This will be a scrappy relegation six-pointer...
Things look doomed and gloom for Bari as they continue to struggle with the 'Second Season Syndrome'. The Biancorossi are right at the foot of the table of Serie A with just nine points from 13 games and are three points from safety.
Giampiero Ventura's side lost their second league fixture in a row last weekend when they went down 1-0 in Catania. Bari are in a wretched run of results that has seen them go winless in the league since September.
On the positive side of things, both of Bari's wins in Serie A so far this season have come at the San Nicola and against fellow strugglers Cesena they will be looking to add a third to that tally. This is going to be a huge game for them - a defeat would be massively demoralising.
Seeking Maiden Away Win
Cesena are one of six teams in the Italian top flight who have yet to win away from home in the league. The Seahorses' early season form has long since eroded as they have plummeted to second from bottom in the table.
Cesena are currently stranded with just 11 points from 13 matches and have the same number of points as 18th-placed Brescia. Their poor away form in the league means that they will have a tough task on their hands in Bari.
To add to the misery of Massimo Ficcadenti's side, they have lost their six of their last seven competitive games. Things are swiftly going out of control at the Stadio Dino Manuzzi - a defeat to Bari in this relegation clash will be a huge blow in their quest to retain first division status.
Salvatore Masiello, Castillo, Barreto, Ghezzal, Kutuzov and Romero are out injured for the hosts.
Caserta is injured and Appiah is suspended.
