  • And that's full time. Bayern win 7-1, with Gomez bagging a hat-trick, and Robben netting a brace. A great return to form, tainted only by the injuries to Boateng, and possibly Robben. The gap at the top of the Bundesliga is cut to four points, but Borussia Dortmund can restore their seven-point lead with a victory over Augsburg later. Stay tuned to for all the reaction to this match, and the league leaders' encounter.
  • 89'
Big worry for Bayern. Arjen Robben has gone down under a nasty challenge from Braafheid. He shows no sign of getting up. A completely pointless tackle from Braafheid.
  • 88'
So close for Rudy, who curls a free-kick into Neuer's side-netting. Not a bad effort.
  • 87'
    SubstitutionBoris Vukcevic Dominik Kaiser
  • 87'
    SubstitutionTobias Weis Peniel Kokou Mlapa
  • 86'
Olic is presented with an opportunity to restore the seven-goal advantage, but can't get the ball out of his feet, and the chance slips away.
  • 85'
    Own Goal Luiz Gustavo
  • 83'
Ryan Babel is caught offside - he really has had a thankless task today. He's had next to no service to work off.
  • 82'
Robben plays a lovely one-two with Ribery, but as he puts the ball back into the danger-zone, nobody is there to make it 8-0, and Hoffenheim survive.
  • 81'
The hosts seem content to win with this already-convincing margin; passing the ball around casually, with little thought of pumping it forward.
  • 78'
Ribery plays a neat ball between two defenders for Olic, but he's soon closed down as he looked to notch his side's eighth goal.
  • 76'
After a long string of passes, Compper fouls Olic, and Bayern have free-kick 30 yards from goal. They work it out to the opposite side of the pitch, and set up Kroos for a long-range shot, which drifts harmlessly wide.
  • 75'
Tymoshchuk is back on, and is fit enough to play a neat pass to Lahm. No reason for Bayern fans to fear.
  • 74'
And the home support have begun their Mexican wave. They know this is no longer a contest.
  • 73'
Bayern may have to finish the game with 10 men - Tymoshchuk has gone down holding his back, and seems to be in some distress.
  • 72'
    Yellow Card Boris Vukcevic
  • 70'
ROBBEN!!! The Dutchman shows some slick feet in the box, before chipping the ball across the face of goal, only for Starke to claim it. The Hoffeinheim goalkeeper hasn't had that bad a game, considering the scoreline.
  • 69'
David Alaba and Franck Ribery combine well on the left, and win a corner. Kroos plays it short, and soon wins a second corner.
  • 66'
The substitutions seemed to have killed Bayern's momentum a little bit. Neuer is called into a rare bit of action, easily claiming a corner.
  • 64'
Robben plays in Olic, who can't pull the trigger before being closed down. Can Bayern score even more goals?
  • 62'
    SubstitutionRoberto Firmino Sandro Wieser
  • 62'
    SubstitutionThomas Müller Bastian Schweinsteiger
  • 61'
SO CLOSE!! Muller lets fly with a powerful effort aimed straight for the near corner, but Starke gets down low and produces a great save. It's his last action of his game, however, and Schweinsteiger is coming on, to the delight of the crowd.
  • 60'
Things could be about to get a whole lot worse for Hoffenheim - Bastian Schweinsteiger is coming on.
  • 58'
    Assist Arjen Robben
  • 58'
    Goal Franck Ribéry
GOAL!!!! Ribery gets in on the act!! A Hoffenheim corner is cleared towards Robben, who dodges a couple of challenges down the right, before sending a defence splitting ball to Ribery. The Frenchman takes it around Starke and puts it in the empty net. 7-0!
  • 56'
    SubstitutionM. Gómez Ivica Olic
  • 56'
And Bayern are using their second substitute, replacing Gomez, who is limping slightly, with Ivica Olic, who will get just over half an hour to showcase his first team credentials.
  • 55'
Almost another! Muller chests the ball down, but as he looks to apply a simple finish, Vorsah comes across, almost inadvertently putting it in his own net. It only seems a matter of time until 7-0 arrives.
  • 54'
Off the bar!! Ribery plays a corner short to Alaba, whose cross finds Badstuber at the far post. The centre-back's looping header looks destined to creep in, but Starke touches it onto his bar.
