I hope you enjoyed my company in what was a strange game to say the least. Until next time...
Dinamo Zagreb 1-1 Dynamo Kiev final score
And there we have it, the full time whistle goes and the home club celebrate it like a victory even though they finish bottom of Group A.
90' + 5'
Yellow Card Ivan Krstanović

Penalty Goal Ivan Krstanović
GOAL!! The penalty is slotted home to give Zagreb their first goal of the competition and you can see how much it means to them as the entire bench rushes onto the field. Brilliant scenes.
90' + 4'
Yellow Card Andriy Yarmolenko
WOW!! This is incredible. As the ref goes to blow for full time Krstanovic is brought down and a penalty is given!!!
90' + 1'
As we head into the final seconds of the game Zagreb throw every one forward. 3 minutes of stoppage time to play.
Taiwo almost too enthusiastic there as he concedes a foul for climbing on the back of two players.
Sammir is a very powerful player. His forward run and clever pass had to be cut out by Taiwo in order to stop a clear opportunity. Good play.
Kiev seem happy with the 1-0 and look reluctant to go forward, leaving the home side frustrated with the lack of space in front of goal.
Sammir had another chance to equalise but was again too composed for his own good. A decent shooting opportunity was pulled back and eventually cleared.
Ideye Brown looked very dangerous in the first half but very quiet in the second. He is replaced by Marco Ruben.
Dudu is getting battered on the wing but he is battling on. His all-white kit is now all brown because of the muddy pitch.
The pitch is in a complete mess right now but at least we are still playing. If I was asked if the game would go ahead after the initial hold up my answer would have been a definitive no!
Will Zagreb get that all elusive goal that they have been waiting for, for so long? I think they will.
Yellow Card Dudu
WHAT A MISS!! Beqiraj has just missed an absolute sitter. As he bore down on goal with no competition, the nerves got the better of his and he spooned it wide of the post. Shocking...
Yarmelenko is coming to life in this second half. A clever flick allowed him to ping a ball into the area but only Dudu, who stands at 5ft3, was waiting. Needless to say nothing amounted from the opportunity...
Brown finds himself offside again. He throws his hands in the air in frustration.
Ibanez has his third effort of the game with a rifled shot which is deflected for a corner. Koval collects comfortably and play resumes.
As the pitch returns back to its natural colour, Sammir rapidly moves into space and rolls the ball wide to Brozovic who can only cannon the ball against a defender. Sammir perhaps should have pulled the trigger himself.
Ibanez tries his luck from distance but he drags his effort wide of goal. Decent connection on the strike.
Brown tries a cheeky flick towards goal before realising he was in an offside position. He is not happy with the decision.
The second half has started the same as the first, long, lumped passes from both teams towards the lonely strikers, before the defenders clear with their heads.
Brozovic booked for a bad challenge on Dudu.
Yellow Card Marcelo Brozović
Here we go again... The second half has begun.
A lovely way to wrap up what has been a mental half of football! See you shortly for another 45 minutes of mayhem!
45' + 1'
Assist Denys Garmash

Goal Andriy Yarmolenko
GOAL!!!!! And what a goal! A sublime instinctive strike by Yarmalinko from the edge of the box hits the bar and drops into the net. Superb volley from the striker!
Ibanez does well to make some space down the left flank and whips a delightful cross into the box. Unfortunately there was no one there to meet it and it goes out for a goal kick.
The home fans have found their voices and despite there only being a small handful in attendance they are making a bit of a racket. They were nearly rewarded when Beqiraj's attempted bicycle kick looked to trouble Koval but he was too close to Mikhalik for anything to happen.
Ideye Brown does well to snatch the ball from a dwindling Simunic but his clipped delivery only finds the opposition's boot.
Substitute: The rain has taken the place of the snow that has dictated the game so far. Good move for both sides I reckon...
After some neat build-up play from Zagreb, Cop almost gets an opportunity to open the scoring. Koval makes himself big and does well to block any danger before going down and holding his face.
