A. Vidal 57'
Although Juventus were efficient in their performance, the scoreline doesn't tell the whole scoreline from this match, as Catania caused the away side a lot of problems - especially on the break.
Full time in Sicily, as an unlucky Catania side fail to pick up any points against the league leaders. Refereeing decisions will dominate the headlines, as Bergessio was denied a rightful goal.
90' + 5'
Bonucci blasts a second long range strike over the bar, if his side were in different circumstances, Conte might care about it.
90' + 3'
Giovinco races with Legrottaglie, the Catania central defender looks to clip and bring down the pacey Italian, but the referee waves it away. That could easily have been a second red card for the home side.
90' + 2'
Yellow Card Simone Padoin
90' + 2'
Bendtner is terrible again, and Vidal shows his frustration. The Dane wearily made his way forward with the ball, but inside of crossing the ball, he somehow manages to give it to Andujar under minimal pressure.
90' + 1'
Oooooh, Giovinco should have put the game beyond doubt! The little Italian ghosts past a couple of Catania players, but fires his effort narrowly over the bar from a good position. He should have done much better there.
Morimoto is outmuscled by Asamoah as he chased after a stray ball in the Juve area, goes down dramatically, and the referee rightly decides not to point to the spot.

Bendtner beats Legrottaglie, forces Andujar to close him down and only has to play a two yard ball to play in one of his teammates. The Dane fails to find a black and white shirt, however.
Despite being down to ten men, Catania are putting pressure on the away side, but Buffon is yet to be tested.
Two corners in quick succession both cause problems for Juve, as the first hits the side netting, the second is flapped at by Buffon.
Morimoto replaces Gomez for the home side, as the exhausted winger is sacrificed for some fresh legs.
Giovinco is involved straight away, and the impressive Andujar is forced to beat away his strike for yet another Juve corner.
Giovinco replaces Vucinic, who, like Bendtner, hasn't had the best game.
Juve waste possession yet again, as Bonucci plays a terrible cross across the opposition's area, allowing the home side to look to break again - which is the situation in which they look dangerous.
Vidal plays a cutting pass in between Spolli and Rolin, looking for Vucinic, but the latter manages to recover well to bully Vucinic on the ball and jockey the striker wide.
Catania lack the final cutting pass yet again, after good work from Rolin found Castro, who jinked past a defender and centred the ball - but it failed to reach any of his teammates.
Vidal finds himself in possession the opposition area, nutmegs Almiron to find Vucinic at the edge of the 18 yard box, but the Montenegro striker fails to jink his way past his first man.

Bergessio is denied the opportunity to turn in the Juve area, as he looks to shoot, and is crowded out by black and white shirts. He was an isolated figure against Inter, and is taking up a similar role today.
First change of the game is Catania's as Barrientos is replaced by Castro. The reshuffle could be down to Marchese's red.
Yellow Card Arturo Vidal

Yellow/Red Giovanni Marchese
Second yellow card for Marchese! The home side are down to ten men, after receiving two cards for handball. The wide man may feel aggrieved as his first yellow was harsh.
Pogba throws himself to the floor, holding his face, as Spolli robs the ball off his foot. He was caught with a forearm, but I'm under the impression that the Frenchman perhaps wanted a penalty there.
CLOSE! Vidal close to another goal in this game, but drags his shot just wide of Andujar's post.

Bendtner starts the second half in the same vein as the first, being caught offside twice within the opening two minutes.
The referee blows the whistle to restart proceedings! Hopefully the officiating is more rational in the second half!
Nicklas Bendtner has been given a chance in this match, but is yet to justify his selection, the loanee striker will have to up his game in the second half to prove his worth.
Other than the disallowed goal, Catania have got plenty of reasons to be optimistic for the second half, as Juventus have definitely not managed to get control of this game yet.
45' + 1'
The referee calls time on an eventful first half, which has seen six yellow cards and a perfectly legal goal ruled out for offside! Catania have every right to be aggrieved about the decision, but need to keep their focus if they are to get anything from this match.
That's way over from Pirlo, that's a poor free kick effort by anyone's standards, not just his own high ones.
Almiron concedes a free kick in an area where Pirlo may look to have an effort at goal.
Andujar is busy again, this time to beat away a swerving Pirlo strike!

Yellow Card Giovanni Marchese

Lodi fires a shot well wide, after good work down the left from Gomez and Marchese presented him with the ball at the edge of the box.

A great sliding tackle from Vidal prevents Almiron from having a shot on goal, Juve break but their play is stopped by Rolli's hand. The Catania defender picks up the first yellow of the game.