  • 52'
Thomas Muller, who has been the quietest of Bayern attackers, strides forward, but gives the ball away. The hosts are finding an astounding amount of space in the Hoffenheim half. The visitors have really shot themselves in the foot here.
  • 50'
The hosts are clearly in the mood for more. David Alaba comes forward from left-back, and skies a left-footed well over the bar.
  • 48'
    Assist Arjen Robben
  • 48'
    Goal M. Gómez
And another goal!! Robben puts the ball into the middle, and Gomez peels off his man, and heads it past Starke, despite Vorsah's best efforts on the line. Hat-trick for Gomez, and 6-0 to Bayern!
  • 47'
And Bayern have won an early corner, with Braafheid putting a cross over.
  • 46'
    SubstitutionJerome Boateng Anatoliy Tymoshchuk
  • 46'
And we're back! One change at half-time, with Anatoliy Tymoshchuk replacing Jerome Boateng, who has a knee problem. Gustavo has dropped back to centre-back, with the Ukrainian taking up a post in midfield.
  • And that's the last action of the first half. Bayern Munich have been totally dominant, with Gomez and Robben bagging a brace each, and Kroos adding one more. Great game so far, and surely there will be more fireworks in the second half.
  • 45' + 1'
Bayern decide to work the corner, and it eventually finds its way to Kroos, who mishits his volley and it drifts out for a goal kick.
  • 45'
Ribery bares down on goal, but as he looks to pull the trigger, Vorsah gets across and puts it out for a corner.
  • 44'
Lovely challenge from Boateng. Firmino receives the ball, and looks to play in Weis, who is soon closed down by the former Manchester City man.
  • 42'
That should be 6-0. Gomez receives the ball in the area, but decides to indulge in some step-overs rather than shooting, before chipping the ball to Muller, who sends the ball agonisingly across the face of goal... So close, though.
  • 39'
Strange incident in the Hoffenheim area. Mario Gomez brings down a high ball on his chest, but his second touch hits his arm, and the referee blows for a free-kick to the visitors. Compper, however, thought the officials had awarded a second penalty, and looked rather worried.
  • 37'
Hoffenheim have a rare sight of goal, with Firmino sending a 20-yard effort past Neuer's goal. It could be a quiet afternoon for Germany's number one.
  • 35'
    Assist Franck Ribéry
  • 35'
    Goal M. Gómez
GOAL!!!!! 5-0, and Mario Gomez has his second of the day! Robben sprays the ball to the left to find Ribery, who puts the ball straight on to Gomez's head. Surely it's merely a question of how many Bayern will score now...
  • 33'
Babel receives the ball in the corner, but as he moves inside, he's starved for company. He eventually finds Vukcevic, who is smothered before he can do any damage.
  • 31'
So, just half an hour in and Bayern already have this one in the bag. Hoffenheim have barely touched the ball....
  • 29'
    Assist Franck Ribéry
  • 29'
    Goal Arjen Robben
GOAL!!!! No matter for Bayern. Ribery beautifully finds Robben, who resists the urge to set up Muller for a simple tap in, rounds Starke and passes the ball into the net. The Dutchman gets his second of the match!
  • 28'
SO CLOSE TO 4-0!! Kroos plays a lovely one-two with Robben, but when he receives the ball, he founds himself surrounded by Hoffenheim players. He still manages to get a shot away, but it drifts inches wide.
  • 27'
Great tackle! Gomez tries to thread a through ball into the path of Muller, who had made a great run, but Vestergaard gets across to block the German.
  • 25'
Ribery plays a deft touch to find Alaba, who had made a run down the left wing. Unfortunately for Bayern, the Austrian can't match his French team-mate's exploits, and gifted the ball straight to Vorsah.
  • 24'
Casual as you like, Bayern are passing the ball around in the centre of the park. They've been absolutely rampant in the opening stages here.
  • 23'
Holger Badstuber steps up to take the kick. The centre-back's initial effort strikes the wall, and his follow up is blocked. Could have done better.
  • 21'
Bayern Munich have a free-kick on the edge of the box. Robben is challenged by Braafheid, and the referee rightly blows up. Robben looks to be in agony.
