Well, that's all from our LIVE coverage of action at the Emirates Stadium. It's been a pretty dramatic FA Cup weekend so far, and there's almost certainly more to come tomorrow. For now, though, it's goodbye!
Spurs had periods of control in that match but just didn't have enough up front to cause the Arsenal defence any major problems. At 1-0 they still felt in it, but Danny Rose's catastrophic error for the second all but killed off their chances.
FULL TIME at the Emirates Stadium and Arsenal win 2-0!! They've knocked Tottenham out of the FA Cup thanks to goals from Santi Cazorla and Tomas Rosicky.
90' + 4'
Bentaleb is penalised for a foul on Monreal before he stamps on the ground right in the full-back's face. Flamini isn't impressed and tells the youngster as much, but the referee tells them all to calm down.
90' + 3'
All the noise is coming from the Arsenal fans now. They look set for a spot in the fourth round.
90' + 2'
Tottenham are pressing but Arsenal are defending solidly. Walker plays the ball to Eriksen on the right-hand edge of the box, but Cazorla sprints back to poach possession and clear.
90' + 1'
Into the first of five minutes' added time and Spurs have a goal kick. Surely it's too late for a comeback now?
GREAT SAVE BY LLORIS!! Gnabry shows good skill once again, skipping past Dawson before playing it into the path of Ozil, who fires across goal and Lloris turns it around the post with a fine save.
Rose crosses towards Adebayor and the striker tries to bring it under control, but Koscielny sticks tight to him once more and steals the ball before clearing.
A long punt from Fabianski goes straight through to the Spurs defence and the visitors have another chance to come forward with time rapidly running out.
It's not whipped in, and instead the midfielder lays it back to Chadli, who drills a shot from the edge of the box but there is a red wall in the way and the ball bounces clear.
Here's a chance for Spurs. Rose, clearly trying to make amends for his mistake earlier, charges forward once again and draws a foul from Ozil. Eriksen has a good angle to whip this one in...
Rose advances down the left and tries to fire in a low cross, but Flamini covers it well at the near post and clears behind for a corner.
Play is back underway and Rose forces a throw off Sagna in his own half. Six minutes plus what could be a lengthy amount of stoppage time left.
Maybe it's not as bad as first thought, as Walcott gestures the scoreline "2-0" to the Spurs fans with a rye grin as he's taken off the pitch.
This doesn't look good for Walcott. He's being lifted on to a stretcher and won't feature for the rest of the match. The Gunners will also be down to 10 men as they've made all three changes.
Walcott is down moments later after going in for a challenge with Rose, and it looks like it could be more serious this time as he clutches his left knee.
Walcott is given offside after spending a long time on the ground before the Gunners come forward and he leaps up to receive it, but the flag goes up.
Chance up the other end as Spurs win a corner and it's fired low towards the near post. Chadli and Dawson both go for it and one of them - hard to tell which - flicks the ball wide of goal.
WALCOTT SHOOTS WIDE!! Chiriches follows in Rose's footsteps and has a disaster at the back, coming under pressure from two Arsenal players before flicking it into the path of Gnabry. The midfielder squares to Walcott, who cuts on to his right and bends the ball just wide of the post.
AUDACIOUS FROM CAZORLA!! Eriksen produces a loose touch on the halfway line and the Spanish midfielder is on to it like a flash, trying a first-time shot with Lloris off his line, but it's off target.
Mikel Amatrian Arteta
Spurs still have the ball, but the early zip of the match has just fizzled out a bit. 15 minutes left for a miraculous comeback.
Time for another change for the hosts, and Mesut Ozil will get his first taste of FA Cup football as he is set to come on for Arteta.
Tottenham are well on top of things at the moment, with the play almost exclusively in the Arsenal half. The hosts seem pretty happy to hit their opponents on the break though.
Brilliant turn by Lennon to take Monreal out completely and he charges towards the box. Arsenal recover well and Spurs are forced back but keep the ball. Walker plays the ball back to Eriksen, who has plenty of time to whip in a cross but can only give it straight to Fabianski.
Now it's Spurs' turn to appeal for a penalty as Kyle Walker chases a ball into the area before Monreal steps across and the Spurs defender goes down. Again, though, the referee gestures to the player to get up and carry on.
Eriksen and Lennon link up well on the right-hand side, but eventually the attack fizzles out and Arsenal come forward. The ball is lifted high over the top and Walcott is inches away from getting on the end of it, but it goes through to Lloris.
MORE ACTION AT BOTH ENDS!! Appeals for a penalty as Monreal drives into the box from the left and Walker comes across to muscle him off the ball. The referee isn't interested, though, and it's a goal kick. Spurs immediately come up the other end and Dembele fires a low shot from 25 yards which Fabianski saves well.
