71′ (PG) Zlatan Ibrahimovic

Thanks very much for joining me, Tom Maston, for this Ligue 1 encounter, and have a good evening!

The full time whistle goes and it's three points for Ancelotti's charges. Ibrahimovic's controversial penalty was sandwiched between goals for Menez and Lavezzi as the hosts ran out deserved winners. Khazri's superb free kick threatened a Bastia revival but they couldn't create enough to trouble Sirigu throughout the 90 minutes.

90′
Big shouts for a penalty for Bastia as Modeste goes down under Maxwell's challenge, but the referee turns down the visitors' appeal.

90′
Into three minutes of stoppage time at Parc des Princes as the hosts look set to go six points clear of Lyon at the top of Ligue 1.

89′
Goal Ezequiel Lavezzi
GOAL FOR PSG!!! Surely all over now as Lavezzi slots home from close range. Landreau has had a decent game but he should have done better with Chantome's cross. The goalkeeper parried when he could have held onto the ball and Lavezzi had an open goal from six yards out. The former Napoli striker doesn't miss those opportunities.

88′
Another chance for Bastia, and it's Thauvin who is at the heart of it this time as he wriggles free from Maxwell before poking over a cross from the byline. Modeste can't get over his header, though, and it loops over the top.

85′
Bastia are almost level, and it's that man Khazri again as he wins the ball on the edge of the area before rounding Sirigu. His effort is weak and though it is on target, Armand can easily clear. Paris Saint-Germain holding on now.

83′
Goal Wahbi Khazri
GOAL FOR BASTIA!!! Brilliant from Khazri! The resulting free kick is at least 40 yards from goal, but that doesn't deter the Tunisia international, who spots Sirigu off his line and curls it into the top corner. Could be in for some finish now...

82′
Yellow Card Wahbi Khazri
Khazri makes an immediate impression on the game as he picks up Bastia's third yellow card. The midfielder was fouled by Verratti and was unhappy that the Italian didn't give him the ball back straight away.

80′
Substitution Sambou Yatabare Wahbi Khazri
Bastia are lucky to still have 11 players on the pitch as Yatabare, who has already been booked, puts in a very late challenge on Menez. The Mali international is immediately substituted, with Wahbi Khazri on in his place.

78′
Yellow Card Anthony Modeste
Tempers beginning to flare as Modeste leaves his foot in slightly on Sirigu as the goalkeeper clears. The incident seems to have passed but the pair then square up on the edge of the area. Modeste is booked for his part in it all.

75′
Substitution Lucas Ezequiel Lavezzi
Ancelotti makes his final substitution, bringing on Lavezzi for Lucas.

72′
Substitution Javier Pastore Blaise Matuidi
Blaise Matuidi is on for the home side, replacing Pastore.

72′
OH SO UNLUCKY! Brilliance from Menez as he twists and turns past three Bastia defenders before attempting a curling effort that Landreau does excellently to parry one-handed. Menez has been very impressive and sent a message to those who believe he wouldn;t be in PSG's first choice eleven.

71′
Penalty Goal Zlatan Ibrahimovic
GOAL FOR PSG! Emphatic from Ibrahimovic, and even though Landreau goes the right way, he has no chance with the spot kick which nestles in the bottom right corner.

70′
PENALTY TO PSG! Great play by Lucas as he picks up Ibrahimovic's pass and takes on full back Julien Palmieri. The Brazil international is certainly fouled, but the initial contact looks like it may have been outside the box. Controversial call by the referee.

68′
Ibrahimovic is in the action straight away as he lays the ball across the Bastia area, but Menez's attempted flick dribbles wide.

66′
Substitution Kevin Gameiro Zlatan Ibrahimovic
Despite leading, PSG are going to give Ibrahimovic a run out, with the big striker replacing Gameiro up front. Needless to say the supporters are even more of a bouyant mood now.

66′
Thauvin has been the best of the Bastia players in attack, but he is well off-target with his latest effort from the left corner of the area. Salvatore Sirigu still yet to be tested.

63′
Substitution Claudio Beauvue Anthony Modeste
The visitors make their second change, with top scorer Anthony Modeste replacing Claudio Beauvue.

60′
The home side aren't going to rest on their laurels, and Landreau makes another good save to deny Gameiro after Verratti finds the striker by the penalty spot. All the hosts at present.

57′
Substitution Julien Sablé Jacques Faty
Bastia react to going behind by replacing Julien Sable with Jacques Faty.

56′
Goal Jérémy Menez
GOAL FOR PSG!!! The home side finally have the breakthrough and Jeremy Menez is the scorer. The attacker picks up the ball around 25 yards from goal before cutting inside onto his left foot and firing a low shot that creeps under Landreau's body. No more than the Ligue 1 leaders deserve.

56′
Assist Javier Pastore

55′
BRILLIANT SAVE! Landreau hasn't had much to do in the opening 55 minutes, but the Bastia goalkeeper makes a wonderful stop at the near post after Gameiro's cheeky flick from close range.

54′
Yatabare has been used primarily in a defensive role this evening, but he shows what he can do on the ball with some fancy footwork to get away from Maxwell. Unfortunately for Bastia his attempted pass isn't quite of the same quality and the hosts have the ball back.

