egypt find a way back into this game or will Brazil run away with it?
Welcome back, I'm Tom Webber and the players are back out and the second half will begin any moment.
The five-time world champions are in control in Qatar and could possibly had another couple of goals. Jonas was fairly ineffectual before tapping his goal in but Hulk has been the main man in attack but is yet to score his first international goal. Will he get it in the second half? Come back in 15 minutes to find out!
Abd Rabou has the ball for Egypt in the centre of the final third and looks to slip in Fathi but Hernanes intercepts the final attack of the half.
Hernanes is looking really impressive again. He carries the ball forward showing some good footwork but falls at the final hurdle and is dispossessed. I would be shocked if he is not picked in Menezes' next squad.
So Brazil have take the lead a few minutes before half time. You have to say it is deserved in what has been a solid performance from the Selecao. They look ready to step it up another gear now as Hernanes almost slips in Hulk.
GOOOOOAAAAALLL JONAS!!! Bruno Cesar plays in Hulk behind the defence. The Porto forward drills the ball across the goal and Jonas is there to tap in for his first ever international goal.
Bruno Cesar could have got an effort on goal but pulled out when he was faced with El-Shenawy charging at him. A disappointing level of commitment there when they could have finally tested the keeper.
With his back to goal Hulk goes down outside the box once again but the referee does not award him anything. Egypt come close to a counter attack but Shikabala's ball does not find anyone.
ALEX SANDRO GOES CLOSE!! Hulk holds the play well and slips in the Porto full back but his side footed effort is too weak to get past El-Shenawy who gets down well to make the save.
A nice move from Brazil initiated by Hernanes as they play the ball neatly across the box. Bruno Cesar just fails to get the final ball back to Hernanes for a shot.
Yellow Card Wael Gomaa
David Luiz surges forwards from defence with the ball and gives the ball to Bruno Cesar. The Benfica man plumps an ambitious effort from distance but is straight into the hands of Egypt's 20-year-old keeper El-Shenawy.
OH OVER FROM HULK!! He gets away from two defenders and holds off the pressure from Nasef but blazes a powerful shot over the bar and into the stands. He has looked really hungry for a goal tonight.
A poor header from David Luiz almost allows Mohamed Zidan in on goal but Thiago Silva gets back to clear the danger away.
Egypt need to be a bit more patient on the ball when going forward. Another aimless ball into the strikers is headed away by the Brazilian defence.
It's good to see that Menezes' side have the ball down on the floor today. They are avoiding their previous tendencies of knocking the long diagonal ball up from the centre backs. Long may it continue.
Hulk is once again looking more dangerous than his strike partner Jonas. For Egypt, Mohamed Zidan needs to get himself involved in the game a bit more and start creating chances for his team mates.
Once again Brazil are going to need some players to break their international ducks tonight. Only Dani Alves and Hernanes have netted in the Selecao's starting line-up. The Barcelona defender has five goals and the Lazio midfielder scored his first and only goal against Gabon on Thursday.
Brazil try an inventive short free kick with Dani Alves passing to Bruno Cesar but Hernanes commits a foul in the area trying to regain the ball. Good to see from the Samba Boys.
Here is the correction to the Pharaoh's line-up, apologies. Egypt (4-4-2): El-Shenawy; Fathi, Hegazy, Gomaa, Nasef; El Mohamady, Ghaly, Shikabala, Abd Rabou; Zidan, Moteab.
Brazil are starting to assert their dominance in possession now. Egypt cannot allow them to get comfortable on the ball.
Hulk tries to bounce another free kick in front of El-Shenawy and the keeper spills it momentarily before gathering without incident.
Fantastically fierce drive from Porto's Hulk which took a deflection of a defender and went wide. He has such a great strike on him you do not want to be giving away free kicks in that area.
Brazil with the free kick this time after Hulk is brought down 30 metres from goal...
Shikabala strikes it with venomous whip and Diego Alves gets up to palm it away for a corner. Great effort and a great save to keep him out.
The Brazilian players will be pleased that the majority of this pitch is grass unlike what they played on in Libreville last Thursday. Egypt win a free kick in a dangerous area as Fernandinho pulls on Meteab's shirt.
Hernanes has a crack from 30 metres but his shot is wild and flies into the stand behind the goal. Let's hope that was just a sighter from the Lazio man.
Brazil signalling their intent with a couple of early attacks. Jonas gives the ball away and shortly after Bruno Cesar drills a ball in which fails to find a yellow shirt and the ball is cleared away.
We're underway here in Qatar! Let's hope we're in for a cracker.
Alex Sandro gets his first start for the Selecao at left back tonight. He won the Copa Libertadores with Santos earlier this year before earning a move to Santos. Kick off any second now.
The teams are out at the Al-Rayyan Stadium and kick off is just moments away. We should be in for an interesting game tonight as both teams have a point to prove. Bob Bradley will want a good result to get his new job off and running whilst Menezes will surely be expecting a stronger performance than their last outing.
Mohamed Zidan starts tonight and he will be key for the reigning African Cup of Nations champions. The Borrusia Dortmund attacker could have the technical ability to unlock the Selecao's defence as they seek a positive result after failing to qualify for for the 2012 AFCON.
Hulk and Jonas remain in attack for tonight after a somewhat disappointing performance against Gabon last Thursday. It is a great show of faith from Mano Menezes but he will no doubt be expecting positive results.
Once again the Brazilian squad is formed of foreign-based players due to the ongoing action in the national league. That means there is no Neymar or Ronaldinho and Kaka and Marcelo both withdrew through injury.
Here is the squad Bob Bradley has selected for his first game in charge of the Pharaohs. Egypt (4-4-2): El-Hadary; Fathi, Fathallah, Gomaa, El Mohamady; Hassan, Ghaly, Shikabala, Abd Rabou; Zidan, Moteab.
Brazil continue their World Cup preparation after an average display against Gabon. Mano Menezes makes a few changes and sticks with the 4-4-2 formation. Diego Alves; Daniel Alves, Thiago Silva, David Luiz, Alex Sandro; Hernanes, Lucas Leiva, Fernandinho, Bruno Cesar; Hulk, Jonas.
Hello and welcome to Goal.com's LIVE commentary of the friendly clash between Egypt and Gabon in Doha, Qatar. It is the first time the two sides have met since the 2009 Confederations Cup when Brazil earned a narrow 4-3 victory.