Spurs are enjoying some possession of their own now, but Arsenal are standing firm. Chadli and Dembele try to charge into the area but Mertesacker stands in their way.
Chadli tries to get involved early into his introduction, receiving the ball off Lennon in the box and flicking the ball back towards the penalty spot, but there's no-one there to get on the end of it.
Gnabry is almost through this time, latching on to a long pass, but Lloris sprints out of his area to hack the ball away. Good defending by the Frenchman.
Sherwood will be furious with that goal. He's made an instant change, bringing on Nacer Chadli for Soldado, but it's a long way back now.
Goal Tomas Rosicky
ROSICKY DOUBLES THE LEAD!! Oh, Danny Rose, that's awful!! The defender is furthest back and Rosicky puts him under pressure on the ball, forcing a mistake on the turn and the midfielder steals it. He's through one-on-one and eventually lifts the ball over Lloris and into the back of the net.
Spurs go straight up the other end and win a corner but Mertesacker powers a header clear. Poor delivery from Eriksen, really.
WALCOTT PUTS IT WIDE!! It's a lovely move from Arsenal and Gnabry slides a wonderful pass through the defence. Walcott rounds both Dawson and Lloris but is forced wide and tries to score from the tightest of angles, only finding the side netting.
Walcott is nearly away beyond the defence again as Sagna chips a superb ball over the top, but again the flag goes up. One of these is going to come off eventually.
Nice footwork from Wilshere on the edge of the box as he skips past two defenders before playing it into the path of Monreal, but Walker and Dawson manage to shore things up quickly and clear their lines.
Cazorla is looking dangerous every time he gets the ball this evening, and he slides another teasing pass beyond the defence for Walcott, but Dawson recovers well and Spurs eventually get the ball clear.
WHAT A CHANCE FOR ADEBAYOR!! The striker has missed a golden opportunity there. He receives the ball in the area with his back to goal, and tries to swivel and volley at once from 12 yards, completely fluffing his effort and it goes straight to Fabianski.
Walcott is down in pain after getting a foot on the back of his ankle from Chiriches. It all looked innocent but that was bound to hurt. The forward is back on his feet, though, and play can carry on.
Wide from Soldado!! It's a good, sweeping move forward from Spurs as Eriksen drives into the Arsenal half. He squares to Lennon, who immediately flicks the ball out to Soldado. The striker takes a touch before dragging a tame effort well wide from 25 yards.
Good pressure from Walcott and Dawson is forced into an error, putting the ball straight out of play. Walcott has revelled in his role up front so far today.
Lovely, lovely football by Arsenal! Cazorla turns right by the corner flag and plays back to Rosicky, who chips a delightful cross to the far post and Sagna meets it, trying to head across goal but Chiriches is in the way to block. Fantastic play from the hosts though.
Gnabry is given acres of space in the middle and plays the ball through the defence for Walcott to chase, but the England man is offside.
Rose comes forward along the left flank and plays the ball into Adebayor, who tries to lay off first time for Eriksen but it's too short and Arsenal come forward. They suddenly have two on two but Cazorla's pass for Walcott is easily cut out.
Adebayor does well, coming short to receive the ball and holding off some real pressure on halfway before winning a free kick for the visitors.
Cazorla pops up on the left-hand side and has Monreal outside him, before the full-back drives towards the middle. Cazorla slots in a pass but Dawson comes across and clears into touch.
Good start from Spurs as Lennon plays it into Adebayor, who turns and darts into the box, but Monreal recovers well to force it behind for a corner. The first delivery goes behind off Monreal and Soldado meets Eriksen's second ball in, firing a volley high over the bar.
Spurs get us going once more and the second half is underway. Per Mertesacker is on for Vermaelen while Spurs remain unchanged.
Just a few minutes away from the restart at the Emirates Stadium, then. Can Spurs come back or will Arsenal be able to extend their lead?
A key part of Spurs' success under Sherwood has been Emmanuel Adebayor. Today, though, he's looked a lot quieter and is getting frustrated. It the visitors want to get back in this they'll need the Togolese striker to pick up his game and get more involved.
Particular praise must be given to Serge Gnabry so far. The 18-year-old was excellent in that first half, showing real maturity on the ball, and it was his pass that set up Cazorla's goal.
The good news for Tottenham fans is that their last victory at Arsenal - back in November 2010 - came after they went 2-0 down and recovered to win 3-2, so all is not lost just yet.
That's HALF TIME at the Emirates Stadium and Arsenal have the lead thanks to Santi Cazorla's fine strike on half an hour. Spurs have been well in this game in periods but have disappeared too. Can they recover after the break?
45' + 1'
There's the good and the bad of Adebayor within a few seconds, there, as he shows lovely skill to flick the ball away from Sagna before losing out and pushing the Arsenal defender over. All a bit silly, really.