52′
Maxwell has been the most potent of the two PSG full backs, and he again gets forward down the left. His low cross is a good one and Sylvain Marchal does well to turn it narrowly of his own goal.

50′
Lucas breaks into the box as he continues that search for his maiden Ligue 1 goal, but the referees awards Bastia a free kick after the Brazilian handles Pastore's chipped through ball.

47′
Les Parisiens come forward for the first time after the break but after good interplay between Gameiro and Maxwell the latter's cross is too heavy and eventually cleared.

46′
The home side get us underway in the second half.

No sign of either Ibrahimovic or Lavezzi at half time, and in truth this PSG side should have more than enough for Bastia. If the deadlock isn't broken, though, expect to see one of the pair of hitmen introduced. Both sides are back on the field as we await the second period.

Gameiro's effort that hit the post apart, PSG haven't come close to scoring despite dominating the opening 45 minutes. Do you think Ancelotti needs to introduce one of his star strikers at half time or should he wait to see what happens? And have Bastia shown enough to persuade you they could cause an upset? Let me know on Twitter @maston91. I'll be back for the start of the second half.

45′
We will have no stoppage time at the end of the first half, and the half time whistle is met by boos from the home support. How long until we see Ibrahimovic and Lavezzi?

43′
Ibrahimovic is looking increasingly anxious on the bench and as long as it remains goalless the more likely we are to see the Sweden international.

40′
Jerome Rothen is having a quiet but effective match against his former side. The veteran is playing in the centre of midfield for the visitors and is trying to drive them forward whenever they gain possession.

37′
First look at Gregory van der Wiel tonight as he gets forward down the right, but his low cross can only be poked wide at the near post by Gameiro.

36′
Behind Gameiro, the trio of Menez, Lucas and Pastore are swapping positions with ease and causing problems for the Bastia defence. Despite failing to break the deadlock, the home side constantly look dangerous in attack.

33′
Superb atmosphere being created in Parc des Princes, but the chanting is punctuated for concern as Maxwell remains on the floor in the centre circle. The referee stops play to assess the full back, who gets to his feet at the same moment.

30′
Turning into a good contest in Paris as the home side again attack, this time Pastore and Menez exchanging passes on the edge of the area before the former shoots harmlessly wide from 20 yards.

29′
Bastia go straight down the other end and youngster Thauvin hangs up a searching cross from the right, but Ilan cannot force his header goalwards and the hosts have a goal kick.

28′
France international Menez and he again gets into the box, but after he was played in by Verratti he was forced wide and couldn't get around goalkeeper Landreau, Still 0-0 as we approach the half hour mark.

25′
CLOSE FOR PSG! The home side counter attack and Menez scuffs a low shot that looks to be heading out for a goal kick, only for Gameiro to slide in and force the ball onto the post. Nearest either side has come to a goal so far.

22′
Bastia showing a little more willing and have a free kick on the edge of the area. The ball is curled in dangerously and Armand has to quickly clear facing his own goal.

18′
Lucas again in the action as he cuts inside from the right hand side but fires well over the top from just outside the area. The winger is still looking for his first Paris Saint-Germ

16′
Lucas has his first opportunity of the evening with a free kick from around 20 yards, but the Brazil international slips as he makes contact. The ball hits Menez on its way through and Leandreau easily picks up the loose ball.

14′
Bastia have their first forray into the final third, but Florian Thauvin's cross is cut out and the home side counter. Better from the visitors.

12′
Jeremy Menez has had a quiet opening, but he shows what he can do on the ball as he jinks into the area from the left hand side before seeing his curled effort blocked. Despite PSG's early pressure, Landreau is yet to be tested in the Bastia goal.

9′
The set piece is crossed to the back post where Pastore is waiting, but he gets his volley all wrong and slices it wide.

8′
Yellow Card Sambou Yatabare
First card of the night and Yatabare is the recipient. He clattered into Pastore earlier and this time he was late on Maxwell on the left hand side.

7′
Bastia are struggling to get out of their own half, and after and Alex free kick is blocked, Lucas plays an excellent through ball that Kevin Gameiro lays across the middle of the box, but there is no one waiting to convert the opportunity. Bright start by Ancelotti's side.

4′
The home side have the first shot at goal as a quickly taken corner finds its way to Maxwell, but the defenders low shot across goal doesn't test Landreau.

2′
PSG unsurprisingly having much of the early possession, but the visitors are looking to make it difficult for them by closing them down quickly. Javier Pastore is introduced to Sambou Yatabare as the two clash in the centre of midfield, with the hosts winning the free kick.

1′
Bastia get us underway in the first Ligue 1 match of the weekend.

Former PSG goalkeeper Bernard Lama is brought onto the pitch as we await kick off.

The teams have made their way out of the tunnel and are going through the pre-match handshakes. Not long until we're underway in Paris

Jerome Rothen is back at Parc des Princes as Bastia captain. The France international spent six years in the French capital, making over 130 appearances.

Just to confirm, both Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Ezequiel Lavezzi are on Les Parisiens' bench should they be required. David Beckham remains in London and is therefore unable to make his debut in this evening's encounter.

Bastia are currently 13th in Ligue 1, six points above the relegation zone, and were on the end of a 4-0 thumping when the two teams met earlier in the season. With Carlo Ancelotti's PSG unbeaten in two months, a similar scoreline could be on the cards.
