Giuseppe Sannino's side could welcome back Simone Vergassola, after the midfielder recovered from the muscle strain that has plagued him since late October. The former Sampdoria playmaker is unlikely to start the game but may well feature from the bench, while Nicola Belmonte should also return for the hosts.

The visitors will face the Bianconeri without Cristian Brocchi, as the former AC Milan midfielder is unlikely to return until next weeks clash with Atalanta. Stefano Mauri also remains sidelined with a recurrence of a thigh problem picked up in the 2-2 draw with Milan. However, Federico Marchetti is in line to return after sitting out the last two games with a muscle tear.

The summer signing has been in fine form so far this season, and is currently leading the assists chart for his new side. The former Udinese playmaker has also chipped in with a few goals for the Bianconeri, including a well taken strike in the 4-1 victory over Chievo, and he will need to be at his best again, if his side are to overcome high flying Lazio on Saturday.

The Germany international has been a revelation for the Biancazzurri this season, and he is currently the clubs top scorer with eight league goals so far this term. The former Bayern Munich forward has also proved a valuable provider in the first half of the campaign with three assists to his name, and with the oppurtunity to fire his side to third spot in Serie A, expect a performance from the veteran striker.
    Prediction
With the visitors record on the road this season, and them having the oppurtunity to climb to third in Serie A, along with the Bianconeri's poor run of form, an away victory seems a likely outcome.
