Paris Saint-Germain coach Carlo Ancelotti will have to make do without Ezequiel Lavezzi after the ex-Napoli player was shown a straight red card in Sunday's frustrating 0-0 draw with Ajaccio. The Argentine forward has been suspended for three games (one suspended) with Ancelotti summoned to a disciplinary hearing on September 13 for his own dismissal.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic remains doubtful after missing the trip to Stade Francois Coty with an ankle injury, with Kevin Gameiro on standby to replace him should the Swede fail a late fitness test. Goalkeeper Nicholas Douchez and Mohamed Sissoko are still sidelined.
New signing Thiago Silva could be in line for his debut, albeit from the bench after being unveiled only on Friday, while Thiago Motta began training this week after suffering a hamstring problem during the Euro 2012 final.
Bordeaux coach Francis Gillot is set to welcome back Czech midfielder Jaroslav Plasil and Landry N'Guemo, who returned to the squad in Thursday's Europa League play-off draw with Red Star Belgrade.
Mathieu Chalme, Kevin Olimpa, Henrique, Abdou Traore and David Bellion all continue rehabilitation with their respective injuries, though les Girondins should largely field the same XI that beat Rennes 1-0 on matchday two.

The young Italian swapped Pescara for the French capital this summer in a €12m deal, and has already proven to Carlo Ancelotti the type of form which prompted the runners-up to part with such an outlay for the talented midfielder. Verratti was composed and efficient on matchday one and showed glimpses of brilliance when he came off the bench against Ajaccio last weekend. One wonders how he will perform when given a full 90 minutes, though the teenager has already won a few fans in Ligue 1.

The Polish international has started the season on a high, already bagging two goals against Evian and Rennes and will be hoping to score in three consecutive games for the first time in his career. Obraniak has been a real key player for Les Girondins since his switch from Lille in January, and it's no surprise that it coincides with the rich vein of form his club are enjoying currently. A tactical, and at times flamboyant player, Obraniak will be the main instigator of opportunities for the likes of Gouffran.
Paris Saint-Germain might've begun their league campaign on an unconvincing note, but what better way to kick-start the campaign with a home victory over a side who possess the best run of form in the division. Nevertheless, Bordeaux represent a formidable outfit, with coach Francis Gillot moulding his side well to sustain pressure. A draw would be the most likely result, although don't rule out a home victory.
