I'm Alex Moretto, and I'd like to thank you all for joining me today. I hope you enjoyed the action as much as I did! Good bye.
FULL-TIME: AUGSBURG 1-0 BAYER MUNICH. The hosts played a flawless match for 90 minutes, without each of their top two scorers, but still manage to end Bayern's unbeaten run at 53 league matches. Molders' first half goal proved to be the difference, as Bayern struggled to break down the Augsburg defence.
90' + 5'
THAT'S IT! THE FULL TIME WHISTLE SOUNDS! Bayern's dreams of an undefeated season come to a crashing conclusion! Unbelievable scenes at the SGL Arena as Augsburg pull off the incredible upset!
90' + 4'
The ball is lofted into the box and someone gets a head to it, with the referee deciding on a goal kick!
90' + 3'
The three minutes have been played now, but there may be more after Hitz stayed down for quite a while. Mandzukic concedes another free kick and that may do it!
90' + 1'
Into the first of three minutes of added time. The crowd is growing in belief, as are the Augsburg players! Bayern desperately searching for an equalizer. Hitz goes down in the box and stays down, wasting precious time, as Mandzukic and Verhaegh go at it! Hectic moments here at the SGL Arena!
BOBADILLA! Augsburg break on a counter and the Argentine runs to get on the end of a ball. He has a go at goal but strikes it off the post, coming so close to sealing things for the hosts.
Augsburg booting the ball up the pitch every time they win it back. Anywhere will do for them. They're defending admirably in the closing moments, as they have all game.
Muller running to get on the end of a ball played into the box, and he gets behind the defence but slips! He has to adjust his run to get to the ball and just loses his footing. It's been that kind of day for Bayern, who are minutes away from seeing their unbeaten run come to an end!
Yellow Card Jan-Ingwer Callsen-Bracker
Callsen-Bracker does well to defend Mandzukic, but the Croatian goes down rather theatrically after losing the ball, winning a foul. The centre-back has some choice words for Mandzukic after being shown yellow.
Yellow Card Mitchell Weiser
Weiser is the latest player to find himself in the referee's book as he's forced into a foul after being beaten along the left.
Schweinsteiger gives it away rather uncharacteristically, allowing Augsburg to break on the counter. Molders is fouled and that will be the last we see of him today. His goal is still the difference, and could it be the one to bring Bayern's 53 league match unbeaten run to an end?
Yellow Card Daniel Van Buyten
Hojbjerg has been a bright spot for Bayern, as he makes another nice run and wins a free kick just outside the right of the box. It's played in but can't be directed towards goal, eventually being played out for a goal kick.
Gotze tries his luck from far out. Bayern doing everything they can to put the ball on target. They're beginning to sense that time is running out on their undefeated season!
MULLER! Alaba makes a lovely run, dancing along the touch-line before slipping it in for Muller in front of goal. He re-directs the pass onto goal, but Hitz comes out to make the save! Bayern running out of time here...
STAT ATTACK: Bayern is the last of the top five Bundesliga teams Augsburg still has to host this season. They have four defeats from four matches at the SGL Arena against top five teams. They have been outscored 11-3 in those matches.
Callsen-Bracker is a rock in defence for Augsburg. He's beating Mandzukic to nearly every ball played into the box. Great stuff from the central defender.
Bayern starting to amp up the pressure here. Augsburg keeping their shape well at the back and preventing the visitors from finding a way through at the moment.
ALABA! Mandzukic lays the ball off for the Austrian who lets fly from a few yards outside the box. His strike makes it through the mess of bodies and rings off the inside of the post!
STAT ATTACK: Augsburg are the only team yet to keep a clean sheet in Bundesliga play since the start of 2014.
Yellow Card Matthias Ostrzolek
Ostrzolek is shown yellow now after a hard collision with Manuel Neuer - not the man you want to upset. Neuer not at all happy with the left-back who blocked the path of the keeper after he collected the ball inside the box.
Dangerous looking corner sent in by Augsburg, but Neuer is fearlessly out to punch it away, but only as far as Baier. The midfielder hits it straight into the crowd of bodies, where it's eventually cleared despite claims for a handball.
