Netherlands do not have too many injury worries ahead of Friday's game, but will still be without a number of regulars.
Louis van Gaal already dropped Mark van Bommel and Khalid Boulahrouz after Euro 2012, and has now opted to leave out Gregory van der Wiel, Nigel de Jong, Rafael van der Vaart and Ibrahim Afellay as well as he feels they lack match practice and have been too busy with transfers in the past few weeks.
Therefore, Ajax youngster Ricardo van Rhijn is expected to start at right-back, while Twente star Leroy Fer is likely to take De Jong's place in midfield.
Robin van Persie will probably have to settle for a spot on the bench once more as Van Gaal prefers Schalke hitman Klaas-Jan Huntelaar as his No.9.
Turkey boss Abdullah Avci will have to make do without the services of first-choice goalkeeper Volkan Demirel due to injury, while back-up shot stopper Sinan Bolat is being plagued by physical problems as well.

Utility man Sabri Sarioglu is unavailable, too, and Besiktas striker Mustafa Pektemek recently sustained a serious knee injury that will keep him out of action for a while.
Galatasaray midfielder Selcuk Inan will be hoping to get the chance to prove his worth against the Dutch, but it seems as if the 27-year-old might miss out on a starting berth.
| DID YOU KNOW? |
Netherlands have lost their last four games, with Denmark, Germany, Portugal and Belgium all proving to be too strong for Oranje.
- Dirk Kuyt is the most experienced player in Van Gaal's squad with 90 international appearances, scoring 24 goals in the process.
- Klaas-Jan Huntelaar can equal Oranje legend Johan Cruyff on 33 goals for the national team, should he find the net on Friday.
- Turkey have met Netherlands on eight previous occasions. The Turks were beaten three times, had to settle for a draw as many times, and recorded two victories.
- The away side last qualified for a major tournament in 2008, when they made it to the semi-finals at the European Championship, only to be eliminated by losing finalists Germany.
- Atletico Madrid winger Arda Turan (pictured) is the player with the most international goals to his name in the current Turkey squad. The 25-year-old has scored a meagre 13 times for the guests.

The Schalke striker is Louis van Gaal's undisputed No.9 and he will be determined to prove his coach right. Huntelaar already found the net in the 4-2 loss under Belgium last month and has now netted 32 goals for Oranje. Only seven goals separate the prolific attacker from the position as Holland's all-time top-scorer, and the match versus Turkey could be the perfect opportunity to add to his tally.

Arda Turan will be brimming with confidence following a good start to the season where he helped Atletico Madrid to European Supercup glory with a fine performance in the win over Chelsea. The 25-year-old has the individual quality to cause the Dutch defence plenty of problems, and their inexperienced full-backs could be in for a difficult night.
Although the hosts have by no means been in impressive form in 2012, they start Friday's encounter as the sky-high favourites. Despite the absence of a number of regulars, Netherlands still have plenty of individual quality available, and they should be able to start their qualification campaign with a win. Turkey will certainly not be pushovers, but getting a positive result in the Amsterdam ArenA might be too much to ask from from the underdogs.