SOLDADO DRILLS WIDE!! A disappointing end to a nice move from the visitors as Lennon breaks forward and has two men outside him. He finds Walker, who plays back to Soldado inside the right corner of the box, and the striker drags his first-time effort wide of the far post.
After the referee has a word with Soldado and Dawson, Cazorla swings in the set piece and Sagna is inches away from meeting it at the far post. Chiriches had done well to put the defender off.
The hosts are ending the half very strongly, and Wilshere is annoying half the Spurs team. He has a strong altercation with Rose on the flank before winning a free kick off Soldado, and the Gunners can load the box...
Spurs are starting to get frustrated and will be happy to hear the half-time whistle. They're struggling to get out of their own half when they get the ball. Soldado and Adebayor are playing very far apart.
OVER THE BAR!! Walcott goes for goal from the set piece, but blasts it into the wall and behind for a corner to the Gunners. Rose heads it away from the near post but Walcott is on the end of it and volleys over the bar from 12 yards.
Arsenal win a free kick inside the Arsenal half, around 30 yards out. Walcott is lining this one up...
Rosicky charges forward and has the defence backtracking, but his pass for Walcott is poor and the Gunners lose the ball when he could have continued his run.
Ominous sings for Spurs as the hosts knock the ball around quickly with some lovely one-touch football. Eventually Arteta slides a ball through for Wilshere, who charges to the line before chipping a ball towards the six-yard box, but Lloris catches comfortably.
Wilshere and Dembele have been having a bit of a tiff in the middle in the past few minutes. There's a bit of shoving in midfield but the referee just tells them to get on with the game.
Spurs come forward again and it's played out wide to Walker, who tries to play it across the box first time but Arsenal clear. The full-back may have done better if he'd taken a touch and gone for it himself.
Eriksen nearly sets Adebayor away with an improvised flick, but Koscielny reads it well and manages to cut the ball out.
A goal looked extremely likely; it was just hard to tell who it would be for. Arsenal were starting to impose themselves on the game and they now have the lead. Can Spurs get back on level terms before the break?
Goal Santi Cazorla
CAZORLA PUTS ARSENAL AHEAD!! It's a fantastic goal to open the scoring and the hosts are in front!! Sagna plays forward to Gnabry, and he drives infield before playing the ball into the path of Cazorla, who doesn't even break his stride to slam the ball across goal and into the far corner. A very sweet strike.
Adebayor makes the Arsenal fans even more unhappy with him as he slides in on Rosicky and takes away the midfielder's legs. No booking for the Spurs striker, despite much clamouring from the stands.
There's still plenty of noise inside the Emirates Stadium, and the Arsenal fans turn up the volume as the visitors keep the ball. Adebayor tries to turn into the box but Koscielny stands firm to put the striker on the floor and then clear the ball.
Bentaleb is pressing very hard in midfield. He puts Arteta then Wilshere under pressure, and the Gunners are forced backwards before eventually surrendering possession.
Arsenal upgrade their throw by winning a corner, but Dawson clears Cazorla's initial ball in before Lloris easily claims the Spaniard's second attempt.
WALCOTT SHOULD DO BETTER!! The forward shows lovely skill to play the ball into Gnabry from the touchline, before two quick passes see him in behind the defence, but the England international hits it straight at Lloris and the goalkeeper's legs divert it out for a throw.
Gnabry latches on to a brilliant diagonal ball forward by Rosicky, but the flag is up for offside. There's very little time to breathe in this match, so here's a chance for the players to do just that.
Very nonchalant piece of play from Lloris as a pass back to him is a little short and Walcott charges down, but the goalkeeper just flicks the ball past and into the path of Dawson. Risky, but it paid off.
Sherwood is furious with that challenge by Vermaelen but replays show it was a superb tackle by the Gunners defender.
ACTION AT BOTH ENDS!! Wow, Vermaelen taking a HUGE risk!! Soldado turns past the defender brilliantly and the Belgian slides in but takes the ball, knowing a badly-timed challenge would see him off the pitch. Moments later Cazorla bends a shot just wide of the post from 18 yards. Fantastic game so far!
Good work from Soldado, who receives a long ball from Dawson and holds off two defenders before playing a pass back and keeping possession for his side.
Yellow Card Thomas Vermaelen
OVER FROM ERIKSEN!! Vermaelen earns the first booking of the match as he stops Dembele in his tracks just outside the right-hand side of the box. Eriksen steps up and tries a shot but it always looks too high and the hosts have a goal kick.
Lennon does well to intercept a pass by Koscielny and he then charges down the left flank, but Arteta covers superbly to come across and force a goal kick off the midfielder.
Chance for Arsenal as Rosicky cuts inside and moves towards the box before Bentaleb bundles him over. Cazorla swings it in with his left foot but it's a poor delivery and Spurs hack the ball away.
