So that's it from us tonight, hope you enjoyed another fantastic display from arguably the greatest team in the world. Before you go, listen to this. Xavi made 120 successful passes tonight before being substituted on 62 minutes. That's more than any other player in La Liga this season in one game. Incredible stuff. Next up for Barca is a trip to local rivals Espanyol. Sociedad will be looking to bounce back at home versus Valencia. Thanks for joining us, i've been Luke Matthews. Goodnight.
Breathtaking stuff from Barca yet again who return to the top of La Liga. Two goals from Messi and goals from Villa, Iniesta and Bojan hand the Catalans another 5-0 victory this season. Sociedad gave it there all but could not interrupt the machine that is Barcelona. Who can stop them?

5-0! This time it's Bojan's turn to score. The ball breaks to the diminutive striker on the right who sees his 15 yard effort saved by Bravo. However the ball comes straight back to the young Spaniard who makes no mistake in hammering the ball into the roof of the net.
Another majestic performance from Barca who look unstoppable this season.
PHENOMENAL GOAL BY MESSI! Barca decide to attack as Bojan slides in Messi on the right side of the box. The Argentinian then runs across the whole of the Sociedad back-line, yes four defenders, before slotting the ball past Bravo. 42 goals in 2010. Wow.
The away team have hardly touched the ball all night but at the moment the ball appears to be stuck in the middle of the field with Barca more than content with their 3-0 lead.
Valdes has now gone over 600 minutes without conceding a goal, breaking his own record.
Barca continue to keep control of the ball as Sociedad remain ultra defensive as we head into the final 10 minutes.
MESSI HITS THE POST! More brilliant play by Barca with Maxwell and Messi linking up well. The Argentinian bamboozles his way past two Sociedad defenders before smashing a great effort off the top of the post.
Maxwell breaks and whips in a dangerous ball into the box but neither Villa or Bojan can get on the end of it as it rolls out for a goal-kick.
It has got to be said that Alves has been brilliant tonight. The Brazilian has made more passes in La Liga this season than any other players.
Barca are trying to out-Barca themselves at the moment as Iniesta and Villa play a series of neat one-twos in the Sociedad box before the ball gets put out for a corner.
There's a lack of urgency from the home side at the moment with Messi and co starting to showboat. Cannot really fault the effort put in by Sociedad who have played to their maximum.
Keita replaces Xavi with the win on the cards. Surprisingly Xavi has not completed 90 minutes since September.
Penalty appeal for Barca as Iniesta appears to be brought down. The Catalans nearly score anyway as some dodgy defending gifts the ball to Villa who hits the side netting from six yards out.
VERY CLOSE FOR NUMBER FOUR? Alves plays an inviting cross into the box and under pressure from Bojan, Antosegi accidentally flicks the ball with it missing the target by inches.
Sociedad break and whip an inviting ball into the Barca box. However there is no attacker present as Abidal nonchalantly chests the ball back to Valdes.
Pedro comes off for the prodigy that is Bojan who will be hoping to add to his three goals this season.
Rather subdued atmosphere at Camp Nou at the moment with all three points already in the bag.
Messi plays the ball to Villa on the left side of the box who tries to play a killer cross into the danger area but Mikel is in the right place at the right time to make the clearance.
Mikel Aranburu Eizagirre
Sociedad make the first change of the game with Aranburu replaced by Zurutuza who will be sure to work a lot in the middle of the park.
This one resembles a training match at the moment with Barca attacking and Sociedad trying to win the ball back, to no avail.
Sociedad look out of ideas at the moment as Barca continue to gently toy with their opposition. Maxwell shows the Catalan giants are human with a rash 20 yard effort that flies way wide.
The quality of all three goals tonight have been top drawer. Score a scrappy goal Barca, go on, I dare you.
MESSI MAGIC! 3-0 BARCA! The Argentinian genius playes THREE one-twos with Alves, in the process beating six Sociedad players before sliding the ball past the helpless Bravo for his 26th goal of the season. Astonishing football from an astonishing team.
Barcelona get us underway in the second-half. It could be a long 45 minutes for their opposition.
So surely tonight could be a case of how many do Barca want? Iniesta and Alves in particular have looked impressive. Also, the Sociedad backline have actually done a decent job at keeping the score down. Will Sociedad get back into this one? Or will Barca run away with it like they often do? Stay with us for the second-half to find out.
HALF-TIME! Barca have been at their sensational best so far tonight with goals from David Villa and Andres Iniesta contributing to a two goal lead. Their passing seems effortless and it really looks impossible for Sociedad to get back into this one. Could be damage limitation for the Basque club who themselves have been in good form of late.
