Milan boss Massimiliano Allegri will almost certainly include Gennaro Gattuso, Alessandro Nesta and Filippo Inzaghi in his starting line-up after the trio announced they will leave the Rossoneri at the end of the season.

Allegri will be forced to reshuffle his back line, with Gianluca Zambrotta replacing the suspended Ignazio Abate while Djamel Mesbah will come in for the injured Daniele Bonera.

Marco Amelia will deputise for Christian Abbiati between the posts while Alexandre Pato, Sulley Muntari and Urby Emanuelson are nursing injuries and will not feature in the last game of the season on Sunday.

Meanwhile, Novara boss Attilio Tesser will be unable to call on a plethora of first-team regulars as Massimo Paci, Samir Ujkani, Andrea Caracciolo, Francesco Marianini, Achille Coser and Andrea Mazzarani are all injured while Giuseppe Mascara is banned.

The mercurial striker leads the league in scoring with 28 goals and is a sure bet to win the Capocannoniere this season. The Swede would love to net a double in order to reach the 30-goal plateau and has a good chance of doing just that against a porous Novara back line.

The 32-year-old midfielder can hold his head despite Novara failing to secure their Serie A status this season. The veteran is the team’s leading scorer this term and will look to end a fine campaign on a winning note.
Prediction
Both teams have nothing to play for as Milan are assured of second spot while Novara have already been relegated but Gattuso, Nesta and Inzaghi will want to make sure they end their Rossoneri careers in style.