CLOSE FROM WALCOTT AND GNABRY!! The England man drills a shot at goal from 18 yards and it deflects inches wide of the post, before Gnabry eventually receives it from the corner and whistles a dangerous should just over the bar.
There have been plenty of momentum swings so far already, and now Arsenal are in control of possession. There's been one good chance each but who will break the deadlock?
WALCOTT GOES CLOSE!! That's a fantastic sweeping move forward from the Gunners, and Walcott receives the ball inside the Spurs half before charging towards the defence, and unleashes a dangerous low effort at goal from 25 yards which Lloris does well to turn behind.
Eriksen tries to get on the end of a long ball and turn past Sagna but the defender reads it well and puts it out of play for a throw to Spurs.
Arsenal survive the danger from the corner as Eriksen eventually crosses and Fabianski plucks it out of the air. A chance for both sides to calm things down slightly now.
JUST WIDE FROM ERIKSEN!! Adebayor drops deep to receive the ball, and promptly receives a chorus of boos. The ball is slide through the defence and Eriksen springs the offside trap before charging into the area and drilling it into the side netting off Fabianski. Very close.
This is a nice spell of possession from the Gunners. They stroke it around well inside the Spurs half before Gnabry tries to spread wide to Sagna, but Rose cuts it out and then wins a free kick.
Dembele drives through the middle and is taken out by Rosicky, giving Spurs a free kick. They can't make good use of it, though, and are forced all the way back to Lloris.
It's very noisy inside the Emirates Stadium, and it's been a good start to the game on the pitch so far too. Lennon tries to burst past Monreal but knocks the ball on too far and the hosts have a goal kick.
Chiriches tracks back to deal with a long Arsenal ball forward, but Walcott puts the defender under pressurse and he's forced to put it out. Gnabry does well to get to the by-line and into the box before pulling back to Walcott, but he can't get a good contact on the ball and Spurs can come forward themselves.
Wilshere slides the ball into Walcott but Dawson is straight in to steal the ball from the Gunners forward. Expect to see the Spurs defenders sticking tight to him today.
Slightly dodgy start from Fabianski as he puts his first clearance straight into touch. Walker dashes down the right and fires in a low cross which is turned behind for a corner. Dembele's shot from the edge of the box is blocked before Soldado gets to the rebound, but he mishits and the Gunners goalkeeper collects.
The game is underway as Arsenal get the ball rolling at the Emirates Stadium.
The teams are out and we're just a few minutes away from kick-off. 5,000 Spurs fans are making plenty of noise, and it promises to be a fantastic atmosphere in north London.
Spurs have also only won one of their last 24 league and cup trips to Arsenal, drawing eight and losing 15. That solitary victory came in the form of a 3-2 win in November 2010. Can Sherwood's side maintain their form and beat the odds this afternoon?
This fixture finished 1-0 to the Gunners in the Premier League earlier this season, while Wenger's side have scored 11 goals against their north London rivals in their last three meetings at the Emirates Stadium.
In head-to-head terms this one's pretty close; it's the sixth meeting between these two in the FA Cup and so far Arsenal have three wins to Spurs' two. But the odds aren't really in the visitors' favour; they've won only two of their last nine away FA Cup ties.
19-year-old midfielder Nabil Bentaleb makes his full debut for the visitors this afternoon as Sherwood makes one change from the 2-1 win at Old Trafford, with Etienne Capoue dropping to the bench. Emmanuel Adebayor was stretchered off in that game but has recovered in time to start up front alongside Roberto Soldado.
Theo Walcott is tasked with leading the Gunners from the front this afternoon then, with both Olivier Giroud and Nicklas Bendtner out injured. Serge Gnabry also earns a start as Wenger makes three changes from the victory over Cardiff, with Lukasz Fabianski and Thomas Vermaelen also coming in.
TOTTENHAM: Lloris; Walker, Chiriches, Dawson, Rose; Lennon, Bentaleb, Dembele, Eriksen; Adebayor, Soldado. // Subs: Friedel, Fredericks, Fryers, Capoue, Chadli, Kane, Obika.
ARSENAL: Fabianski; Sagna, Koscielny, Vermaelen, Monreal; Arteta, Wilshere; Rosicky, Cazorla, Gnabry; Walcott. // Subs: Viviano, Jenkinson, Mertesacker, Flamini, Ozil, Podolski, Park.
The line-ups have been announced so let's show you today's sides, starting with Arsene Wenger's men...
A while ago this would have looked like a home banker, with Arsenal on terrific form and sitting pretty on top of the Premier League. But Tottenham, under the new management of Tim Sherwood, are on a roll and face their rivals off the back of a superb win at Manchester United.
Hello and welcome to LIVE coverage of the FA Cup and what looks on paper to be the tie of the third round as Arsenal host Tottenham at the Emirates Stadium.
