• Tivoli Stadion Tirol, Innsbruck
The referee chooses to be merciful and blows for full time after just a few seconds of stoppage time. It's finished 0-0 here in Innsbruck - a useful work-out for Roberto Mancini's side, but another lacklustre attacking display, with Vladimir Weiss's attempted lob following Yaya Toure's long ball the only real effort of note. Thanks for joining me for all tonight's action - City return against Besiktas later in the week!
Decent opening for Dynamo as substitute Evans concedes possession on half way, but Johansen saves comfortably from a tame effort from 20 yards. The German side had numbers up there...
Cheikh Matar Gueye
The delivery is whipped to the back post and headed back across goal, but Johansen is able to claim it. City now make their final three changes of the night.
Razak tries an ambitious cross-field pass but it sails behind for a goal-kick. There's been alot of graft from City's youngsters tonight, but in general a lack of real quality going forward. Helan has now conceded a free-kick in a dangerous place, and picks up a yellow card for his troubles.
Weiss has looked lively since coming on, and his cross results in a corner, which Dresden clear comfortably. The Slovkian has looked impressive so far.
City are still searching for a breakthrough but in truth it's been a relatively tame display for the most part. The pace is beginning to drop again as both sets of players begin to look a little weary.
Tevez makes a good run forward following Zabaleta's pass, but he tries one trick too many and loses possession. That's the last contribution from the Argentine for this evening, as young Scapuzzi comes on up front and Johansen replaces Pantilimon in goal.
Abdul Razak is to enter the fray now for compatriot Yaya Toure, who is looking a little tired after 70 minutes of solid running. Karim Rekik is also on for Vincent Kompany, who was feeling his hamstring just now. Looks to be more of a precautionary measure than a serious problem though.
GREAT CHANCE FOR WEISS - SAVED! The Slovakian brings down a long ball with an excellent first touch and tries a lob on the half volley, but Fromlowitz is able to claw the ball away at full stretch. City's corner comes to nothing. Great football all round there!
Some neat passing again from Dynamo, but Robert Koch wastes a promising attack with an optimistic long-range drive which sails wide. Vladimir Weiss is on for City.
Better spell now for Dynamo. Koch makes a good run into the area and goes down under a challenge from Kompany, but the referee waves play on. There was certainly no real claim for a penalty there, but the German side are beginning to play with some confidence again.
An error from Fromlowitz yields the first corner of the match for City. Kolarov delivers but it's headed clear, and Lopes concedes a free-kick. Still no real sign of an opening for the Premier League champions.
It's all City at the moment. Kolarov is enjoying a lot of space down the left hand side. This time he finds young Lopes who turns and crosses, but Dynaom clear. Nir Biton then tries his luck but Fronlowitz deals with the shot.
City have upped the tempo a little in the opening exchanges of the half. Tevez finds Kolarov down the left but his cross is tame and easily cleared.
Trialist Mario Jelavic is on for Sergio Aguero. No sign of any wholesale changes yet for Roberto Mancini's side.
We're underway in the second half!
45' + 1'
And that's it for the first half here in Innsbruck. City started brightly but became languid as the half wore on, whilst they will be thankful that Pantilimon was able to atone for a handling error with a smart save at the near post from Pote. The champions will have to up their game if they're to find a way past this well-organised German outfit. Join us for the second half - live!
Good chance for Dynamo there! Schupan is given time and space to pick out a cross from the left and Pote meets it, but he can only glance his header wide of Pantilimon's goal. Could have done better there, you feel.
Dynamo string some good passes together but Kompany is once again one obstacle too far for the Germans. The half seems to be winding down rather tamely now.
City continue to dominate possession but the final ball is still lacking. Kolarov makes a good run but his pass to Toure is intercepted and Dynamo clear their lines.
Trojan finds more space down the right but his cross is too close to Pantilimon. Yaya Toure then bursts forward on one of his marauding runs, but he is halted at the edge of the area with a well-timed challenge. The Ivorian seems to have taken a knock, but the ball is put out and he's back on his feet.
Good defending again from Dynamo as Aguero tries to find a way through. They look a stubborn outfit defensively and move the ball well on the counter - City will need to up the tempo here if they are to get full control on this match.
Great chance for Dynamo! Trojan sees his free-kick held comfortably by Costel Pantilimon, but a moment later, he spills a tame effort from distance and has to block a point-blank effort from Solga! The corner ultimately comes to nothing. Best moment of the match for the Germans!
Nir Biton becomes the first man in the referee's notebook following a late lunge just outside the Dynamo penalty area. The German side gain some ground down the right hand side but some loose passing allows Kolarov to shepherd the ball behind for a goal-kick.
City are still enjoying the lion's share of the ball but they haven't found a break-through just yet. Dynamo seem content to sit back and hit the Citizens on the counter attack.
Trojan almost connects with a cut-back following aroute-one free-kick, but Vincent Kompany just gets there ahead of the Dynamo man. City fans will be delighted to see their skipper looking sharp already, despite the new season still a month away from commencing.
CHANCE FOR LOPES - BLOCKED! Yaya Toure slides a great through ball to Tevez. The Argentine holds up the ball and lays it back for Lopes, who strikes for goal only for Savic to close the door. Tevez then tries his luck from distance but fails to hit the target.
A rare foray forward from Dynamo this time as Solga stretches to get on the end of a cross from the left, but it's just to high and Savic can clear the lines.
City are enjoying plenty of possession here. They already look more at the races than they did against Al Hilal on Friday night, when they were punished for a tame display.
A fairly tame start to proceedings here. Tevez and Aguero are looking lively and they almost combine to work an opening there but the ball bounces out for a throw-in.
Given the relatively small crowd here, there's a decent noise coming from the stands in this glorious evening in Austria.
TEAM NEWS: Dresden: Kirsten, Savic, Gueye, Bregerie, Trojan, Pote, Losilla, Papadopoulus, Koz, Solga, Schuppan. Manchester City: Pantilimon, Savic, Kompany, K Toure, Kolarov, Zabaleta, Yaya Toure, Biton, Lopes, Aguero, Tevez.
Good evening folks and welcome to tonight's pre-season encounter between Dynamo Dresden and Manchester City here in Innsbruck. We are underway in Roberto Mancini's second match of the champions' tour of Austria...