Alaba takes the ensuing free kick but it never troubles the goal. Another chance goes begging for Bayern.
Yellow Card Jeong-Ho Hong
The first yellow card of the afternoon is shown to Hong as he pulls back Hojbjerg. Schweinsteiger in shock as he thought it was worth of a red card, with his teammate in behind the defence.
Hojbjerg goes down in the box looking for a penalty but nothing is given! The Dane had the opportunity to continue his run, which perhaps would have been a wise decision as he goes to ground and the attack goes begging.
GREAT SAVE NEUER! Esswein breaks into the box after a nice run and beats Van Buyten easily, but can't beat Neuer with his final shot, as the keeper gets out to deny the winger!
JUST OVER THE BAR! Another ball played into the box, this time Javi Martinez gets on the end of it but sends it inches high!
MANDZUKIC! Sallahi races forward and gets on the end of a pass. He crosses it in wonderfully for the Croatian forward who glances his header just wide of the far post! Glorious chance for Bayern to equalize!
Mario Gotze comes on for the second half, as Bayern kick-off and get us underway. The visitors have 45 minutes to keep their dreams of an unbeaten season alive.
STAT ATTACK: Bayern have gone 65 league games scoring at least one goal. The last time they were held scoreless was in April of 2012, a 0-0 draw with Mainz.
We'll see how keen Guardiola is on keeping their undefeated record in league play based on what substitutions he decides to make in the second half. Will he risk injuries and fatigue to bring on more proven talent? Or will he keep Weiser, Hojbjerg and Sallahi in the match with the hopes of them finding some chemistry?
HALF-TIME: AUGSBURG 1-1 BAYERN MUNICH. The hosts got off to a very positive start, and kept that going throughout the opening 45 minutes, testing the Bayern defence time and time again. The visitors are a bit disjointed as a result of the multitude of changes to the starting XI by Pep Guardiola.
Not even a second of injury time as referee Manuel Grafe blows the half-time whistle, sending Augsburg into the locker room with the lead!
Bad news for Bayern as Javi Martinez is down injured after making a nice defensive play, running the width of the pitch to sniff out an attack. We'll see if he carries on here. Of course he is suspended for their Champions League match, so the risk of his continuing is minimized as a result.
Bayern defending with a very high line, as they look more interested in winning the ball and pressing for an equalizer. Kroos plays in Hojbjerg who makes a nice run on the left, but his cross in for Mandzukic is cleared by Hong.
Molders again beats Van Buyten, as the aging centre-back is struggling to keep track of the forward. The striker gets on the end of another pass, but hits a weak shot that Neuer can collect.
Weiser, trying to atone for his earlier mistake, gets forward in possession and tries to play in Mandzukic but mishits his cross and it goes behind for a goal kick.
STAT ATTACK: Molders' goal is the first Augsburg have scored against Bayern at the SGL Arena since November 6, 2011 (Hajime Hosogai).
Bayern seem to be shocked to life here following the Augsburg goal. They resume play and immediately move up the pitch winning a free kick. Schweinsteiger takes it, but hits it well over the bar.
Assist Daniel Baier
Goal Sascha Mölders
GOOOOOOOOAL! Baier does incredibly well to win the ball off Weiser in midfield and fend of a couple of challenges before playing in Molders who takes no more than a couple of touches before firing his shot into the top corner!
Bayern keep possession well in the attacking third, forcing Augsburg to chase. The hosts are doing a good job of keeping their shape, however, as Bayern struggle to find a way through and make the most of their time on the ball.
WHAT A CHANCE! Verhaegh sends an excellent ball forward for Esswein on the right, who then crosses in to a wide open Altintop near the far post. The Turkish international hits the shot first time, but Neuer somehow gets over to make the save! He won't be beaten!
STAT ATTACK: Augsburg have failed to score in each of their last five meetings with Bayern across all competitions.
Marwin Hitz has been very confident thus far in goal for the hosts, claiming every ball that's sent into the box. He isn't playing with an ounce of fear as he dives in this time to collect a Toni Kroos corner kick.
