GOAL! Liverpool brilliant in keeping possession again and as Lucas charges forward he plays in Meireles on the right hand side of the area to square for Suarez to pass home and seal victory for the Reds.
Yellow Card Henri Lansbury
Arsenal frustrated now. Liverpool continuing to starve them of possession and as the ball breaks loose Lansbury goes in late on Charlie Adam and receives a yellow card.
Liverpool still pushing but after Enrique plays in Downing on the left he has nobody to cut back to and powers it across the Arsenal box for a throw in.
Jenkinson pulls up with cramp but he appears able to continue. Can Liverpool hold out the 10 men of Arsenal to secure a first ever victory at the Emirates?
Liverpool now looking to play keep ball in order to kill the game and Arsenal are struggling to win possession back from the Merseyside outfit.
Arsene Wenger is now looking to restore parity by throwing on Nicklas Bendtner for Theo Walcott. On the balance of things Liverpool probably deserving of their goal but can Arsenal cancel it out with 10 minutes remaining?
Own Goal Aaron Ramsey
GOAL! A slice of luck for Liverpool as Meireles and Suarez play a one two at the edge of the area but as Miquel looks like he is in to clear he strikes the ball off Aaron Ramsey's chest and it loops over Szczesny and into the Arsenal net.
Vermaelen, who has been imperious in defence today, now takes the ball to edge of the Liverpool area and smashes it wide of Reina's left hand post.
A Downing shot is saved again by Szczesny but the resulting Meireles corner floats straight into the Polish keeper's arms.
Chance for Suarez as immediately as he is played in inside the Arsenal box by Downing but his shot is smothered well by Szczesny.
Arsenal also make a change as youngster Henri Lansbury comes on in place of Arshavin.
A double change for Liverpool as Luis Suarez and Raul Meireles take the field in place of Dirk Kuyt and Andy Carroll.
Yellow/Red Emmanuel Frimpong
Red Card! The ball breaks in midfield to Jordan Henderson who attempts to clear and Frimpong goes in with studs up on the young midfielder and is dismissed for a second yellow card.
Great chance for the hosts! Arshavin wrestles with Kelly in the box and manages to push the defender off the ball. His pull back is met by Van Persie but Reina is equal to it. Liverpool furious a foul wasn't given for the push on Kelly.
Enrique defends well and as Liverpool find Kelly in the Arsenal half his low cross to Carroll is scrambled away. Liverpool lacking cutting edge again.
Both sides seemingly willing to gift possession to each other regularly as the game continues to be scrappy in midfield.
Sagna makes a mess of a clearance and can only gift the ball to Dirk Kuyt who plays it back to Downing. His cross is met by Carroll but his shot is blocked well for a corner. Corner well defended, Arsenal ball.
Another half chance for Liverpool as the ball breaks to Andy Carroll who has support in the box but he can do no better than pinball it off Arsenal defenders to safety.
Vermaelen yet again beats Andy Carroll in the air to ease pressure from a long ball. The Belgian defender has been a huge presence today in the Gunners' defence.
More neat work by Arsenal from Ramsey at the edge of the box but it breaks down again from good Liverpool defending. Arsenal struggling to find their usual passing rhythm.
Liverpool break and after Charlie Adam's ball is too heavy for Carroll he lays it back to young full back Martin Kelly who can only shoot into the side netting.
Patient possession work by Arsenal finds them at the edge of the Liverpool box but a ball in by Jenkinson falls straight to Liverpool.
Liverpool looking willing to break at every opportunity but are finding it hard to pass through Arsenal. A Charlie Adam handball halts another attack before it has started.
Nasri does well under pressure from Lucas but his long pass goes out for a goalkick. Somewhat tepid start to the second half.
Early possession in the Arsenal half but they are marshalled well by the defence, a punt forward lands straight in Szczesny's arms.
Liverpool get us underway and Charlie Adam tries a cheeky effort from the half way line.

