Bayern Munich will be without the serivces of star man Franck Ribery, who is suspended after being sent off in the last round against Augsburg, with Arjen Robben expected to step in for the Frenchman.
However, Javi Martinez has shaken off a minor groin strain which forced him off early against Werder Bremen at the weekend, while Daniel Van Buyten has shaken off the flu.
Borussia Dortmund, meanwhile, will be boosted by the return of Robert Lewandowski, who has missed their recent league games due to suspension.
Meanwhile, Mats Hummels is expected to miss out with flu and will be replaced by Felipe Santana, but Jakub Blaszczykowski has recovered from a minor injury.

With Mario Gomez scoring twice at the weekend, and given the wave of speculation linking Bayern with Lewandowski, the onus will be on Mandzukic to show that he is still the main man at the Allianz Arena, and there will be no better way to do so than by leading his side to victory over the champions.
All eyes will inevitably be on Lewandowski, given how his absence was felt by Dortmund on Sunday at Gladbach and the speculation linking him with a move to Bayern, but he will eager to prove where his loyalties lie during this clash, one of the biggest of his side's season.
There may be a hefty gap separating them in standings, but Bayern and Dortmund are incredibly equal teams. The visitors have a knack of raising their game on the biggest stage, and I'd expect this one to go all the way.