45' + 1'
Barca look like adding a third when Maxwell crosses to Pedro who's sliding shot is brilliantly blocked by Bravo. However, the linesman rules that the ball had gone out of play for a goal-kick.
Sociedad will be glad to go into half-time only two goals behind at the moment as Mascherano shows some clever skill in dispossessing Prieto.
The champions have it so easy at the moment and it's not a case of Sociedad not trying. Barcelona are simply outclassing their opponents tonight, as they have been doing to everyone of late.
The ball breaks to Messi on the edge of the area and once the ball superstar gets it onto his trusted left-foot you would expect the ball to hit the target. Not this time, the ball sails way over the bar.
The home team break at speed as Alves makes his way into the opposition's box. The Brazilian has plenty to aim for in and around the penalty spot but Bravo does well to intercept the cross with a flying save.
Rare venture forward for Sociedad as Prieto's clever back-heel plays the ball to Griezmann just inside the Barca box. However the blonde attacker's powerful strike is blocked well by Abidal and put behind for a corner.
Nearly three. Bravo makes a mess of claiming a ball, parrying it into the path of Villa. However the striker's tries to lift the ball over the 'keepers head who does well to save.
GoalAndrés Iniesta Luján
WHAT A GOAL! Straight off the training ground that one. Patient passing and excellent movement allows Iniesta to play a lovely little one-two with Pedro before the playmaker smashes the ball into the bottom right corner of the net from 12 yards out. Astonishing football and Iniesta's fourth goal of the season.
Alves' blushes are spared by the linesman. After yet more great build-up play the ball finds its way through to Villa who squares it to the unmarked Alves who has an open goal to aim at from four yards out. Somehow the righ-back lets the ball bounce off his leg and to safety but the flag is up anyway for offside.
OFF THE LINE! Villa plays a precise through-ball to Messi who rounds the 'keeper before shooting towards goal. However his effort is cleared off the line by Ifran.
More clever passing from Guardiola's men but the away team are defending in numbers, ten to be precise with Llorente the only player not in the Sociedad defensive third.
Decent spell of possession for the away team at the moment who will be looking to test Abidal's credentials as a centre-half.
NEARLY TWO! Brilliant build-up play between Messi and Villa allows Iniesta to slide a ball into the six yard box. Pedro gets his foot onto the end of it but he misses the target after some decent pressure from the Sociedad defence.
All Barca at the moment who are making lightwork of keeping the ball in midfield.
Great skill by Alves who ghosts past several Sociedad defenders showing great skill before attempting to play a one-two in the box with Villa. Unfortunately for the home contingent Villa's backheel finds the hands of tht 'keeper but great play by Alves nonetheless who has looked particularly lovely this evening.
Alves decides to go for goal from 30 yards but it's not his best effort, missing the target by several yards.
Breakaway by Sociedad and the boy wonder Griezman really should do better. He runs down the wing with pace to burn but third touch is poor and allows Puyol to make a challenge. Shame really as Llorente had pulled off his marker in the box.
Close again from Barcelona. Alves whips in a great ball to the unmarked Pedro. The winger acrobatically volleys the ball into the ground from 10 yards before seeing the ball bounce narrowly over the bar.
So how will the away team respond? Surely their game plan would have involved stifling the champions for as long as possible.
GOL VILLA! Typical fluent build-up play from Barca with Messi playing the ball to Pedro just inside the box who then sends an inviting low cross to Villa who cannot miss from three yards out. Could be a long evening for Sociedad.
Yellow CardJavier Mascherano
Mascherano is the first man to earn a yellow card for a rash challenge on Griezmann. Surprise, surprise.
First shot on goal for Barcelona. After some neat build-up play the ball breaks to Villa 25 yards out from the goal. The Spanish international goes for goal but his powerful effort is straight down the throat of Bravo who claims with ease.
Sociedad have failed to score on their last eight visits to Camp Nou. Will this change tonight?
Nearly an early scare for Barcelona when Valdes drops a ball after some pressure from Llorente. Luckily for the 'keeper the referee awards a free-kick for the home side.
The away team get us underway kicking from right to left. The ball is given away and Barcelona enjoy the early possession.
The champions welcome back a host of familiar names after the midweek Champions League victory over Rubin Kazan. Surely Pep Guardiola's men will return to the summit tonight?
Real Sociedad: Bravo, Martinez, Mikel, Ansotegi, Rivas, Elustondo, Prieto, Aranburu, Llorente, Griezmann, Ifran
Barcelona: Valdes, Alves, Puyol, Abidal, Maxwell, Mascherano, Xavi, Iniesta, Pedro, Messi, Villa
Here come the teams...
