So, the Milan rot continues as Lazio claim a valuable three points in their Scudetto bid. If you haven't already seen it, make sure to check out the golazo by Antonio Candreva. That's all from me, Max Bentley, on what has been a pulsating affair at the Stadio Olimpico. Good night.
Milan have now failed to beat Lazio in six consecutive league meetings. Their last victory came in a 2-1 win back in November 2009.
Could that be the end of the road for Massimiliano Allegri? Their Scudetto challenge up in flames, can Milan redeem themselves in the Champions League away at Malaga in midweek?
FULL TIME: LAZIO 3 - 2 MILAN. Massimiliano Allegri's side crash to a fifth league defeat of the season despite a brave second half fightback. Lazio move to within one point of Napoli in third place as their impressive start continues.
90' + 4'
That could be the end as Bojan's cross is wastefully overhit. Frustration etched on the faces of the Milan players.
90' + 2'

In the final minute as Milan attack with El Shaarawy, but his cross is headed away by Ledesma. FOUR minutes of stoppage time to be played.

Senad Lulic does excellently to slip in Miroslav Klose in the box but his touch is heavy and Yepes mops up the danger.
Lazio refusing to commit too many players forward late on. They look to frustrate Milan by holding onto possession.
Last roll of the dice for Allegri's side as Bojan enters the fray to replace Luca Antonini. Can he net his first goal in Milan colours?
The Biancocelesti look to hold onto their lead by throwing on former Milan player Cristian Brocchi for Antonio Candreva. Will his wonder strike go in vain?
The points looked home and dry for Vladimir Petkovic's side but they now find themselves clinging on against a Milan side who have just been given a huge confidence boost. Under ten minutes remaining.
Assist Alexandre Pato
Goal Stephan El Shaarawy
THE COMEBACK IS ON! Just as I was saying how he hadn't been performing this second half, Stephan El Shaarawy cuts inside Abdoulay Konko and sends a low shot which bobbles off the turf and nestles into the far corner of Bizzarri's net. 3-2!
Hernanes once again tests Amelia with a low shot from the edge of the box. Will Lazio rue their profligacy?
El Shaarawy has been disappointing in this second half and he loses possession on the edge of the box as a promising Milan move breaks down.
Urby Emmanuelson has been Milan's best performer in this second period and once again he picks out a cross to find El Shaarawy in the box whose header is off target.
Milan continue to look for the aerial prowess of Giampaolo Pazzini and his glancing header drifts just wide of the post from Luca Antonini's cross.
A defensive lapse from Riccardo Montolivo nearly allows Senad Lulic to steal into the Milan box, but Amelia is alert and smothers the ball.
Second substitution for Lazio as former-Sunderland midfielder Lorik Cana replaces Alvaro Gonzalez.
SO NEARLY 4-1! Hernanes' swerving shot from the edge of the box is spilt by Amelia and Alvaro Gonzalez's rebound is deflected around the post for a corner.

Lazio seem rattled by that Milan goal as Allegri's side look threatening for the first time in this game. Emmanuelson has been excellent since coming on for the Rossoneri.
Assist Urby Emanuelson
Goal Nigel De Jong
LIFELINE FOR MILAN? Nigel De Jong gets his first goal for Milan as he diverts Urby Emmanuelson's superb low freekick past Bizzarri. Can that fire Allegri's side into life?
First change for Vladimir Petkovic's side as the Belgian 21-year-old Luis Cavanda replaces Stefano Mauri.

WHAT A CHANCE! From the resulting corner the unmarked Pato misses a glaring opportunity as he heads wide of the post from a few yards out. Should have been a goal.
Emanuelson and Pazzini combine again with the striker forcing Bizzarri into an awkward save from a header.
By the way, that Klose strike now ties him with Edison Cavani at the top of the Serie A goalscorers list on six goals.
Better from Milan! Urby Emmanuelson sends in a cross to the front post which is powered just wide by Giampaolo Pazzini.
Desperate times call for desperate measures. Allegri throws on Alexandre Pato for Antonio Nocerino. Can he provide the inspiration for this Milan team seemingly devoid of ideas?

Milan get the second half underway.
It seems that Urby Emmanuelson will replace Kevin Prince Boateng for the second half. Could Alexandre Pato feature for the first time since that Champions League loss against Barcelona back in April?
A few of you saying that you would like to see Allegri sacked even if Milan can stage a remarkable comeback. Who would you want to take the Rossoneri reigns?
Ahmed Sheck on Twitter: "Allegri switched back to 4-3-1-2 which failed to produce in the beginning of the season, we need miracles, is pato the savior?"
Here's the first-half analysis from my Goal.com correspondent Renger Dotinga: "Milan devoid of ideas, and deservedly two goals behind. Not even a shadow of the team that nearly retained the title last term."
Milan's worse start in over 80 years looks set to continue at this rate as they are heading for their fifth defeat in eight Serie A games. Will Allegri ring the changes at half-time?
HALF TIME AT STADIO OLIMPICO: LAZIO 2 - 0 MILAN. Lazio sprung to life after a dull 25 minutes through the brilliance of Hernanes before Antonio Candreva scored what will surely be one of the goals of the season. Lazio sitting back and holding onto their lead at the moment. Milan look comfortable in possession but they cannot find that killer pass.
Will that goal affect Milan's confidence? They had matched their opponents during the first 25 minutes but a piece of sublime skill and cruel misfortune has turned this game into Lazio's favour early on.
ALMOST AN INSTANT RESPONSE FROM MILAN! Stephan El Shaarawy seizes onto a pass in the Lazio penalty box and fires through the legs of Bizzarri but Dias is on hand to clear off the line. He punches the air in delight, fantastic goalline save from the Brazilian defender.

Milan are looking nervous from set-pieces. Lazio continue to pump balls into the box, aiming for the head of Miroslav Klose but Milan just about manage to clear their lines.
Lazio beginning to grow into this game now. They need to be careful though because Milan look dangerous on the break with El Shaarawy a particular nuisance early on.
Wasteful from Lazio! Abdoulay Konko unleashes an optimistic attempt from 25 yards which goes sailing over the crossbar. He had plenty of men in the box to aim for.

Stefano Mauri and Daniele Bonera exchange captain's welcomes and it will be Lazio who get this Serie A clash underway. A smile on the face of Allegri prior to kickoff. Will he still be smiling come full time?
This game will surely tell us whether Lazio are capable of sustaining a Scudetto challenge. Let me know your thoughts and predictions on Twitter @MaxBentley1.
In the last league meeting here between the two sides in February, Lazio triumphed 2-0 with goals from Hernanes and Tomasso Rocchi.
A bit of pre-match entertainment at the Stadio Olimpico as an eagle flies around the ground with blue and white ribbons between its talons. Great atmosphere and plenty of flag-waving too!
