Spent a lot of the match rooted to his line, struggling to impose any authority on England's dangerous balls into the box.
Stuck tight to Welbeck and often doubled up on Young, but looked sloppy on the ball and constantly gave away free-kicks, which inevitably led to a booking
Made some important interceptions, but was fortunate to get away with a poor clearance early on and struggled with his distribution.
Struggled with the threat of Young down England's left and provided little support for Larsson going forward.
Faced a stern test with the keen-to-impress Sterling and regularly struggled to deal with the youngster. Pushed forward on a couple of occasions but made little impact.
Made a couple of dangerous pushes forward in his first full start for Sweden, and occasionally threatened what looked a shaky English defence.
Made his mark on the game early with a crunching challenge on Sterling, then drilled a long-range effort wide with the first decent effort of the match and his only real contribution. Rarely involved for long periods before being replaced on the hour.
Almost invisible in the first half, only contributing a foul on Sterling, but saw more of the ball later on, spreading it well from deep as the hosts worked hard to get back into the game.
Whipped a couple of dangerous crosses in from the right, nearly setting up Ranegie. Defensively poor, and Young skipped past him as he crossed for England's equaliser, but Sweden's best hope for a wide threat.
A passenger for the opening period, but made up for it with a fine cross for the goal and looked lively from then on. Nearly made it two after a sloppy piece of defending but blasted over.
Top of the Match
Absolutely stunning performance from the PSG striker, grabbing the first goal in the new national stadium with a superb striker's finish. Drifted out of the game early in the second half as the hosts struggled to get back into the match, but took his second goal with real authority and capped his hat-trick with a long-range free-kick before scoring an absolutely breathtaking acrobatic fourth.
Pontus Sven Gustav Jansson
Came on for Larsson with only a few minutes left in the match.
Almost made an immediate impact after coming on at the break, providing a cross for Ranegie who headed over, and a constant threat down the left.
Came on for the disappointing Granqvist with 15 minutes to go but rarely featured, but for a vital challenge on Welbeck in the dying moments.
The Sweden veteran replaced Kallstrom with half an hour remaining and provided a superb ball for Ibrahimovic's second goal.
Replaced Lustig with 15 minutes left but hardly saw the ball.
Keen to bounce back from his mistake for Manchester City last weekend, he didn't start well with two first-half mix-ups with Cahill. Nothing he could do about the first goal but nowhere near as confident as in past performances and will be disappointed to let in Ibrahimovic's third before his poor attempted header for Ibrahimovic's stunning fourth.
An mix-up with Joe Hart didn't settle the nerves early on, and nearly caused problems again after leaving a ball for Hart which led to a chance for Ranegie.
Had plenty of opportunities to push forward and support Sterling on the right. Will be disappointed with a decent shooting opportunity which he scuffed and was nearly guided in by Cleverley.
Unable to venture forward as much as he hoped, and was caught failing to track back in the lead up to Sweden's goal. Nearly set up a third with a dangerous early second-half cross.
Settled in quickly and read the play well. Showed good anticipation to block Ibrahimovic's first effort, but unfortunate that it landed straight back at the striker's feet for the first goal. Made up for it with a debut goal from Gerrard's free-kick
Often threatened down the left and provided a superb cross for Welbeck's equaliser. The Manchester United striker was looking like getting back to his best. Swapped wings with Sterling in the second half and formed part of a strong front three.
England's third-oldest debutant took a while to settle in, but provided more of an attacking threat in the second half, testing Isaksson early on and popping up in advanced positions regularly. The Everton man should have earned himself at least another call-up.
A very assured display from the 17-year-old. Quickly identified by Hamren's men as a threat and frequently had two men on him. The young Liverpool winger often drifted into the middle to find space, including when releasing Young down the left in the build-up to the first England goal.
The England skipper marked his 100th cap with an excellent performance. His delivery was constantly dangerous and almost led to a first-half opener for Cahill, before landing it perfectly on Caulker's feet for England's second.
Had a superb chance in the first half when he should have done better to divert Johnson's shot towards goal but couldn't control it. Otherwise, very quiet as much of the game was played out wide.
The 21-year-old clearly felt he had a point to prove, and cropped up in all areas of the pitch. Had several defenders to contend with but linked play well and constantly won free-kicks for the visitors, grabbing a well-deserved goal with a fine finish.
Introduced late on for Caulker and was promptly caught out of position for Sweden's equaliser.
Late introduction for his first cap but was overshadowed by Ibrahimovic's late show.
A welcome return to the side for the Arsenal midfielder came on the hour. but he contributed little and was booked late on for a foul on Ibrahimovic.
Replaced the superb Gerrard with 15 minutes left and threw one dangerous cross into the area, but had little else to do late on.
Introduced on the hour to lead the line, switching positions with Welbeck regularly. Hardly involved as England gradually sat back.
Came on for a brief cameo looked lively on the two occasions he got the ball, but generally wasn't involved.