  • 18'
    Assist Franck Ribéry
  • 18'
    Goal Toni Kroos
GOAL!!!! Toni Kroos receives the ball about five yards outside the box, picks his spot, and drives it past Starke. Great response from Bayern Munich to their recent woes!
  • 18'
Finally a shot from Hoffenheim. Ryan Babel is surrounded by a sea of red, but manages to get a shot away. It takes a deflection and goes well wide.
  • 17'
Much better from Ribery, who darts inside and crosses to Robben, who takes a swing and a miss at the inviting ball...
  • 15'
Alaba feeds Ribery on the left, but as the Frenchman attempts to take the ball in-field, he is under heavy scrutiny from the visitors' ranks, and is hassled out of possession.
  • 13'
An in-swinging Hoffennheim corner is headed away easily by the Bayern defence. The home crowd are buoyant.
  • 12'
    Assist Philipp Lahm
  • 12'
    Penalty Goal Arjen Robben
GOAL!!! Robben makes no mistake from the spot, sending Starke the wrong way. It's 2-0 to the hosts!
  • 11'
Penalty!!!! Philipp Lahm makes a break into the box, but when he tries to set Gomez up, the striker is fairly challenged. Lahm takes possession of the ball, but is scythed down by Compper.
  • 10'
Ryan Babel makes a dart into the Bayern box, but the Dutchman's touch is poor and it runs harmlessly out for a goal kick for the hosts.
  • 9'
What an awful start for Hoffenheim. It's only now that the visitors are starting to string a few passes together. Meanwhile, Gomez is back on the pitch, but is moving quite gingerly.
  • 7'
Gomez is still down, receiving treatment on his ankle, it seems. Would be a huge blow for Bayern if their main striker picks up an injury, especially with Basel to visit in midweek.
  • 5'
    Goal M. Gómez
GOAL!!!! Bayern Munich take the lead!! Muller motors down the right and centres the ball, and although Starke gets a hand to it, Mario Gomez is there to break his month-long goal drought! It's a bitter-sweet moment for Bayern, though, as Gomez goes down in the wake of scoring.
  • 4'
More intent-filled, attacking play from Bayern. Ribery terrorises the Hoffenheim back line down the left, but once again his ball is cleared.
  • 3'
Another Bayern Munich corner, this time from the right side of the pitch. Robben swings the ball in low, but Starke gets across to pad away the danger.
  • 1'
And Bayern immediately go on the attack! Some sloppy play in the centre of the park gifts Ribery the ball. The Frenchman motored into the box, and tried to pull the ball back, only for Vestergaard to clear it for a corner, which is promptly wasted. Great start!
  • 1'
And we're off! Hoffenheim get the game started.
  • The teams are out at the Allianz Arena and we're just moments away from kick-off.
  • The teams are out at the Allianz Arena and we're just moments away from kick-off.
  • A late change in starting line-ups. Fabian Johnson will not take his place on the right side of the Hoffenheim defence, with Isaac Vorsah replacing him.
  • So, with kick-off just 10 minutes away, what are your predictions? Will Bayern halt their poor run of form and beat Markus Babbel's side? Can Hoffenheim record a surprise victory and heap the pressure on Jupp Heynckes? You can contact me on Twitter (@eniskoylu), and join in the debate!
  • Meanwhile, the visitors star with: Starke; Johnson, Vestergaard, Compper, Braafheid; Williams, Rudy; Vukcevic, Firmino, Weis; Babel ...
  • The teams are in. Bayern Munich will begin the match with Neuer; Lahm, Boateng, Badstuber, Alaba; Gustavo, Kroos; Robben, Muller, Ribery; Gomez. Bastian Schweinsteiger is back from his injury, and takes up a place on the bench.
  • The Bavarians will hope to curb their poor run of form, and grab some much-needed confidence ahead of their crucial Champions League clash with Basel in midweek. Hoffenheim, meanwhile, are comfortable in mid-table, but will be aware that a couple of bad results could drag them into an unwanted relegation battle.
  • Good afternoon and welcome to's live coverage of Hoffenheim's trip to Bayern Munich.
