  The centre-back had another extremely quiet night as the potency of his side's attack meant that he had very little to do. He and Dante frustrated Dost with ease and he will be pleased with a clean sheet.

  Lahm's runs down the line offered Robben more space in which to operate, bringing the best out of him. He was at times caught out of position by Olic but got forward to provide an assist for Mandzukic in the second half.

  The left-back was more reserved in joining the attack but Ribery was doing plenty to keep Fagner occupied. He faced little coming the other way but minimised the threat of Kahlenberg.

  Fagner will be having nightmares about the Frenchman for weeks after his indomitable display. Glided forward effortlessly and created numerous chances for his side, including the one converted by Schweinsteiger.

  Complemented Schweinsteiger excellently by sitting deep and offering a simple ball back, allowing the German to roam forward and aid the attack. His rarely gave the ball away and screened the defence well.

  Had a quiet start as Rodriguez kept close tabs on him but grew into the game and improved greatly. Always looked to break beyond the line and offered an additional threat when drifting inside onto his left foot.

  Dropped deep to get on the ball and distributed across the park well. He failed to find the pockets of space that Kroos does but showed his quality in the wide areas with a brilliant assist for Mandzukic.

  Hit the post twice, once from inside the box and the other with a venemous 30-yard strike, in the first half. Scored at the third time of asking to break the deadlock and completely bossed the centre of the park.

  Lead the line brilliantly in the first half but when the chances finally came his way he failed to make them count as Benaglio clawed his best effort away. Finally found the net after the break with a towering header.

  The Swiss keeper had a brilliant game, despite being on the losing side. Showed extreme bravery and made some quality saves, particularly from Mandzukic and then a double-stop to deny Ribery and Robben moments after the restart.

  The centre-back seemed to be all over the place positionally, allowing Bayern far too much space in the channels. He managed to recover to make some good interceptions but he was also too weak in the air.

  The towering defender failed to make the most of his significant height advantage and allowed himself to be bullied too easily. His marking was poor and he was left for dead by Shaqiri as he set up the second goal.

  Was overrun in the middle of the park as Bayern dominated possession. Attempted to maintain the organisation behind the ball but was ultimately left lagging behind as the hosts cut Wolfsburg apart.

  Had an absolutely torrid night as Ribery showed the frailties in the Brazilian full-back's defensive game. More accustomed to attacking, Fagner was utterly helpless at the back and the second goal also came down his side.

  As Lahm doubled up with Robben he could not cope and he allowed the Dutchman to get away in the build up to the first goal. Could not stop Mandzukic from heading in the second and also gave Lahm too much space to supply the third.

  Broke up a couple of Bayern attacks in the first half but for the most part he spent the game chasing the ball down as Wolfsburg failed to compete in midfield. Failed to close the space quick enough.

  Struggled to weave his magic in the hole behind Dost as his team rarely had a solid spell in possession. When they did though he attempted to scythe through the Bayern defence with some decent passes, though they did not lead to much.

  The Dane had very little influence on the game in the first half as he was forced to track back and cover against Lahm. He contributed very little and was withdrawn in the 67th minute for Vieirinha.

  Was one of very few players to worry the Bayern defence but with minimal support he struggled to do anything when in possession. A stabbed effort into the side-netting in the second half was his best effort.
