Full time in Prague. Spain win comfortably over Czech Republic with a 2-0 victory. Scotland can overtake the hosts with a victory tomorrow so it is all to play for it Tuesdays games! Thank you for joining us on Goal.com!
Spain just effortlessly keeping possession at the moment. The Czechs know their fate.
The game is just winding down now. The home side have never really been in the contest and Spain have won the match without breaking sweat.
Czech Republic with a set-piece opportunity down the left wing but opt to play it quickly and try and keep possession in the Spain half.
Unlucky for Michal Kadlec as the left back wriggled inside the box and attempted to whip a strike at goal with his weaker right foot but Casillas managed to save with his legs.
Javi Martinez hits the crossbar! The Atheltic Bilbao midfielders deflected shot had Cech beat but it smashes off the woodwork!
Brilliant save from Petr Cech after Javi Martinez powered into the box and struck a shot to the left hand post but the Chelsea goalkeeper made a great save near the feet of the Spain substitute.
Ambitious shot at goal from Javi Martinez as the substitute attempts a half volley from an extremely tight angle on the right hand side of the Czech Republic box. Unfortunately for Spain it goes well over the crossbar.
As if the Czech Republic did not have a hard enough task. They now have to see out the rest of the game with a man down.
Xabi Alosno has had to go off. He did walk off the pitch which is a good sign. He will be replaced by Javi Martinez.
Red Card Tomas Hubschmann
Tomas Hubschmann is send off for Czech Republic! Absolutely horrendous tackle on Xabi Alonso! A truly terrible tackle. Xabi Alonso is still on the floor.
Wasteful from David Silva as the Spaniard latches on to a Xavi pass down the right hand side, but his pass along the park to Villa was under hit and Czech Republic manage to clear.
Vintage David Villa as the Barcelona man picks up the ball on the left hand side and attempts to curl the ball to the top right corner, but this time it goes just off target.
Czech Republic make a change of their own as Milan Baros is replaced by Tomas Pekhart.
Spain make another substitution as Fernando Torres comes off to be replaced by David Villa, who is looking for his 50th Spain goal.
Neat play on the edge of the box from Mata and Silva, linking up well in a tight space, but the Czechs defended well to clear the ball away.
Good pressing again from the Czech Republic, but Spain are finding ways time and time again to pass their way out of trouble.
Baros wastes a great opportunity for the Czechs. The home side nicked the ball in midfield and Baros claimed the ball before attempting to hit the ball past Pique but the Barca defender showed good strength to reclaim possession.
With the amount of running that Czech Republic are doing off the ball, you would feel that they are going to get fatigued pretty quickly in the match.
Chance for Fernando Torres as the Chelsea striker leaps up well in the box to header at goal from a cross from the left but his header goes straight into the arms of Cech.
The Czechs seem to have a spring in their step after the break. Perhaps they can remain confident to try and create some good chances.
A half time Spain change to report. Carles Puyol has came on to replace Sergio Ramos.
Chance for Czech Republic! Sivok comes in at the back post after a corner kick to slide an attempt at goal but Spain manage to scramble the ball away!
The second half has kicked off on Prague. Czech Republic have a lot of work to do to save this game, but if they can perhaps grab an early goal, then who knows.
Half time is Prague. Spain go in with a comfortable 2-0 lead over Czech Republic and are playing in cruise control.
Outstanding pressing from Spain as Czech Republic gain the ball in midfield but Arbeloa and Alonso closed down until Gebreselassie had to put the ball out for a throw in.
Milan Baros misses a good chance for the Czechs! The Galatasaray forward took his eye off the ball as a glorious cross came in and let the ball slip away!
Spain in complete control at the moment. They are not playing out of third gear and their play is walking pace at times.
Another shot for the home side. Rosicky attempts to glance a strike into the near corner from just outside the box. The midfielder had time to turn but it was a decent effort.
Shot on goal for the Czech Republic as Kadlec picks up the ball in midfield and attempts a shot from far out. Decent strike but Casillas had it covered.
Close again for Spain as Xavi's free kick goes just a whisker over the crossbar. Very unlucky for the Barcelona maestro.
Good defending from Kadlec down the right hand side with a well timed tackle when Juan Mata was driving down towards the by-line.
More of the same from the visitors. The Czechs are showing next to no resistance at the moment.
It has been training ground stuff for Spain so far. Save for a couple of minutes when the Czechs pressed well. It has been extremely one-sided.
Czech Republic have a lot of work to do to save this match now. 2-0 down against Spain is very hard to overcome for any team. Still time though.
Goal Xabi Alonso
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL FOR SPAIN!! Xabi Alonso scores a simple tap in at the back post after Silva got down the right hand side and squared a pass to the penalty spot for his team mate. So simple!
Fernando Torres has not been able to get into the game so far. Although he is one goal away from overtaking Spain legend Fernando Hierro on goals scored for Spain, with 27.
Gebreselassie has made a fairly decent start to the match, he has made a couple of very important headed interceptions so far in the game.
Patient play from Spain at the moment, they are in no rush. Czech Republic are starting to show signs of frustration, with a few late tackles in midfield.
Jiracek does well to latch on to a lazy Busquets pass in midfield and drive down the left hand side but Rosicky's eventual pass to Baros was well intercepted by Pique at the back.
Good cleaning up from Busquets as Czech Republic captain picked the ball up in midfield and turned sharply but the Barcelona manages to nick the ball back and stop any potential attack.
The visitors have needed no time to settle in to the game, they look extremely sharp and are in complete control of the match.
Spain finding themselves camped in just outside their own box but show incredible concentration to effortlessly pass their way out of trouble.
Goal Juan Mata
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL FOR SPAIN!!! It didn't take long did it?! Defence splitting pass from Xavi through to Juan Mata who has time to shuffle his feet just in the inside right of the box to slip the ball under Cech!
Impressive closing down from the Czechs at the moment, Spain are being pressed very high up the park, but the home side wont be able to keep this level of intensity up for long.
Spain have got into their groove quickly, they are fluently passing the ball about at the moment.
The match has kicked off in Prague, its a fantastic atmosphere in the stadium!
The teams have made their way on to the pitch and have lined up as the national anthems sound out in front of a vibrant crowd in Prague.
We are in for an interesting match this evening. Spain are already qualified but still field a very strong team against the Czech Republic. If the hosts can manage to win this evening, and Scotland cannot match their result tomorrow, then they will book their play-off place.
This is the starting XI of Spain: Casillas; Ramos, Pique, Albiol, Arbeloa; Busquets, Alonso, Xavi; Silva, Torres, Mata.
The teams are in and this is how Czech Republic will be lining up tonight: Cech; GebreSelassie, Hubnik, Sivok, Kadlec, Hubschman, Jiracek, Kolar, Rosicky, Pudil, Baros.
