Was let down by his defence on numerous occasions tonight. Could do little about Yilmaz's opening header and was powerless to prevent the Turkish striker from completing his hat-trick.
Did not close down Altintop for the opening goal and allowed the same player to get the better of him far too easily for the second goal.
Rather foolishly inured himself, diving in too hard on Altintop and landing awkwardly. Had started brightly beforehand.
Given a torrid time by Yilmaz all night and could not get near the Galatasaray frontman. Beaten to the header for the opener and turned inside out for the final goal.
Did not cover himself in glory for Galatasaray's second goal and was muscled off the ball far too easily. Was nowhere to be seen when the visitors broke for their third goal when Cluj were chasing the game.
Struggled on the flank and found himself under pressure throughout.
Provided a bit of composure in an otherwise desperate Cluj side but was wasteful on occassions, most noteably when he blasted a free kick high and wide from a promising position.
Struggled to get the better of Eboue at right-back and found it difficult to get any change out of a well organised visiting defence.
Ineffective in the middle of the park as Cluj struggled to gain a foothold in the first-half. Substituted at half-time for Bjelanovic.
Should have scored in the first-half when the ball broke to him in the area, but produced a fine finish to draw his side level on 53 minutes. Was undoubtedly Cluj's biggest threat on the night.
Had the opportunity to put his side in front early on but couldn't take the chance having rounded Muslera. Had other chances but faded as the game went on and eventually made way for Valente.
Little he could do about Sougou's finish and enjoyed a quietly efficient night thereafter.
Started poorly after being caught out by a hopeful long ball that allowed Kapetanos through. Never really got going after that and failed to create anything meaningful going forward.
Caught out early on by a long ball but tightened up as the game progressed. Created an effective partnership with Nounkeu which Cluj found difficult to break down.
Solid performance by the centre back which saw Galatasaray tricky to break down through the middle. Made it difficult for the Romanian side aerially and imposed his dominance in the air.
Filled in well on the left side and caused problems going forward as well as holding firm at the back. Almost undid all his good work with a sloppy ball but Sougou failed to capitalise.
Played well down the flank and opened up Cluj on several occasions. Never quite found the final ball but caused problems for the hosts all evening.
Good display from the wide man and proved a danger on several occasions. Composure and injection of pace caught out Cluj on many occasions, including the break out of defence for the third and final goal.
Imposing central midfield display provided the base for Galatasaray's solid win. Kept the ball well in midfield and soaked up all Romanian pressure.
Provided the ammunition for Yilmaz's first two goals. His first delivery was a defender's nightmare and the skill he showed for his second assist was a reminder of his abilities at the top level.
Fairytale forward display from the Turkish striker who scored the perfect hat-trick. His opening goal was a fantastic header and the other two strikes were extremely well taken.
His performance was overshadowed by that of his strike partner, but Bulut aided Burak every step of the way with a sparkling performance.
Came on for the injured Sepsi and immediately changed the complexion of Cluj's play. His through ball for the equaliser was a genuine moment of genius.
Appeared at half-time and while originally he looked to have plugged Cluj's tired midfield, the midfielder became less influential as the game wore on.
Came on after game was effectively over and did not get a sniff.
