Michael Laudrup has no fresh injury concerns, but Michel Vorm (groin) remains sidelined until December, leaving Gerhard Tremmel to fill the Dutchman's boots in goal. Kyle Bartley (thigh) is also out until December, while Neil Taylor (broken ankle) will not be back in action until next season.

Chelsea welcome back Branislav Ivanovic and Fernando Torres after they served one-match bans during their side's midweek victory over Manchester United.

David Luiz will serve a one-match suspension for reaching five domestic yellow cards for the season, meaning Cesar Azpilicueta could continue at right-back, allowing Ivanovic to partner Cahill in central defence. Ashley Cole (ankle) is a doubt, while John Terry continues his four-match ban after being found guilty of racially abusing Anton Ferdinand by the FA.

  DID YOU KNOW?
  • Swansea have won just one of their last seven Premier League matches.

  • Michael Laudrup's side are the only current top-flight side never to have scored a Premier League goal in November.
  • The hosts have only lost one of their last eight league games at the Liberty Stadium, winning four.

  • Chelsea have not lost a Premier League match away from home this season, and have only suffered defeat at Stamford Bridge once - against Manchester United on Sunday.
  • Juan Mata (pictured, right) has already scored seven goals this season - five off his tally for the whole of last season - and has recorded eight assists.

  • Chelsea had two players sent off in their last league fixture, and were also down to 10 men in both of their meetings against Swansea last season.

Swansea started the season explosively, scoring eight goals in their first two games whilst keeping clean sheets in both. Michu was largely responsible for the ruthlessness shown in these performances, and the summer acquisition has netted six goals in just nine Premier League appearances since arriving from Rayo Vallecano. If Michael Laudrup’s team are to take anything from Saturday’s game, the 26-year-old will almost certainly be the key to unlocking an under-strength Chelsea defence.

Chelsea have benefited from having an array of potential goalscorers this season, taking the pressure off Torres somewhat. But after receiving a red card last time out and managing just four goals in nine Premier League appearances this campaign, the pressure is back on the Spaniard. A midweek goal from the 28-year-old’s understudy, Daniel Sturridge, will not have helped the former Liverpool man’s cause. However, you cannot keep a player of Torres’ quality down, and it is likely that he will go out there on Saturday hungrier than ever for a goal.
Prediction
Before Sunday’s controversial loss to Manchester United at Stamford Bridge, Chelsea looked like an unbeatable outfit. The midfield trio of Mata, Oscar and Hazard have terrorised defences all season, and with Swansea’s recent run of results, it is difficult to look past the Blues on this occasion.