Kiev with their first corner of the game and almost take advantage of it. Kelava pounces on the ball and gets covered head to toe in mud for his troubles. Safe hands from the keeper
A bit more head tennis between the two sides before Kelava collects the ball.
Brown plays an excellent through ball to Yarmolenko, only for the forward to continue his run without the ball. Good chance for Kiev, that.
Hang on...What is that?? I think the snow has stopped!!!
WOW!! Mikhalik tries to shield the ball from the onrushing Beqiraj but ends up sprinting towards his own goal, slipping and sliding like Bambi on ice and eventually hoofs the ball out for a corner. Madness...
A powerful shot by Ideye Brown stops instantly on the bounce and does not even make it to the goal, much to the amusement of Kelava between the Zagreb sticks
Another nearly moment there for Zagreb... The back pass to Koval got stuck in the snow and he almost deflected the clearance into his goal via the body of Sammir.
OFF THE BAR!! As the ball drops in the area from a Sammir corner, Cop makes the most of the spillage from the keeper and smashes it off the woodwork. SO CLOSE!
Ideye Brown almost gets through on goal but a good recovering challenge by Simunic wins the ball back for the hosts, leaving the trail of his sliding tackle lvisible in the snow
Yellow Card Domagoj Vida
Vida is booked for a wild lunge in the middle of the park on Dudu and quickly blames the weather. The ref is having none of it.
The referee is happy enough that the conditions are playable, woo hoo!! We have football again, game on...
Staff are trying to clear the pitch and re-paint the markings in a bright red colour but it looks like an uphill battle to get this game going again.
As the clock hits the 10 minute mark the referee collects the ball and orders the players off of the pitch because of the ridiculous weather. The decision is greeted by jeers from the stands. More to follow...
Miguel Veloso hammers a ball into the hosts penalty area from a free kick before the ball is cleared away.
A lot of pumping the ball up the pitch, as you could imagine.
Dudu shows that he is unwilling to let the conditions scupper his ball control as he neatly beats two opposing defenders, however the attack was eventually broken down.
Zagreb have started very brightly here in Croatia. Sammir did well to create space before slotting the ball out wide. Perhaps Brozovic struggled to see the ball because it tamely rolled out of play.
An early chance for the home side. The ball is whipped in by Sammir but is swiftly swept away by the Kiev defence.
And we are off. Let's hope that the game is better than the weather...
Dynamo Kiev (4-2-3-1): Koval, Betao, Mikhalik, Taiwo, Miguel Veloso, Vukojevic, Yarmolenko, Garmash, Haruna, Dudu, Ideye SUBS: Shovkovskiy, Rybalka, Bogdanov, Mehmedi, Marco Ruben, Raffael.
Zagreb (4-2-3-1): Kelava, Ibanez, Simunic, Vrsaljko, Vida, Ademi, Mateo Kovacic, Sammir, Brozovic, Beqiraj, Cop SUBS: Mitrovic, Puljic, Calello, Pivaric, Alispahic, Halilovic, Krstanovic
Right, who wants some team news?
As the music blares from the speakers the brave spectators are hiding from the heavy snow! A truly horrible night to be sat in an open stadium.
When the two teams met in Ukraine last month the game ended in a 2-0 victory for the home side. A headed goal from Oleh Husyev gave Kiev the lead before a miserable own goal wrapped up the scoring.
Although both teams now know that they are eliminated from the Champions League I am expecting this to be a feisty affair. The home side sit at the foot of the table and could equal Anderlecht’s dismal run of 12 losses in the competition if they lose the game, whereas Dynamo Kiev will be keen to build some momentum for when they begin their adventure in the Europa League.
Good evening and a very warm welcome to Goal.com’s coverage of the battle at the bottom in Group A where Dinamo Zagreb of Croatia host Ukraine’s Dynamo Kiev in snowy conditions. My name is Patrick Gleeson and I am your host for the night, you can share your thoughts on tonight’s proceedings with me via Twitter @PattyGlee.
