BVB will fancy their chances against the newcomers on Saturday, looking to continue their astonish run of 18 games without defeat against Jos Luhukay's men

Augsburg have a few absentees as they prepare to welcome the German champions to Bavaria. Marcel De Jong and Akaki Gogia are still recuperating from injuries, while Dawda Bah is slowly working his way back to fitness and is unlikely to feature on Saturday.

Borussia Dortmund fans will have to wait at least a week for the return of Germany international Mario Gotze, who is recovering from a knock he picked up earlier this year. Julian Koch will join him in the stands as BVB are set to field a nearly full-strength squad.

Robert Lewandowski is expected to spearhead the attack, while Lucas Barrios and Ivan Perisic will have to settle for a place on the bench.

The Polish winger have been in blistering form of recent and has ensured that Dortmund did not at all feel the absence of Mario Gotze. His superb technique and creativity could prove vital in the unlocking of the Augsburg defence.

Editor's Prediction

If you are willing to throw all your fortune behind one crazy bet, do not back Augsburg in this match. While Jos Luhukay's men have been extremely resilient of late, Borussia Dortmund, who are in blistering form, are likely to have too much for them.
