Penalty to Roma as Borriello goes down under Glik's challenge. The Lupi have a chance to win the game now as Glik is sent off. Chance for Totti's hat-trick. Incredible, Totti misses his penalty as Gillet touches it onto the post.
Great cross from Alvarez to the back post, but Doni plucks it out of the air with great hands to stop Huseklepp from knocking the ball into the back of the net. Roma almost caught out.
Close from Bari as Bentivoglio tries to curl one around the post, forcing Doni to scramble to his left, but the ball flies wide. The Puglia-based side are being ecouraged to shoot on site by their coach.

Roma have it back with Pizarro. He finds Taddei on the right who crosses deep, but the ball is headed out. The visitors on the rampage for a third.
Just under 20 minutes remain here and the match can go either way at the moment. The Lupi are playing well despite having De Rossi sent off soon after the restart.
Perrotta with a great ball over the top, but Borriello's control takes it behind him and the chance is wasted as Bari defenders scramble back to ensure the danger is dealt with.
Romero goes on a run for Bari, but he is booked by the referee after handling the ball on his way towards the Roma box.

Free kick to Bari in a good position near the corner flag as Cassetti fouls Huseklepp. It's crossed in, but Roma clear with Riise.
Roma in big trouble at the San Nicola as they are a man down and a goal down.

De Rossi is sent off for Roma who are reduced to 10 men as things get from bad to worse after elbowing Bentivoglio.
The ball falls kindly for Huseklepp but he swings at thin air inside the box and Roma scramble clear.
Major change for Roma as Borriello comes on for Menez as the second half kicks off. Bari restart the game.

Roma have been below par tonight as we approach half time. Apart from the odd piece of individual magic from Totti and Menez, Montella's men have been awful.

Goal for Bari. Huseklepp glances a great header into the bottom corner as he latches onto Romero's cross from the right. He is all unmarked and it's too easy. Roma all at sea.
Perrotta fancies a shot from distance, but the veteran's right foot strike sails high and wide as Gillet looks on.
Totti shoots, it hits Parisi's arm and there are appeals for a penalty, but the referee waves play on. To be fair the Bari man had his back to the ball.
Great give and go from Menez and Totti, but the Frenchman fires wide of the mark under no pressure at all. Roma dictating the play.
Less than 10 minutes remain. Bentivoglio goes down but there is no free kick. Vucinic has it but he gives the ball away. The striker has struggled this half
Both teams appearing to cancel each other out as Totti come on the charge, but the move breaks down. Bari holding firm as Cassetti tries to get things going.
Bari have it all to do again here at the San Nicola. Their lead lasted less than five minutes. Totti lethal; his free kick unstoppable.

Goal for Roma. Totti smashes a free kick from outside the box and he picks out the corner of the net as the ball flashes past the wall and Gillet. It's goal 13 of the season for the captain as the Lupi are back on level terms. What a strike!
Belmonte takes a knock to his chest for Bari and he comes off the pitch for treatment. He is soon back on his feet though. Play resumes and the ball is with Roma.
Bari will leave Serie A with their heads held high if they win here tonight. Roma have looked average. Montella is not looking impressed on the bench as hopes for points here take an early blow.

Penalty! Bari win the penalty as Juan handles a cross. Bentivoglio scores it and grabs his first goal of the season as he slots the ball down the middle. Roma in trouble.
Neither side are creating any chance worthy of mention. Montella seems visibly satisfied on the bench though.
Totti whips one in as he tries to pick out Vucinic but both Glik and Masiello combine to clear it.
Bari enjoy a little spell of possession. Kopunek cuts in and finds Bentivoglio, but the ball is behind him and it goes out for a goalkick.
Bari have everyone behind the ball when Roma attack, making it tough for the visitors to make leeway going forwards.
Roma are in command and in control as they dominate possession. Totti turns and goes on one of his runs, but he loses the ball to Belmonte who intercepts him.
Menez wins another corner for Roma which Totti will take. It's deep, Riise picks it up and tries to cross for Juan on the far post, but it's cut out by Gazzi.
Corner to Roma as Vucinic's effort is deflected wide. Totti crosses, Vucinic scores with his head but it's chalked off for an infringement in the box. It's taken again by Totti, but this time the ball is cleared by Bari.
Bari's turn to attack. Again it's Parisi's run on the left which causes concern for Roma. It's crossed in, but Riise is there to head clear.
Totti tries to work something. He finds De Rossi who tries to slip in Vucinic with a chipped throughball, but the Montenegrin fails to read it and the chance fizzles out as Gillet comes to gather the ball.
Parisi with the run and cross from the left. He hangs the ball up high, Kopunek makes the run at the far post, but he fails to make contact with the ball as he slides in. Roma escape.
Free kick to Bari. It's whipped into the box, Masiello rises high and connects with his head, but the ball flashes wide of goal.
And we are off. Roma in black and orange. Bari all in white. Cassetti goes for the early cross, but Gillet catches with no problems. The Capitolini have started with emphasis on going forward.

Bari are mathematically relegated as of last week following defeat against Sampdoria, and so the Puglia-based side are playing for pride against Roma. The Giallorossi won the reverse 1-0 thanks to Juan's goal, and they won this fixture last year 1-0 when Mirko Vucinic scored the winner. Vincenzo Montella's men are four points behind Lazio who are in fourth and play Juventus tomorrow.