HALF TIME! Still 0-0 at the end of the half, though the visitors may feel they've just had the larger share of the chances. Will the second half see the introduction of Luis Suarez?

Samir Nasri with another chance, but his shot from 20 yards goes miles over.
Yellow Card Lucas Leiva
Frimpong (how busy has he been thus far) bursts from midfield and Lucas Leiva has to bring him down illegally to stop him. Yellow card for the Brazilian.
Arsenal having a late flurry now. They have good possession on the edge of Liverpool's box before Arshavin can't control a cute Ramsey pass to play him through. Goalkick.
Good Arsenal pressure at the other end forces Jose Enrique to put it out for a corner but it again comes to nothing.
Liverpool putting the pressure on late, keeping the ball well but Arsenal hold out with Vermaelen winning another Stewart Downing cross in the air.
The youngster though shows his composure by working out of a tight space and playing to Sagna before Arsenal gain a free kick.
Frimpong on thin ice as he brings down Daniel Agger before the referee leniently allows play to continue.
He doesn't look like he wants to leave! Samir Nasri breaks from his own half and takes it to the edge of the 18 yard box before striking just wide. A great run.
Loose passing by Arsenal is punctuated by some good pressure on the ball by Liverpool. Neither side looks yet ready to break the deadlock though.
An Arsenal corner comes to nothing but when Frimpong receives the ball 25 yards out, his fine effort has to be palmed away by Jose Reina.
Yellow Card Andy Carroll
Andy Carroll is played in an offside position and shoots receiving a yellow card for time wasting.
Jenkinson does well to intercept but the subsequent attack comes to nothing after a poor cross is headed away.
Arsenal struggling to create against a resolute Liverpool backline as another run from Nasri is snuffed out.
The free kick is wasted but Liverpool enjoy more possession and Henderson has a chance with a header from 12 yards. Straight at the keeper.
A brilliant run by Jose Enrique is brought to an end by a foul by Carl Jenkinson near the left corner flag. Free kick Liverpool.
Great chance for the visitors. A ball in from the right by Liverpool and Andy Carroll easily beats Sagna to the header to get it on target. Well saved by Szczesny.
Downing is found on the left by Jordan Henderson and has his right foot effort blocked well.
The game remains a scrappy affair but Liverpool may feel they can settle now with another Arsenal injury giving them even more hope.
Koscielny can't continue. He is replaced by youngster Ignasi Miquel making his Premier League debut.
Bad news for Arsenal, Koscielny pulls up and knocks the ball out of play. With an already threadbare squad this could be a real blow.
Liverpool keep the ball well until Andy Carroll is penalised for an unfair aerial challenge.
The inswinging free kick is brilliantly defended by Arsenal and they break away with Walcott whose cross is gathered by Reina.

Frimpong, who has show great energy so far, gets a yellow card for being just a touch too enthusiastic in trying to grab a throw in from Jordan Henderson.
Arsenal gain another corner and Vermaelen heads just wide.
Early chance for the visitors! A Stewart Downing ball in from the right hand side just eludes Dirk Kuyt and goes into the thankful arms of Arsenal's keeper.
Bright start from both sides. Arsenal break after collecting the free kick and after a cross from Theo Walcott, gain a corner. The corner is well defended by the vistors.
An early run from deep by Daniel Agger and he is brought down in the Arsenal half by youngster Emmanuel Frimpong.

The teams are just about to enter the pitch now and there is a feeling that this is a huge game early on in this new Premier League season. Liverpool will be hoping to re-establish themselves amongst the Premier League elite whilst Arsenal will want to prove that, despite the loss of key players, they're still a force to be reckoned with.
Two shocks there in the teams as wantaway midfielder Samir Nasri starts for Arsenal and Luis Suarez drops to the bench for the visitors. Will Nasri give Arsenal fans the perfect parting gift and can Liverpool create without their inspirational Uruguayan forward?
