A. Bedoya 39'
A really strong showing for this group of USA players. Not ideal for the Czech Republic. Three players debut for the USA, Green gets his first start, and the team takes a win in Europe.
Full time! A 1-0 win for the USA with this young side, and a good win it is.
90' + 3'
Foul earned by Green. And this time, it should be about the last action of the match. Brooks throws it forward, Cech bangs it back the other way... and there it is!
90' + 2'
Rimando takes his time with the goalkick but bangs it into touch. One last chance to get forward for the home team.
90' + 1'
Yellow Card Alfredo Morales
90' + 1'
Maybe not, three minutes added on, so the USA has a bit of work left to do.
Altidore draws a foul and that may be just enough to see this game out.
The Americans really holding on here late. Pudil with another chance to put one away, and Rimando again has to make a big save to keep his team in front.
The Czech Republic with two great chances. This second half, after the changes around the hour mark, has been all in favor of the home side, but Rimando makes the saves again and the USA it still 1-0 to the good.
Hyndman with a sloppy pass, but then some great work to go back and win it back for the USA. Nice work from the youngster to track it down, not so nice with the initial ball.
Dangerous ball and that was a chance for the Czech Republic to get back in it. Cross comes in to the back post, and Pudil can't keep his volley down. Would have had to be a great strike, but was a real chance at goal.
Gyau hacked down. Game has a bit of bite to it right now.
Now the USA earns a free kick.
Altidore called for a foul. Not sure about that one. Looked like a good battle.
The United States calming back down now, getting back on the ball, but the home side is back to pressing up the pitch and trying to find a goal.
Shea gives up a free kick there. Rosicky going to ground and winning a chance from a dangerous area for service into the box. Altidore went deep to win it clear.
180year-old Emmerson Hyndman makes his debut. Here's a kid plenty of people have been waiting to see.
A little bit of luck there for the USA, catching the call from the asst. ref for the offside. Didn't look it and the home side was in.
The USA escapes a moment of worry there. The Czech Republic had a couple of decent looks, Rimando makes the save on the second, and the danger is gone, but troubling signs at the back there with all the changes.
Gregory Martin Garza
Chandler stepping off the pitch. Greg Garza coming on. Diskerud is also heading off the pitch, along with Corona. Morales and Brek Shea come on for them.
Rosicky with a lovely ball in over the top and Rimando makes a big save to keep the USA in front.
Brooks picks up foul, sliding in to stop a break. Again, probably deserved a card there, but it's a friendly and he escapes.
Green ducks in from the left and has a hit on his right foot. He claims a corner, ref gives the goalkick, and we move on.
The USA just comfortably swinging the ball around the back. Not the most thrilling stuff, but it's effective right now. The Czrch Republic can't get a touch of the ball.. and as I type that Chandler lets one run out of play.
This Czech Republic team is not very impressive. It's hard to judge if that is because the USA is playing really well, which with this young team could well be the case, or if it's because the Czechs just haven't figured out how to work under their new manager yet. Whatever it is, this team has work to do before Euro qualifying.
Good start to the half from the USA. Still moving quickly and looking assured on the ball.
Second half is off and running
The USA has announced two halftime changes. Rimando on for Guzan and Orozco's night ends for Tim Ream.
There it is, the halftime whistle and you have to be happy if you're a USA fan, not just in the goal, which was kind of a gift, but in the overall play of the team. We'll be back with you shortly.
Just one minute added on, and the USA is just playing keepaway.
The home side has not responded well to going behind. The USA really testing things now, and the Czech Republic looking a little lost at times.
Corona takes a tumble after a foul from Darida.
That was somewhat unexpected, but a really nice job by Diskerud to jump on the bad throw by Cech out of the back. He shot wasn't the best, but forced a rebound and the goal is put in.
Goal Alejandro Bedoya
That was far too easy for the USA. A mistake in the midfield from Darida leads to Diskurd being in on goal. His shot is saved but Bedoya is there to tap it home and make it 1-0.
Now it's Green at the other end, trying to get a cross in and winning a corner for the USA.
A second corner won for the Czech Republic.
Gyau with another run forward on the ball, ends up playing it too long for Altidore, but he's not showed any nerves.
That was close for the Czech Republic! Green gave the ball away and Rosicky rushed forward down the left, slotting it across for Darida who was just a step off finishing into the opening net.
A good opening half hour from the USA. The Czech Republic probably won't be overly happy with this showing so far, what with Euro qualifiers comging up.
Gyau with a dash forward chasing down a lost cause, Cech touches around him to get it clear. The kid has plenty of pace though.
Pilar flashes in from the left and has a hit with his weaker foot. Guzan with a simple save to keep it 0-0.
Good tackle from Fabian Johnson, gets a little lucky and wins a goalkick.
Nice work from Bedoya and Green to slip past the pressure there. Corona took a heavy touch when it fell to him and the USA attack is killed off.
Diskerud tracking back to foul and slow the break. Probably deserved a card but gets away with just the foul.
The Czechs with their first real chance of the game, but Brooks is on hand to get it clear with a really nice tackle. Both sides picking up the pace in the last couple of minutes.
Gyau with a decent move forward and a blast at goal. Saved again by Cech pretty simply, but another of these young players showing the confidence to get forward and take some risks.
Rosicky trying to pull the strings some in the midfield. Not getting what he wants in terms of movement in front of him.
Chandler floats in a cross from the left. Cech picked it out of the air rather easily, but the USA really moving forward rather well. The Czechs are sitting pretty deep, just eating up the pressure for the most part, and doing so very well, but there's plenty of attacking talent in this team.
Wasted ball from Bedoya, but this USA group has not looked bad at all so far. Altidore has barely had a touch, but otherwise it would be hard to pick a side that was edging this match so far.
Brooks strides forward into midfield and picks up a pass from Bedoya and then has a go from 40. Not exactly the area you'd think he'd be the most effective from, but good to see that confidence.
Green with a nice little flsh of pace down the middle. Nothing comes of it. Orozco gets called for a hard tackle and the restart forces Chandler deep, where he wins the ball back by drawing a foul of his own.
This, from the early goings, has the look of a very tough test for the USA. The Czechs are pressing well up the pitch, and have plenty of talent on show tonight.
Ball out for a corner and the Czech's will whip it in, but the USA gets it dealt with.
We're off and running.
That is indeed a young lineup for the USA. Jozy Altidore leads the line, and how badly can that guy use a goal at this point? With Julian Green on one side and Gyau on the other, there is some talent, but very little experience helping with the service.
Let's give you a look at the starting team for the USA; Guzan; Johnson, Orozco, Brooks, Chandler; Bedoya, Corona, Diskerud; Gyau, Altidore (captain), Green.
Welcome in to Goal USA's live call of the USA's first post-World Cup friendly, with Jurgen Klinsmann's men taking on the Czech Republic.