Bayern create a turnover in midfield and break through Hojbjerg. The 18-year-old makes a nice run on the ball, and opts to go for goal, but Callsen-Bracker stands his ground, blocking the effort and winning back possession for the hosts.
Shaqiri plays a ball towards the center for Pizarro. The Peruvian can't control the ball, but it falls for Kroos in a good shooting position. The midfielder, however, rather uncharacteristically mishits it and never threatens the goal.
Bayern are really struggling to put any pressure on the opposing goal, despite their 58 percent possession. Sallahi is getting up well in attack, and making some nice over-lapping runs, but is just lacking the final ball at the moment.
The sweeper keeper strikes again! A scramble in midfield falls to Augsburg, and somehow they have two men played in behind the Bayern defence. Neuer comes running well out of his box, just beating Molders to the ball and clearing it beyond the touch-line.
Augsburg break on the counter, moving the ball up the pitch with pace. Holzhauser sends a low cross in for Molders who dives to meet it, but can't get enough on his re-direction to beat the world class Bayern keeper.
SHAQIRI! The Swiss international gets the ball about 25 yards out, looks up and lets fly! It's a good effort, but rolls just a couple of inches wide of the near post with Hitz scrambling to get across.
STAT ATTACK: Bayern have posted a perfect 7-0-0 record all-time against Augsburg.
Holzhauser takes it, and smacks the ball into the wall of defenders. Bayern regain possession and slowly move it up the pitch.
Augsburg creating havoc at the back for Bayern with some nice runs and even better ball movement. Baier gets it at the top of the box and is fouled by Schweinsteiger, winning a free kick in a very dangerous position.
The first chance of the match falls to the hosts as Ostrzolek gets up from his left-back position and forces a nice diving stop out of Neuer with his shot from outside the box, winning his team a corner.
Augsburg kick-off and we're underway at the SGL Arena! The hosts wearing their all green uniforms, moving left to right, while Bayern sport their all red kits.
Augsburg are hurting with many inuries of their own. Leading scorer Andre Hahn (10) and Tobias Werner (9) are out injured, as is Kevin Vogt, Ji Dong-Won and Ragnar Klavan.
AUGSBURG SUBS: Manninger, Philp, Reinhardt, Milik, de Jong, Bobadilla, Thommy.
AUGSBURG XI (4-2-3-1): Hitz; Verhaegh, Callsen-Bracker, Hong, Ostrzolek; Kohr, Baier; Esswein, Altintop, Holzhauser; Molders.
Pep Guardiola is opting to rest a large portion of his regulars with their Champions League second leg versus Manchester United looming on Wednesday. Bastian Schweinsteiger and Javi Martinez are suspended for the match, meaning they are in the team today, while three youth players (Weiser, Sallahi, Hojbjerg) make their first Bundesliga starts.
BAYERN SUBS: Zingerle, Dante, Rafinha, Boateng, Gotze, Muller, Alaba.
BAYERN XI (4-2-3-1): Neuer; Weiser, Martinez, van Buyten, Sallahi; Schweinsteiger, Kroos; Shaqiri, Pizarro, Hojbjerg; Mandzukic.
The teams have been announced, so let's have ourselves a look at today's starting line-ups:
Augsburg sit six points back of the final Europa League spot, as a result of their recent skid. They will need a strong finish if they are to make a final push towards playing in Europe next season. Excluding today, their final five matches come against teams lower than them in the standings, so a top six finish isn't entirely out of the question yet for Markus Weinzierl's men.
Motivation could be a factor today for Pep Guardiola's men, who have the title wrapped up and the second leg of the Champions League quarter-final tie with Manchester United looming on Wednesday. The champions are, however, six matches away from maintaining their undefeated season, something that has never been done since the creation of the Bundesliga - which could serve to keep their focus through the remainder of the campaign.
Good afternoon Bundesliga fans around the world, and welcome to today's clash between champions Bayern Munich and Europa League hopefuls Augsburg at the SGL Arena. I'm Alex Moretto and I'll be your in-game host, guiding you through the match LIVE as it happens!
