South Korea 3-0 Lebanon: Kim Bo-Kyung double fires Taeguk Warriors to victory

In-form Kim Bo-Kyung has fired a brace to help South Korea continue their impressive start to final round World Cup qualifying as they romped to a one-sided 3-0 win over Lebanon in Goyang on Tuesday evening.
Cerezo Osaka man Kim, who provided two assists in Friday's 4-1 win over Qatar, was the star of the show with two goals before substitute Koo Ja-Cheol added a third late on.
The Taeguk Warriors move up to six points with seven goals in two games after the emphatic victory, while Lebanon are languishing in trouble with just one point from their three matches.
Korea hit the lead after 31 minutes when Lee Keun-Ho, who netted a brace against Qatar, cut the ball back into the box from the left flank for Kim to powerfully lash home past Cedars keeper Ziad Al Samad and in off the crossbar.
The hosts dominated the first half but Lebanon's defence resisted although it was only a matter of time before they added a second, with Kim doubling their lead two minutes into the second 45.
Veteran Yeom Ki-Hun released 22-year-old Kim into acres of space in the Lebanon half on a counterattack, with the Korean having time and space to race in on goal and open up his body before slotting a left-foot shot past Al Samad.
Striker Lee Dong-Gook fired over the crossbar from a corner, while he also dragged a shot wide, before the visitors had their best chance of the game on 75 minutes as Mohammed Shamas's low drive was pushed away by Jung Sung-Ryong.
Ulsan winger Lee set up substitute Ji Dong-Won for a late chance which he tamely hit at Al Samad from range, before Koo, who had replaced the injured Ki Sung-Yueng after barely 20 minutes, made it three.
Jeonbuk man Lee whipped in a cross which was cleared by the Lebanon defence to Ramez Dayoub, however he dwelled on the ball on the edge of the box and was dispossessed by Koo, who fired home an emphatic strike on 89 minutes.
